The property was overall clean in strategic places like bathroom and bed, however it was dirty in more forgotten places like corners and especially in the kitchen (cupboards, shelf’s, extractor or behind the hob). There was some fan in bedroom which was super dusty and we could not use it. The dish cupboard had some mould at the back board, and you could smell dump. The kitchen is not very well equipped. It has good size fridge, but super tiny worktop space or none worktop (table)and everything is very outdated. If you want to cook the frying pans are rather tired and look like they’ve been found in trash. There is some basic knives, but you can barely chop with them. There is also tiny terrace but again was quite dirty and we haven’t used it at all. But as I said, if you just want a place to sleep and get a shower close to historic town centre this will be perfect. We wanted to travel on the budget, so we hoped to cook more rather than eating out but it was a bit difficult with what was available. And definitely the property would benefit from some deep cleaning. "

The only thing that I would say in objection is that I spent a day on our ferry ride from Corfu to Brindisi to urge the managers to give us the code to enter. - "We stayed in the villa for a week in August 2022, as a family group of 6 adults. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Oksana and her very friendly dogs and cats. First impressions were of a large, oasis-like, gated house, with extensive grounds surrounded by high hedges, including a swimming pool and lots of different fruit and vegetables growing. The pool is in clean, well-maintained and is of a good size with plenty of sun loungers. Next to the pool there is an outdoor kitchen, which is under cover, including a barbeque and pizza oven. As a family, we found it lovely to be able to prepare our evening meal there and eat together on a large table, under the vine leaves – which, as a result of the lovely weather, we were able to do every evening. The rooms are comfortable and clean with very good air conditioning. There is also WiFi, with a reasonably good connection speed. Oksana was a generous host, bringing us fresh fruit and vegetables every day – also some delicious home-made grappa and wine. The villa is very close to Brindisi and the main road between there and Bari but we were not disturbed by traffic noise at all. We used our stay as a base to visit various sites in Puglia, including Polignano a Mare, Ostuni, Lecce, Otranto and Taranto. This was our first time in Puglia and we fell in love with the friendly people, fantastic food and wine, lovely weather and great places to visit. Overall, we had a great family holiday at the villa and were sad to leave – I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil, relaxing time."
