- "We’ve had a wonderful stay at La Maison Fleurie. Location is very convenient, close to the beaches of Les Anses-d’Arlet, yet not too far from the market, shops and restaurants in Le Diamant. Unlike some of the places we rented in the past, everything in the house is in good working order. No problems with wiring. All lights, AC, electrical appliances – everything works. Photos don’t quite do the view from the terrace justice, as it is much more impressive in reality. With the exception of some shrubbery on the south side, there is nothing obstructing the view over the ocean to the west and north and the mountains surrounding the hamlet to northeast. We almost hesitated to leave it even to go to a beach. There’s a dinner table on the terrace, so that you can have dinner while watching the sunset. The house is immaculately clean. The kitchen is stocked with everything necessary, including a salad spinner and a grater. You may want to bring a more capable kitchen knife if you intend to do serious cooking.
