Ranger Camp is located 3 hours from Johannesburg in the Entabeni Reserve. With five different ecosystems within the reserve, the Big game viewing, rich variety of wildlife and exceptionally beautiful scenery promise an extraordinary safari holiday.

Our town is some 160km North of Pretoria, in the hub of the Bushveld. We have a number of holiday resorts with hot springs in the area, where some allows day visitors at a small fee. THere are also numerous Game Farms in the area. Though not real big game like elephants and lions, but all the rest are here and most farms allow hunting. THis need to be arranged and fees paid. Our town is on the main road to Zimbabwe, or you can divert to Botswana or even the Kruger Park. You will enjoy it!

The space
The room for guests is nice and big with private bathroom and all you need. You may use the kitchen. We provide coffee, tea, milk, sugar and rusks. There are a few nice restaurants in town and some shops to buy necessary groceries. Our house is flat on the ground - ie, no stairs to climb. We have a very friendly cat who likes visitors. There is a safe and secure parking space and our whole area is safe. You may go for a walk even in the evening. Which you cannot do in a big city in SA.

We are pensioners and are at home most of the time. But you will have your privacy. We like guests from other countries and can share as much information as possible.

In order to get the feeling of being one with nature, the loft area does not have a Window, just a large curtain hanging from the ceiling, as well as canvas curtain on the outside for rainy days.
