- "First up, everyone is lovely. However, the Villa itself is not great. In three sections, bedroom 1, bedroom 2, living room with a pool in the middle. Everything is a bit tired. The doors are rusty and hard to slide open. I had to put a rubber band on the shower head to keep in place. The bathrooms are external so constant mosquitoes and flooding from the rain. The decking around the pool was uneven with nails sticking up. There was also constant construction noise which didn’t make for a relaxing time. Worse of all, the location sucks. If you have a scooter probably ok but as a family of four with kids it was really dangerous to walk anywhere. The entrance is on a blind corner with no shops right in between the two sets of cafes etc. Even though it’s a short walk either way we had to get Grabs every time. I wouldn’t stay again. "

It would be nice to have a few more options like pancakes and bananas. Great general location not far from Ulutwatu Temple and a wonderful restaurant named Be Ja na. About 20 mins from Melasti Beach (amazing!) or the other beaches northwest of this location (we also went to Suluban and Dreamland). Transport by taxi or scooter is required, since there isn't really anything within walking distance of this place. The bathrooms were functional but could be updated a bit to include a proper sink/counter area not just a pedestal sink. We recommend! Thanks for everything!"

The entrance:
As you arrived in our hostel, Drifter Wood, there is a motorbike parking area in your right side and the entrance is on your left. As you enter the gate, you will be surrounded by natural gardens, which leads you to 4 bedrooms, with ensuite. Every shared room has its own bathrom and 3 single beds. In front of the dorms, are 2 shared equipped kitchens and tables. As you continue you will enjoy a spacious pool in a private and cozy area to chill.

The Hostel was created to bring a sense of community and relaxation after a day of surfing and enjoying the Uluwatu Beaches. Housekeeping available from 10 a.m.

The dorms:
Each dorm has 3 single beds, with locked drawer, bedside tables, AC, courtains, clothing rack. Linen and towels provided.

Hot shower, mirror, soap and shampoo available.

2. **Quiet Hours**: Please respect the quiet hours from 10 PM to 9 AM. This helps ensure a peaceful stay for everyone.

3. **Local Recommendations**: If you need suggestions for restaurants, cafes, beaches, or other activities, we'll send you the Guest Book. We'll be happy to recommend the best options!

4. **Motorcycle Rental**: If you'd like to rent a motorcycle, I can recommend local businesses.

5. **Airport Transportation**: Need transportation to or from the airport? Let me know and I can recommend transportation for you.

6. **Garbage Disposal**: When your trash bag is full, please take it to the large trash can located next to the kitchen.

7. Please smoke outside your room.

8. Extra room cleaning with linen and towel changes: Rp 100,000.

9. Lost key: Rp 250,000.

10. **Monkeys**: We are in Bali, and monkeys are common in the area. Please keep doors closed and avoid leaving personal belongings outside, as they may steal your belongings. Don't worry, just follow these simple precautions, especially in the morning.
