It was such a unique stay that I’d recommend. It gets chilly at night but wear layers and you are fine. They bring hot water bottles to keep you warm. Spacious and simple rooftop room of an old (4th floor) family home, has 2 beds, private bathroom, electric hot shower, semi-automatic washing machine, outdoor curtains, patio, a small space to prepare light meals and a panoramic view of Lake Titicaca bay.

We have a garage, we are a 20 minute walk from downtown and half a block from public transportation.

The space
The room has large windows overlooking Lake Titicaca Bay and allow sunlight and fresh air to enter all day. During the nights it is quite cold in the city, so it is necessary to use warm blankets.
The city's altitude (3820 meters above sea level) can cause altitude sickness, soroche, headache, or shortness of breath during the first days of your stay. Rest, hot drinks and over-the-counter pain relievers such as acetaminophen or naproxen will help your conditioning.

The entrance is rustic and commonly used by the residents of the house. There is a garage with a black gate and then a metal door to the inner courtyard where you go up to the room through concrete (cement) steps.
