Candles, pool/beach towels in a basket we could take with us on a day out, umbrellas, a torch, and plentiful supplies in the bathroom as well as fresh milk in the fridge, replenished daily. Oh, and the view! The lodges have been cleverly positioned so none are overlooked. From your balcony deck The Bijou river winds seaward providing ever changing bird life with each tide. So that’s the accommodation. Now to the food. Breakfast is two fold and plentiful. You can order a selection of cooked breakfasts and also there is a bountiful buffet full of every type of fruit, cereal, fresh bread, jam, muffins, mini quiche to suit all tastes. As a guest you are automatically reserved an evening table at Emily’s restaurant. Property is laid out very well and room was spacious and clean with wonderful views on the bay. Did not get to use pool unfortunately ad we arrived close to sunset and left early the jext morning. Breakfast was fantastic, too much choice for us that morning as we were about to do a bungee jump and did not want to over eat! Very tasty and great choices.
