The common areas are esthetically pleasing, with carefully curated collections of African art, historical maps, and one of the best Matchbox toy car fleet I have ever seen. Our party of three had a car accident on the way, and Dido and Lilomo drove out at night to Rumuruti to pick two of us up - an hour each way on bad roads. Proceed on Wanyee Road for 1.1km. You’ll get to ‘The Bridge Apartments’. Turn left onto the murram road after and drive for 400m. You’ll get to a big black gate and red stone wall on your right. This is the place (your temporary aboard).

This is a private room in a 3-bedroom + guest room (SQ) flatshare. It has an ensuite bathroom but shares communal areas (living room, dining room, kitchen and balcony) with the other flatmates, of local and international origin. You're free to socialise but we also respect everyone’s privacy. There is a gym and swimming pool in the compound, freely accessible to all guests. The rate includes accommodation, bed linen, electricity, Wi-Fi, cooking gas, water, laundry & housekeeping (thrice a week).

The space
You are free to interact with others, or not.

Guest access
You will have access to the living room, kitchen, dining room and balconette in the main apartment; and the pool and gym in the compound. Each room has a working desk, but feel free to use the dining area if you need a change. However, please be mindful of the noise you make through your laptop/phone/video calls when others are around.

The Smart TV has Netflix and local channels.

We have a chessboard, playing cards, scrabble, monopoly, Cards Against Humanity, some charade cards, pop quizzes, Kenyan fifty-fifty board game and we welcome more games!

During your stay
I live in the same house, but the frequency of interaction with me depends on when you visit and what's going on at the time. I am Kenyan and know Nairobi quite well so could be a useful resource on how to get somewhere, where to get what, prices etc.
