It's easy to get around both by public and by private transport.
Near the building there are bus stops for all directions, in Garibaldi square there are metro Linea 1 main stop, in Corso Garibaldi there are Circumvesuviana train station from which you can easily reach Pompeii, Herculaneum and Sorrento, a few minutes walk and you arrive at the port where you can take ferries and hydrofoils to the islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida, the Sorrento Peninsula and the Amalfi coast.

From airport: you can reach our apartment in two ways by taxi and by bus.
By taxi is 15-20 minutes, remember to ask about "tariffa predefinita" to historic center so you will pay 20€ all included.
By bus (Alibus) is 30-35 (if possible by tickets in airport's tobaccos 5€ each one, on board is 5€ per person), you have to get off in Piazza Garibaldi, get in R2 bus and get off at 2nd stop. The building will be in the other side of street just in front of you (on foot from Alibus stop to our apartment is 10-15 minutes).

(If you want, my brothers in law Rosario and Giuseppe can do as shuttle from/to Naples airport / rail station with their neapolitan style cara - a Ford Fiesta and Focus cars of 2000 -, ask before for additional price and availability).

It is located on a big street, within walking distance from the train station, historical center and the harbour. The metro station is just 5 min on foot. The apartment has everything one might need - the kitchen was fully equipped, with a nice supply of condiments. There were soap and shampoo in the bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the living room was very cozy to sit after the long day. We liked everything about the apartment. There is a great famous pizzeria just opposite to the apartment, lots of pastry shops and some small grocery shops around to buy food for breakfast. The apartment is located on the top floor, but we never used the elevator as we had to burn all the calories we consumed in this tasty city. We would love to be back some time to explore more Naples. I chose the bnb originally for the quiet location and the a/c, and it met both requirements. There is a wall a/c with a remote, so you can set the temperature to your preference. With the windows shut it's comfy, cool, and quiet all night! Breakfast is delivered outside your door, and you can select in advance from an online menu, even while you are out. The hosts also kindly provided my breakfast the night before my early morning tours, so I never had to go without. Only a few things to be aware of: my taxi had a hard time finding a route to the bnb due to road blocks. I imagine the hosts might have helped if I asked because they arranged my taxi out for me. The closet metro stop is Toledo, ~10 mins away, but you have to climb a flight of stairs on the way back to the bnb, as well as 2 long flights up to the room, which can be a lot at the end of a long day. An outdoor elevator at the property costs 20 cents but I couldn't be bothered to search for the change. While the bnb is rather out of the way of the main sites, it's very close to San Carlo Theatre. There is also no laundry, you have to use a public laundromat. Finally, special shout out to my hosts who gave me a cold pack when I needed help after twisting my ankle! Thank you so much!! Overall, excellent stay and I hope to be back."

Aside from having an amazing view (and that terrace!) the place is also spacious and homey and located in a neighborhood away from the bustle of the city (though still accessible to everything). The two bathrooms are great, especially the strong showers. Laundry made it easy for me to "live" there for several weeks comfortably. The only word of caution I'd give is it would be tricky for anyone with mobility issues the stairs, tile floors, and surrounding hills. We have two bedrooms with double beds that we can make single on request, a comfortable sofa bed in the kitchen / living room, and a single bed sized bed pouf which, depending on the need, can be located at different points of the ' flat. In some cases, when the number of guests is reduced to a bedroom and a bathroom may be kept closed, but we always guarantee access to that provided with a washing machine. The kitchen is stocked with sets of cutlery, plates and glasses, and is equipped with both an electric oven and a microwave oven. Inside the apartment is strictly forbidden to smoke and the only smoking areas are the balconies. Pets are not allowed.

Guests will be welcomed at the time of their arrival and will try to satisfy, where possible, special needs. Any request for advice or suggestions for your stay is well accepted and will be made as exhaustive as possible. During the stay they will be able to contact me if need be.

In compliance with the provisions of the municipality of Naples, guests will have to pay a tourist tax, which applies to those over 14 years, of € 2.50 per person per night up to a maximum of 14 nights, not included in the price the apartment. Upon check-in guests will be provided a courtesy kit, after which they will be responsible for finding soaps and hygiene products. Towels may vary depending on the length of your stay.
Along the Amedeo Savoie Course you can park for free when there is availability, or, for more peace of mind, you can arrange with a private garage adjacent to the palace generally closed at noon to 6 am and on public holidays from 2 pm At 17:00.

We are right next to the Villa Floridiana, the Certosa San Martino Museum, which preserves among other exposure Neapolitan Crèche eighteenth century, the splendid staircase called 'Pedamentina' World Heritage of UNESCO, which is the way the longest pedestrian and old from the city: 414 steps that connect the Certosa di San Martino with the Spaccanapoli area in the heart of the city; the house is very close to the Diana theater. - "We stayed in Naples for two short nights on a larger trip through Italy, and mainly used it as a base for departure to Vesuvius and the ruins.
