- "Our stay here was very nice. The view from our room and balcony was beautiful & very peaceful. The family was so nice and helpful. The food they made was tasty. We ate breakfast and dinner twice. It was such a unique stay that I’d recommend. It gets chilly at night but wear layers and you are fine. They bring hot water bottles to keep you warm. I would also recommend charging your electronics before coming because we didn’t have an outlet in our room to charge but we had a charge pack with us so it wasn’t an issue. "

Careful Only dry toilets." - "We had the most amazing experience staying on the Uros 3 nights and 4 days including the drive from Cusco to Puno enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Peruvian Andes. The local people were incredibly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and fun. Even with the language barrier communication was no problem. They even loaned us local costumes and posed for photos with us, just like family.The free breakfast was delicious but the dinners they served us were way over the top. After dinner they furnish you with hot water bottles to place in the bed before you retire that keeps you warm all night long! The bed was so comfortable we want to find one like it for our own home. To have solar electric and plenty of hot water in this location was such a comfort."
