Main St which has shops and restaurants is a 10 minute walk away.

This vintage home has unique, antique features with a modern update. The living room features hardwood floors, large paned window, vintage fireplace, and a large vintage machine desk to work at.

The backroom has a large comfy couch with a 50inch TV. The TV has a Firestick with Netflix, Hulu, and HBO.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook - pots, pans, dishes, silverware, etc. Coffee and tea are also provided. There is also a coffee maker, french press, and electric coffee grinder.

During the Spring and Summer you can help yourself to vegetables in the garden and enjoy hanging out in the secluded backyard.

Both bedrooms have queen sized beds with Egyptian Cotton sheets. Plus a variety of pillows - firm and soft down feather pillows. Both beds have a down comforter and extra blankets are provided so you'll be sleeping in luxury.

The few blocks that make up this neighborhood are known at "Little Hollywood." It earned this name in the early 1900s when the richest families of Lone Pine began to settle here.

Outdoor sitting areas around the house provide enchanting views of shifting light on the horizon of rugged mountain lands, and cozy spaces to watch sunrise, sunset, moonrise, and starry night skies.

Perhaps you'd like to prepare a big, leisurely breakfast with your friends and family in our bright, fully-stocked kitchen with stools, lots of counter space, and a high vaulted ceiling, or sip your drink on the deck while gazing at the sunsets over the Eastern Sierra Mountains. Just relax and bask in the quiet serenity. The living room, during the summer, features an inviting, wrap around couch, 55" flat screen tv, and bluetooth sound bar. The mid century designed master bedroom has a new queen bed with a very comfortable Tuft & Needle Adaptive® foam mattress, and private bathroom with brand new tiled shower and double sink. It also features a work space and balcony with awe-inspiring views of the ever changing hues of the Inyo Mountains. It is well worth waking up early to catch the sunrise over the Inyo Mountains or even the sunsets coloring the sky.

The second bedroom has a queen size bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds. Both of these rooms share a full bathroom with tub/shower and two sinks.
The second and third bedroom also share a large deck furnished with seating to enjoy the amazing views of the Eastern Sierra mountains or star gaze at night.

The fourth bedroom is downstairs, furnished with a comfortable memory foam queen mattress and detached bathroom with shower. Ideal for the family member that can't do stairs. Once inside the house, it is all one level with easy wheelchair access.

There is also a loft space with a lounge chair to cozy up in solitude with a nice book, listen to music with an old CD collection or just to enjoy the view.

Enjoy the stunning view of Lone Pine Peak and Mount Whitney from our front deck that comes installed with a refreshing mist sprayer extending all the way around the deck to cool you off after a day in the sun! Also enjoy the fire pit in the evening.

The back deck has a bbq, picnic table for dining and Adirondack chairs surrounding a second fire pit. This deck has views of the Inyo Mountains and the large boulder formations of the Alabama hills located on our property!

We provide you with all linens, towels, and many bathroom amenities you may need during your stay, and if there is something else you need, please let us know ahead of time and we will do our best to accommodate you! Guests are able to use the washer and dryer in the laundry room as well.

Guests have full access to our house and 5 acre property of native desert landscape for your enjoyment, along with direct access to the Alabama Hills Recreation Area from our backyard.

Please be aware of our property line to the west (towards Mt. Whitney) which is noted by wooden posts that extend the length of our property. PLEASE DO NOT CROSS THIS PROPERTY LINE. There is access from the back of our property into BLM land and from there you can hike for miles.

Garage is not included and will remain locked.

Please be mindful of neighboring properties, and respect their privacy and quiet. We also have a seasonal creek which flows through the center of our property, please cross with caution. The property and nearby areas are also home to many native plants, wild animals, snakes, rodents and arachnida.
Please enjoy viewing, but avoid disturbing the fragile plants and wildlife that live there. Please enjoy and explore with care.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
1. THERE IS NO HUNTING ON OUR PROPERTY OR IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD.
2. PLEASE DO NOT RIDE OFF ROAD VEHICLES ON OUR PROPERTY. There are
trails in the area where it is permitted.
3. PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE PAST THE ROPED OFF AREA PAST OUR DRIVEWAY.
(Our septic tank and leech field are under this path).
4. Only 4 vehicles and 8 people are allowed per county code to stay at our
home at one time.
Other things to note
This is a two story home with one bedroom and bathroom on the bottom floor and three bedrooms upstairs which requires climbing stairs. All houses in the area are on a septic system and therefore, its digestive system is very sensitive and our home can’t handle anything beyond nature and septic safe tissue. PLEASE NO WIPES DOWN THE TOILET, even if it says flushable.

