The twin bedroom and bathroom are located on the first floor of the house. In the immediate vicinity is the Ring of Kerry Golf Club, which offers food and drinks in the clubhouse.
Kenmare is about 8 km away and offers everything you need for your daily needs. There are many pubs and restaurants where you can eat well.

The space
The twin room is on the first floor, has two single beds equipped with new mattresses in 2023. The top beds and pillows have also been renewed, so nothing should stand in the way of a relaxing sleep. The private bathroom can be reached through a small hallway. There is a tub in the bathroom, which also allows for showers.
A kettle is available in the room.
There is also a smart TV in the bedroom, so you don't have to do without your favorite series even on vacation.

Rooms in home situated one mile from the Center of Cahersiveen town, on the Ring of Kerry Road, The Wild Atlantic Way and close to The Kerry Way. 20 minutes drive to Portmagee where the boats leave for the famous Skellig Rock that has appeared on “Star Wars”, and The beautiful Kerry Cliff’s , 3 miles to the car ferry for Valentia Island with many scenic view points, 10 minute walk to strand and many sandy beaches within 15 minute drive. 5 minute walk to Supermarket and Hotel

Guests are welcome to use the sitting room, where they can watch TV, read or relax and look out at the view of the Fertha river, Begnish Island and Ballycarbery Castle. This room may be shared with other guests. You may also like to sit outside on a fine sunny day.

There is no meal plan with this room, the Skellig mist cafe has a large selection of breakfast options and we do a deal with them.
The mooring/bridge bar also do a large breakfast option and open early .
We live in a nice private area with ample car parking space. Our neighbours are lovely but keep to them self's, as does ourselves once we have met with you.

We are situated in a quiet and secluded private compound minutes from Killarney National Park, Conference and Concert Centre, which also offers
family-friendly activities. Pubs and Restaurants are also within easy reach. Our rooms are large and ensuite, we offer unlimited free wifi and free secure car parking. Bus and train stations are also only 10-12 minute walk. Bike rentals, which is the easiest way of exploring the lakes and parks, are situated 5 minutes walk from house.

So much to see and do in Killarney that it could take a lifetime to see everything. Bus trips, Boat trips and of course the famous Jaunting Car trips which take visitors all over our beautiful National Parks. The famous Gap of Dunloe experience which takes a full day. This trip includes horseback or trap through the mountains. Lunch at Brandons Cottage before boarding boats for final leg of trip through three lakes to Ross Castle. A bus pick up is arranged to a drop off point in Killarney town.

Situated just off the main street in Castleisland this is an ideal location to explore the town and surrounding areas.
Our home is a 1930’s period townhouse with large garden to the rear. It is tastefully styled in an eclectic mix of retro and contemporary influences and offers the visitor the best of old world comforts with modern conveniences. Visitors will be welcomed by the host, Gina and her loyal pet Sally, a friendly dog who lives in the house.
