I would just make sure not to book via hotels.com again as they have no way of communication channels where these types of things can be sorted out. We spent another half day trying to find alternative accommodation with no luck. J'Cups just stated the fault was not on their side. We were stranded and already paid the full amount for accommodation. The fact that we had to travel between two accommodations had its own challenges. My contact lens holder went missing from the second accommodation and we lost things that we could not keep cool in the cooler as we could not go to the new accommodation during the day with our busy competition schedule. J'Cups's manager Helen did go out of her way to assist in the end. J'Cups is a lovely place to stay at. If you were to book there, rather phone them directly to check availability."

Guest access
You are welcome to make use of the pool and can walk around the house to access the garden. The room has a microwave and fridge and your plates, cups and glasses can get washed in the dishwasher daily. I can offer an extra clean on a Tuesday and Friday if you would like me to at a cost of R50

The space
The house is a 4 bedroom, 2 full bathroom house with a yard with enough parking for 5 cars. The house is fully furnished and equipped and so is the room, a smart tv in the room can be made available an at extra fee!

Guest access
As the guest you will have private access to your room with a lockable door, and shared access, with other guests, of the lounge, kitchen, yard with safe parking, and full bathrooms!

During your stay
I will be available on the Airbnb app and directly through calls and messages should guests need me!

Other things to note
Electricity for stays longer than 5 days is charged at R100 for every 7 days

Electricity contribution after the first 5 days is R100 per 7 days.
Only one (1) visitor allowed at a time.
Visiting hours end at 10pm (CAT) so visitors are not allowed to stay after at that.
No consumption of alcohol is allowed in the rooms.
No smoking is allowed in the house, you may smoke outside.
At checking at copy of your ID will need to be provided to the host/owner

The space
The property you will be staying on is a very spacious, clutter free and modern house which has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, massive lounge area and a big yard for you to relax and soak in the beautiful weather of Pretoria after a long day of exploring the City or business meetings!

The house will be a shared house with other guests, and possibly your hosts who will be available to assist you should you need any assistance during your stay!

On the back of the property is a little wendy flat which houses the house helpers who are responsible to keep the yard clean and well maintained - they are available to assist you as our guest as well should you need cleaning or breakfast services during your stay (This will be an extra cost)

Guest access
As the guest you will have full access to the house including the kitchen, lounge bathrooms and yard space including parking - some of the spaces in the property are shared with other guests during your stay

During your stay
I will be available via phone call, on the airbnb application and via whats app text should you need any assistance. Nishen, my co-host, will also be available via the same channels and the helpers who live at the back of property will be available almost all the time to assist in case of emergencies

No Smoking is allowed inside the house
No events allowed on the property or inside the house
No Unauthorized guests allowed.
No visitors sleep overs allowed
No alcohol consumption is allowed in the bedrooms

Your room is fully equipped with the necessities and a whole lot more. 48” TV with remote and access to Netflix and YouTube . Air-conditioning unit (Hot and Cold). There is a bar fridge and private digital code safe in the room.

The private bathroom is across the hall from your room and you have the option for a shower or bath.

The unit is Solar powered with battery backup so no worries about any power outages here - you will have power.

Guest access
In addition to your bedroom and bathroom, you are welcome to the kitchen, living room and patio.

During your stay
Because we also live in the house we are available to interact with you when required. If we are at work or out, we are a call or message away and will respond as soon as possible.

Other things to note
The unit is located in a security complex and you may be required to sign in at the gate. This is simply to enhance security and give everybody peace of mind.
We accept medium term bookings up to 60 days - depending on availability.
Melinda also teaches piano lessons on a Wednesday afternoon.