Our cozy home is located in the Shoshone EcoVillage - home to a Restaurant & Saloon, store, gas station, museum & post office. Nature, historic and vista trails are an easy walk away. We offer a warm mineral spring pool for our guests to enjoy! Enjoy our gorgeous ponds & habitat restoration that provides refuge for the endangered Shoshone Pupfish & Amargosa Vole.

Our cozy home is located 1 mile from the south entrance to Death Valley National Park. It is newly remodeled to accommodate a group of 4. It has one double bed in the bedroom, and a small room for two with a bunkbed. This home is situated in a sweet RV park and campground where friends and family can camp close by. In beautiful surroundings, this home is nestled in a lush desert oasis with a warm spring pool.

With a commitment to protecting our biodiverse ecosystem, we have created numerous trails. Across from the RV park campground is a short path through viewing ponds for the Shoshone Pupfish, once considered extinct. These pools are surrounded by newly created habitat for the endangered Amargosa Vole. We also offer several trails for viewing birds in our backyard of the Shoshone Wetlands, and a 3 mile loop of gorgeous desert vistas.

The Village of Shoshone offers a gas station, gift shop, small store and restaurant. The Shoshone Museum offers exhibits of local history and lore, the rich regional geology and natural history. Come see the Mammoth exhibit! A short walk from the village is a fascinating historical district. The homes carved into the caliche cliffs harken to the mining era of Death Valley.

Please note that we are located in a rural area and are a 1/2 hour from a grocery store. Our little general store does have a few groceries and ready-to-eat food items but if you plan to cook please do your shopping before you arrive to make sure you have what you need for your meals.

✦ DEATH VALLEY HOT SPRINGS
The hot springs are heated by geothermal heat—heat from the earth's interior. In volcanic areas, water may come into contact with very hot rock heated by magma. As it is pushed through mineral deposits, some of those minerals are dissolved into the water and when it finally makes its way to the surface, it escapes as steam and mineral-rich (and sometimes very) hot water.

Tecopa’s hot spring water is silky smooth with no odor. At the ground source, the temperature is roughly 118 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on the time of year. The temperature of the water is regulated by adjusting the flow of water into the pools. Pools are regulated to temperatures between 102 - 104 degrees F.

We are inviting you to enjoy your breakfast on our picnic table, to grill with our propane weber grill, to sit by a cozy fire using our wood burning fire pit, to soak in our mineral rich hot spring pools at night while gazing at the stars.

Our 25' Airstream is located on a hot springs property. A peaceful space situated 10 miles to the “scenic route” southeast entrance of Death Valley National Park. It provides you the perfect opportunity for scenic hikes and exploring Death Valley.

Outdoor amenities include: Hot springs pools, a private picnic table, propane gas grill with seating and your very own wood burning fire pit.

Indoor amenities include: a refrigerator with freezer, gas stove top, oven, microwave, Keurig coffee machine, pots, pans, dishes and cutlery. Sizable closet, separate toilet, shower, select toiletries, queen mattress, premium white bedding, towels and pool towels. Dedicated Starlink internet to stream your accounts with Apple TV.

DEATH VALLEY HOT SPRINGS

The hot springs are heated by geothermal heat—heat from the earth's interior. In volcanic areas, water may come into contact with very hot rock heated by magma. As it is pushed through mineral deposits, some of those minerals are dissolved into the water and when it finally makes its way to the surface, it escapes as steam and mineral-rich (and sometimes very) hot water.

Tecopa’s hot spring water is silky smooth with no odor. At the ground source, the temperature is roughly 118 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on the time of year. The temperature of the water is regulated by adjusting the flow of water into the pools. Pools are regulated to temperatures between 102 - 104 degrees F.

▪️Always bring plenty of water. We recommend four liters of water per person with additional water for cooling off. It is not recommended to drink any tap water as it has a very high mineral content.

▪️The nearest food market and restaurants is 30 min away in Pahrump NV. If planning on staying a few days we recommend bringing some groceries.

💦 The main pool is kept at a comfortable and relaxing temperature.

✻ The Airstream is located on the north side of the property at the end of the road. It is adjacent to a house, and across the road are two more homes.

- "My 7 yo walked up the stairs into the airstream and declared it his "favorite place of my life". It is amazing how well-appointed and comfortable the space is. The stovetop and grill make it easy to cook great meals, the temp was regulated well - which is super hard to do in the desert, it was very clean, and the view of the sunsets across the salt flats just gorgeous. Tecopa is very small, but there is an excellent coffee/bakery/pizza/brewery about a mile from the property, and it is about an hour from furnace creek, so a great spot to launch from for exploring Death Valley and Ash Meadows."

