I found the hotel to be an excellent location on the island close to many amenities but quiet and off to the side at the same time. The staff that worked at the hotel, were all very, very kind and super helpful. Suzie, who works at the front desk even offered to drive us from the hotel to the ferry taxi so we could catch our cruise which I thought was a very nice gesture. - "The room was big and clean the staff was great helpful was not quite on weekends due to a club being rite next door with a live band so I couldn't get to sleep tipp 1-2 am" - "I really enjoyed my stay here. First, I was literally on the beach, like 10 steps away (beach view cabana). I loved having a kitchenette and a grocery store across the parking lot. There are a few restaurants on the beach and the ferry is a few steps away, which was great since I didn't have a car. The room was basic, but I expected that. It was very clean and had everything I needed. I think it's important to note this isn't a hotel, its like renting a service apartment, so you have to clean up after yourself. People do sit outside and talk, but everything was quiet by 9-10 pm. Other guests were friendly. It was like a little community, I loved it. For reference, the taxi is about EUR 60 each way, so factor that in (taxis are pricey on the island). Overall I had a great time!"

- "The services were great. The property was clean and the staff were friendly." - "This was a great place to experience the Island! Here are the details that I would have loved to know: Taking a taxi from the airport to Diamant will cost you more than you think it should. The cost of our single taxi ride was the same as two days of the rental car we eventually got. (Jumbo car has a desk in the lobby, BTW). It would have been very daunting to try to navigate our way to the hotel at night. The hotel is right at the Eastern most edge of Diamant Beach, the longest beach in Martinique, and the pool, restaurant and bar are all quite nice. Keep in mind, this is a GREAT place to stay in Martinique primarily because of the great views of Diamant bay and Diamant Rock you get from the balcony, the beach, and the pool. But, it is a bit older and not as fancy as many Carribean resorts geared to bring in Americans. It seamed like 99% of the other guests were French. The Hotel's restaurant, "Bord-O", is quite good, if a little overpriced. Actually I think it was the best restaurant we experienced in Martinique. Driving in Martinique was awesome. I loved it. Very tight, winding roads through little towns along the coast, beautiful views the whole way. Yes, it was a bit scary at times dodging crazy local taxi drivers, delivery trucks and the like racing around tight blind corners and round-abouts, but well worth it. I'd recommend doing a few day trips, and spend a day at Les Salines Beach (Best white sand in Martinique, hands down--take a picnic lunch!) and see some of the other towns such as Le Marin, and St. Luce, or up the coast to St Pierre. Try to time your driving to avoid rush-hour in Fort-de-France, which is kind of a nightmare. It can take forever to get through that crazy little city. But Diamant Beach is pretty well suited as a both a destination and as a jumping off point for day trips."

They left us a wonderful plate of local fresh fruit, salami, butter (French butter, ooh la la), and a fresh baguette. It was a great thing to sit down to after traveling all day. Not to mention the local bottle of rum. The kitchen was fully appointed and had a coffee and espresso machine. The rooms were spacious with plenty of closet and drawer space. The sandy beach was a very short walk away and beautiful. We were able to walk up and down several small beaches that were connected. There was a small outdoor retaraunt on the beach for meals, snacks, or drinks. About a 5 minute walk away there was a small town with a restaurant, bakery, small grocery, and a few tourist shops. We were a short drive from plenty of activities, sights, hikes, the ferry, rum plantations, and diving. I can't say enough about Christoph, Sophie, and even there son Noe. I would highly recommend this rental. We had a great time and would definitely go back!"

One bedroom has a bed that was unbalance, so if one person was on it, they'd roll to the middle. The outside kitchen was awesome but the fridge door would sometimes need something to keep it closed. Despite all that, we still had a great stay. The pool, hammock, and back yard garden was awesome!! Also, ample parking and the house is not hard to find."

- "We’ve had a wonderful stay at La Maison Fleurie. Location is very convenient, close to the beaches of Les Anses-d’Arlet, yet not too far from the market, shops and restaurants in Le Diamant. Unlike some of the places we rented in the past, everything in the house is in good working order. No problems with wiring. All lights, AC, electrical appliances – everything works. Photos don’t quite do the view from the terrace justice, as it is much more impressive in reality. With the exception of some shrubbery on the south side, there is nothing obstructing the view over the ocean to the west and north and the mountains surrounding the hamlet to northeast. We almost hesitated to leave it even to go to a beach. There’s a dinner table on the terrace, so that you can have dinner while watching the sunset. The house is immaculately clean. The kitchen is stocked with everything necessary, including a salad spinner and a grater. You may want to bring a more capable kitchen knife if you intend to do serious cooking. Outside there was a spotless grill and a generous supply of hardwood charcoals. Both M. Larcher and his wife have very engaging personalities and are easy to talk to. Upon our arrival, M.
