Situated on a family farm high up in the beautiful Magoebaskloof mountains of Limpopo province, the Cob House is an off the grid fully equipped self catering cottage constructed from earth. It is beautiful space located near a mountain stream. Using solar for lighting and gas for cooking, all your needs are taken care of.

The space
A cottage on a working farm built using traditional cob earth building techniques. Cool in summer and warm in winter it has a beautiful feel. Large fireplace in lounge area and spectacular stars at night! Great swimming in the mountain stream in summer.

Perfect cottage for a relaxing weekend away or a break between business meetings in Limpopo. If you are looking for a magical getaway, long walks along the river and through the pine forests this is the place to come to. We also have a craft brewery on the farm where you can enjoy delicious beer brewed right here on the farm from natural ingredients and pure mountain water. No internet in the cottages, but free wifi in our farm venue and in the brewery.

Glenogle Farm is a privately owned working farm hidden amongst the pine plantations in the beautiful mountainous area of Magoebaskloof.
It is just 2 km from the R71.
The Barn is a fully equipped luxurious double story house which sleeps up to 6 people.

The space
All rooms have exquisite views of pine forests and a rolling lawn down to the dam with the purple mountains beyond. The private dam is stocked with trout.

It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs, all with open truss ceilings.
The Main bedroom has a King size bed as well as a bathroom en suite. The Bathroom has a bath, large shower, toilet and vanity,
The second bedroom has a Queen size bed and the third has 2 single beds.
The second and third bedroom share a bathroom with a large shower, toilet and vanity.

The downstairs area is a spacious open plan area with white washed beams adding character.
The country kitchen is fully fitted and has a kitchen table.
The dining area has a long French table with a French iron chandelier. The stylish lounge is decorated with comfy leather sofas, coffee table and a large fireplace.

Both upstairs and downstairs boast a warm country atmosphere by using a combination of carefully chosen antiques, Persian rugs and warm textured fabrics.

The Barn is spacious for a family, yet cozy enough for a romantic getaway for 2...
