I’ve stayed in 5 star hotels in Chennai where I’ve seen pests in the hotel. I didn’t see a single one here. The location is right on the corner of Joseph St. and Veeramamunivar St, where there is a colorful, ornate temple arch. You can walk out and find just about anything you need- bottled water, food, clothing, groceries, toiletries, coffee, tea, and beyond. It’s approximately a 15 minute, inexpensive ride to the airport, even with Chennai traffic. Despite being close to the airport, you don’t hear many airplanes passing by. During my 2 trips, I stayed in 2 different rooms. Both had all I needed. The rooms are quiet. The beds are comfortable."

A few good fruit stands and Rogers Supermarket helped along with a well-stocked medical shop run by a very friendly and helpful pharmacist. "
