Its a off-grid area, cell reception can be bad & no wifi! We are on solar; with bad weather it may possibly run out, so no electrics, only phones and laptops. Bring a torch!

Guest have full use of the public facilities: swimming pools, picnic areas with braais, tennis courts, putt-putt and 5 walks/hikes from easy to moderately challenging. Access to river spots. A guest access form must be completed and names, ID, contact number and total of guest must be provided, as well as vehicle registration. Only the amount of guests on the list will be given access. Strict NO NOISE policy including music. No alcohol or glass allowed around in or at the pools for safety as this is a family friendly space. A boma is available for rental for events at the public area.

Other things to note
No Pets. No Noise. No open fires outside of dedicated braai areas. We have a shop (only open specific hours) that has firewood, ice and a few basics. No Restaurant. Fully self-catering.

This n stylish self catering off grid chalet which is nestled in the heart of the Magaliesberg biosphere, +- 90 minutes from the city lies a tranquil escape which is where you can relax the body and rejuvenate the soul. Its the perfect get away for a couple or small family craving to indulge nature with comfort. This chalet has a solar system is limited for lights and charging of phones, with a gas operated geyser, and stove. We also have a No noise, No music No Misbehavior will be tolerated

You will be entering a Nature estate and will be required to complete a guests confirmation form prior to your visit, this is in order to arrange access through our security gates.

No motorcycles or 4 wheelers allowed, however you may bring along bicycles.

Relax with the whole family in peaceful nature. Dragonfly Creek is a spacious family home situated on a creek. The unit is self-catering, fully equipped with a gas braai. It runs on solar & gas. We are off grid ! The upstairs open plan 1 bedroom has a queen & 3 single beds with sleeper couch downstairs & seperate flat with double bed. Enjoy views of the bushveld, picnic at the creek, walks and hikes, as well as public amenities: swimming pools, tennis courts, putt-putt & children’s playground.

The space
One upstairs bedroom is open plan, shared, with a Queen and 3 singles. Private Balcony. A double sleeper couch downstairs provides additional sleeping space.
A separate, outside flat downstairs, with a Queen bed and shower, provides additional private sleeping space.

Guest access
Access is via a Security gate. Utopia Nature Estate has 3 public swimming pools, natural rockpools, 5 mild to moderate hikes, a giant chess game, tennis courts, and mini golf as well as a children's playground. There are lawns around the pools and home for picnics.
It is fully self-catering (no restaurant) A shop provides basics like firewood and ice but only open during certain hours.
A boma is available for rent for events.

We currently have no WiFi and cell signal may be intermittent

Fully Self Catering - bring everything you need including firewood, ice & a torch.
Strict NO noise policy.
DO NOT feed the baboons or monkeys.
The house runs on solar and does not have wifi. If its cloudy solar & wifi may run low & cell signal not great.

We require ID, email, phone number verification, a guest form to be completed and names/surnames/vehicle registration numbers of all guests. Guests who bring unaccounted for extra guests will be either fined or removed from the premises.
No pets allowed.
There is a strict no noise disturbance policy enforced by security patrols.
No open fires except in designated areas. do not discard hot ash in the bush due to fire hazards.

Please note, for safety, no consumption of alcohol or any glass allowed at public pools. There are public braai areas and lawns for picnics a short way away from the pools. A boma is available for rent for events.

Note! we are in a nature estate and have Baboons and monkeys - do not leave doors and windows open if you are not in a room! DO NOT feed the animals or leave food outside or in the trash.

"Bonnie" provides tranquil views of the natural environment.
It have a large living area, kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor as well as 2 bedrooms and a barthroom with bath and shower. It have one patio serouned with the Magaliesberg mountains. Main Bedroom is downstairs - Spacious and is Built with En Suite bathroom - the back patio has a stunning outdoor shower and bathtub which is completely private - The other two bedrooms are very spacious - The front Patio has incredible views and is equipped with a Braai area - enjoy nature at its purest - please note this is strictly a family or couples get away - utopia does not accept parties

There are monkeys and baboons. Please be aware that these are wild animals and it’s strictly forbidden to feed them. . They will steal your food if not stowed away in the fridge and cupboard. Baboons can potentially damage chalet contents. Again, feeding any animals is strictly forbidden.

“Vellies” 3 bedroom house is a labour of love, built for his family to get away from the city rush and reconnect with nature and each other. The family has spent many hours of stories and laughter by campfire. The house is situated within the beautiful and peaceful Utopia Nature Estate, a jewel of the Magaliesburg Biosphere, proclaimed an international Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO on 9 June 2015. This rustic style farmhouse provides tranquil views of the natural environment as well as the Tonquani Kloof. With a large living area, kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor as well as porches at both the front and back of the house, there is ample space for the entire family to relax and recharge in peace and quiet. The 3 bedrooms and 2nd bathroom are comfortably situated on the first floor with soothing views of the bush and gorge. Braai and Boma facilities are available on both sides of the house to provide you with sun or shade as you desire, and beautiful views of sunrise, sunset and the star-filled African night sky.
