We didn't use cooking facilities because there are a few eateries servicing decent Chinese food at very cheap prices around Dongsi Subway Station which is only 150 metres away. It is not a full serviced hotel and there are no on-site restaurants or other facilities catering for business travelers. However it is definitely family friendly. I would like to specially thank hotel staff Miss Cheng for her excellent services which was started well before we arrived including the airport transfer and tour to the Great Wall. "

We stayed in their "Executive Studio" and the room has plenty of storage space for our luggages (2 medium/2 carry-on), a comfortable bed, a spacious kitchen and a nice bathroom. The in-room washer/dryer combo machine was also a luxury to have (detergent is available in the common laundry room on Floor 1). A shopping center (Yoolee Plaza/Yongli International) is within walking distance and we went there alot for quick eats. While this location is slightly hard to find, use the map within Hotels.com (NOT GOOGLE) to get an idea of how to navigate to the place. You can only access the area by going off an unmarked alley off Gongrentiyuchang N Rd and drive north and pass the Xingfu Apartments to get there. It is slightly north of the Beijing's Worker's Stadium. We plan on staying at other Base-locations in the future."

- "The location of the apartment/hotel was not accurate on the website.On the website it shows it next to Wangfujing but it is actually a 10-15 minute taxi ride away from there." - "Accommodation was very run down and disappointing. We arrived very late at night, it was very cold and the whole apartment was freezing. We had to figure out how to get heating on but it didn't work well so took ages so we had to sleep in jerseys and jackets. Whole floors passage way from the lift to apartment door wreaked of cigarette smoke all the time. Shower door was broken so they just put a make shift curtain up, toilet paper supplied was bare minimum, light in bathroom above basin mirror not working and lady just basically said can't sort so bathroom had one small light which was very dim. The floors and furnishings weren't cleaned properly. They were dusty and grimy. The kitchen was also dirty and no utensils to use or anything to wash with. What was in the cupboards was dirty and unusable. Paid for 5 people to stay and only 2 towels supplied. I asked for more and only got 2 more. Never 5. Second double bed in lounge. Single bed in room with no window and noisy aircon/heating that dripped water onto the bed. The main bedroom bed left almost zero room to get to the one side of the bed - you have to shuffle sideways to move there AND the bed is a water bed!!!! Terrible for someone like me with a back problem!! So, location is fine but that's it."

We couldn’t find front desk, it was a closed door room. You need to call the # posted at the door, which cost you an international call fee bcuz you don’t have local phone.
