The house that I propose to you is located in a quiet and secure residence, Sainte Catherine district, 600 meters from the old port.
Ideally located, you can walk to the town centre, to “Butin” beach, or even to the countryside (Chapelle de la Côte de Grace).
Slightly higher, the house offers a view of the Pont de Normandie.
Whether for a weekend or a longer stay, the house is fully equipped and has been completely renovated.
In addition to the secure garage with private parking space, free public parking is located 150 meters away.

Great to listen to the first time by the second time they are annoying and by the third time of hearing them at half 6 in the morning you just want to throttle them! The owners are aware and are as annoyed with them as we were. Also if you have a low car the driveway is very steep....take it at the wrong angle and your car will ground. Some of what I have written may sound negative....its not. The owners were lovely the jam was great and we wouldn't hesitate to stop here again."

- "This apartment is on the ground floor, so ideal for those not wanting stairs, although it is elevated above the rear garden which is not accessible. The lounge has three large windows with sunlight flooding in. The two bedrooms and bathrooms are on opposite sides of the lounge, so ideal for privacy. One bedroom is small and at the front, but noise is minimal and did not disturb me at night. Lovely contemporary decor and extremely clean throughout and kitchen has all necessary appliances. Apartment is only about 5 minutes walk from central area, going downhill but not too steep or arduous a walk back. Only disadvantage is parking, you may have to park a distance away, but that seems to be a problem throughout the town. Excellent communication with owner. Coded keybox on arrival which is useful as gives flexibility on arrival time. Enjoy your stay as much as we did!"

- "It is a very quirky old house right in the centre of Honfleur with the bonus of its own dedicated parking in a garage located about 4 mins walk away ( albeit with a bit of a hill to climb) We have a large car which fitted in the garage easily enough. It is on 3 floors and the staircases are very narrow, twisty and steep. Bathroom,living room and kitchenette on the middle floor and bedrooms on the top floor. Would be unsuitable for small children or the infirm. We are in our 70s and I found them difficult. It would be difficult to manage large suitcases. However, overall we found it very comfortable with our grandson. It is very attractive and filled with interesting objects and paintings. Certainly the complete antithesis of a boring hotel room The WiFi is excellent and it never failed. There was a washing machine and dryer but we didn't use them. Plenty of crockery and glasses The coffee maker is a Nespresso machine. We would have liked an ice cube tray in the fridge if looking to nitpick. The second bedroom is quite small. The bathroom was modern with a good shower and there is a second toilet in the laundry room on the ground floor. Every room is filled with interesting objects. It is certainly a place we would return to, provided that our mobility does not deteriorate. It was useful having a teenage grandson with us to manoeuvre our bags! (All our communication with the host was in French, so if you do not speak or understand French, that may be a problem) A great stay."

Francois’ houses in Honfleur – Les Maisons De François à Honfleur LMDFH – are two first-class houses nestled at the heart of Honfleur. I have renovated, furnished, and decorated LMDFH with the greatest care to welcome you.

IMPORTANT: the town hall of Honfleur is carrying out road work on the street giving access to the house. As a result, until about mid/end of October 2025, it will be impossible to access the house by car and park there. I will cover the cost of parking in a nearby public parking lot. (East Parking)

I personally very often use each of the LMDFH, and I take pleasure to welcome friends and family.

The Tiny House is the smallest LMDFH: inspired from the American "Tiny House", this former workshop of less than 450 sq. ft. has been restored to bring you the comfort of a 2 bedrooms house, for the price of a studio.

We designed it with the help of our architects with great attention to details, both from an equipment and from a design point of view, focusing on space and simplicity.

The house is located in Honfleur city centre, 5 minutes walk from the old harbour: you can leave your car in front of the terrace on the private space which is reserved for you, and walk to the many charms of Honfleur: restaurants, museums, art galleries, gardens, beach, etc. …

The living room on the ground floor opens through a large glass window onto the terrace and the garden, facing South. Outdoor meals will become your daily routine.

You will be able to cook delicious meals in the large kitchen. It is fully equipped, with all necessary tableware and kitchenware and all appliances: induction cooktop, oven, microwaves, dishwasher, combo washer-dryer, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster.

The lounge area is equipped with a large 90” screen projection system with Dolby cinema sound: you can watch a DVD, a BluRay, Netflix, or play with the PS3 console: great entertainment guaranteed!

Copying Honfleur fishermen’s house construction, the narrow spiral staircase will lead you to the sleeping area on the first floor. You will find two separate bedrooms with an open view on neighbour gardens.

For your comfort, no convertibles, but real beds with memory foam mattress: one double queen bed in one bedroom, and twin beds in the other bedroom. They can be transformed into a king bed.
Hangers, shelves, and closet are at your disposal to store your personal belongings.

The bathroom offers with the same inventiveness in the use of space a large shower, a washbasin, toilets, and storage.

Books, DVDs, video and standard games, and a digital piano are at your disposal to entertain your evenings.

Private parking information: it is located in front of the house, outside the garden. It measures 3.20m x 6m. Access is via a narrow porch (width 2m50) and then you have to manoeuvre to park at 90°. Height limited to 2m60.
As an indication, I can park my Audi A4 without any worries, by doing a few maneuvers.

Stairs information: the Tiny House is a house on 2 floors. There is therefore a staircase, steep and narrow as is often the case in Honfleur's houses. If one of the travellers has difficulty climbing a flight of stairs, we invite you to book a single-storey cottage.