Feel relaxed and comfortable in my country style home . My home is on a 1/2 acre , 2 miles from the Alabama Hills, and 8 miles from Whitney Portal. There is plenty of space inside with a huge backyand front yard.

About this space
THINK TINY, THINK ADVENTURE

Modern TINY (16') Home on Wheels was inspired and built with a desire for minimalism, clean lines and efficiency of space. It has all the modern amenities you need in the midst of Nature. Space is sufficient but limited.

Tiny is located inside "Lone Pine Mobile Oasis" RV PARK, on the west side of HWY 395, and Lubken Canyon. There is Hwy noise and there are neighbors. Semi's do drive the Hwy during the night. Please preview location before booking.
The space:
Our home is only 16' long (8'x16') but has a well-equipped kitchenette, full bath with a shower and a conventional toilet.

The kitchenette has the basics and then some... a portable induction cook top, pots and pans, cooking utensils, basic spices and condiments. It also has a Britta water pitcher/ filter for your convenience!

The living / sleeping space is a twin size sofa / daybed with a pull out trundle. The foam mattress size is 38" x 75" for both beds. The top mattress is 8" thick with a weight capacity of 400 lbs and the trundle is 6" thick with a weight capacity of 250 lbs. This may not have enough support or may be uncomfortable for some including someone over 6'2".

The dining space has a movable coffee table /bench /shoe rack/ storage with locking brakes and a lift up dining table / office desk.
The bench also stores the 2nd comforter for the bottom bed.

TINY is very well insulated with Rockwool in all walls, ceiling and floor, has a built in wall AC/Heater with remote control, dual pane windows and doors, tinted glass and black out remote controlled shades for your comfort and enjoyment.

TINY only has 50 amps of power and the on demand water heater requires 50 amps. Only 2 lights are able to be used while taking a hot shower. THE BREAKER MAY SHUT DOWN AND WOULD NEED TO BE RESET. This hasn't happened in over a year but, just in case.

CAUTION: Things appear smaller than they feel like inside!
Driving up you may think, "OMG, it's so small", but after you step inside, you will hopefully feel, "WOW, it feels bigger than it looks".

The 395 highway may be too close and light sleepers may feel it is still too noisy. Please do not book and leave a bad review if this would bother you.

Escape a busy life and step back in time to relax in our tiny, high desert, old mining town. Expansive views of surrounding mountains. Dark sky star gazing. Cruise the town to see sculptures and works of local artists. Dirt roads to explore desert life in the surrounding BLM land. 20 miles from the entrance to Death Valley, near eastern Sierra hiking. The space
There are two bedrooms, a kitchenette, bathroom, and deck--it’s the whole second story of a larger house on 1.4 acres. Total indoor space available is about 600 square feet. Balcony off one bedroom overlooks garden and patio. Deck has a wonderful view of the Argus and Coso Mountains. Located in the tiny town (population around 40) of Darwin, CA, where mining used to be big business. Surrounded by the Coso Mountains, the Argus Range, and hills that border Death Valley National Park, Darwin is at just under 5000' elevation, and just a 40 mile drive to the eastern Sierra/Mt. Whitney area with many hiking trails to choose from at higher elevation during the heat of summer.

Kitchenette has a counter top two burner stove, large toaster oven, under counter size refrigerator, crock pot, blender, and microwave, as well as many cooking utensils. I supply a coffee grinder, French press, and drip equipment plus a selection of teas. Deck has a dining table and propane grill with a single burner on the side. A salt water hot tub is located on the other side of the property, but is currently not working. There is no cell service, but satellite wifi is available.

New!!! Level 2 EV charging station (up to 40 amps, with a 1772 charging plug) located in guest parking area. Fee of $15/overnight charge.

I can give a $20 refund on the cleaning fee after guests leave if only one bedroom is used. I'm also open to negotiating rates for longer stays, or working out a deal where guests can stay one or 2 days at the Lucky B, then stay one day in Death Valley or the Sierra (perhaps climb Mt. Whitney!), and return for a final day in Darwin—an opportunity for maximum exploration and immersion of the unique geology of this historic region!

Guest access
Parking is available on the property. Walking around Darwin is the best way to see it--it's just a few blocks in every direction. Please be respectful of neighbors' dwellings and don't go into any buildings without permission.

Other things to note
Inyo County TOT tax of 12% is included in the price of the reservation and will be paid to the County by the owner.
Please note: there is no cell service, gas stations, or stores in Darwin! This is a remote, tiny town, 35 miles from the nearest town with stores, and about a half hour drive to a gas station and restaurant in Death valley park.
