Being that the site is a little out of the center of town, the lodge and the area around it was very peaceful and quiet. Both buildings that we stayed in were clean and well-kept. As they are new, the name and location was unknown to others working in tourism, which made it a little difficult to find by taxi. Arranging transfer with them is therefore recommended. I was not able to pay by card - but this seemed to be a local context problem rather than the hotels problem/fault (this was the case at many spots in Vic Falls, where the systems were down) - so come with cash (that you bring into the country as it may be difficult to get within the country). While not far from town (a couple of kilometers), it is certainly further than some other accommodations. - "We had a wonderful time staying at Shongwe Oasis. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming and made sure all of our needs were attended to. Our room (honeymoon suite) had a comfortable king size bed with mosquito curtains around it, large bathtub and both indoor and outdoor showers. The pool is a great place to get some sun, although I would recommend using it in the morning or lunch time as it does get leaves and seeds falling in it throughout the day (cleaned in the mornings). There’s also a jacuzzi with powerful jets. Everything that we ordered from the included breakfast was delicious and we never had to wait long for food. Free coffee all day is a bonus too! Another convenient thing is that the hotel booked excursions and even meals at restaurants, with the bill added onto our room tab so we just paid everything when we left. Overall I thoroughly recommend!"

Generally the place quite good, entrance time is on you, hope that will make you feel comfortable. Drinking and smoking is allowed outside the house. The place is so warm comfortable to stay. It has a great family.

The house is a fully furnished home to everyone who wishes to join us in the quiet residential suburb of Victoria Falls. Our room has a King Size bed with air conditioned & equipped with all basic amenities. There is 24hr access to Starlink Internet connection plus fibre backup

Its a nice and very clean place with your own bath room, air condition, coffee table, wall charging plugs and whats very important its your privacy. We have very fast Starlink internet connect plus fibre backup also we made an effort to supplement the electricity with a solar system while we have also installed a WATER RESERVOR to curb water challenges.
