The geodesic dome is located just above the lake where you can hear the gentle tumble of waves on the shore and has a skylight, “panoramic windows” facing the shore and a wood stove waiting for you to light it up. There is no electricity in the dome, no WiFi and minimal cellular connectivity, so get ready to disconnect from your social network and to reconnect with nature. Bring your own food, but the utensils etc are provided. The is a wood fired sauna and a plunge pool/tank and the lake (about as cold the plunge tank) - frosty in August. It dropped to 8C overnight but we were snug and warm weighed down with enough blankets and comforters. Loved every minute of our time there. "

The house was gorgeous and easy to make ourselves at home in, all as promised. Advice to travellers, there is only one small grocery store with limited stock (we bought the last container of milk on our first day and they never got more up to when we left) so might want to plan ahead a little. On the other hand, there is a wonderful bakery/deli/coffee shop which was amazing. Close to Kluane Park (also amazing). We’d recommend staying here and making sure to visit Kathleen Lake!! Crazy amount of wildlife on the drive up/back from Muncho Lake to Whitehorse! Donna was great to deal with and provided little subtleties for us and for little Ellie :)"

The space

Our cabin can accommodate up to 5 guests. There is one queen size bed in the loft, one double nook loft bed on the main floor for either a strong person or two skinny people and a two person hide bed in the living room if needed. You'll have a fully equipped kitchen, a big and comfy dining space in the front and a living room with a cozy propane fireplace in the back. There is also a washroom with toilet and a shower. No Internet.

The Lake View Cabin is located 40 minutes out of Whitehorse.

Our cabin is an ideal location for Northern Lights viewing in the Whitehorse area, there is no light pollution and a perfect view of the northern sky from the comfort of the cabin. Our property is surrounded by Yukon Wilderness, endless trails and nearby historic Lake Laberge. The cabin is newly constructed in 2016, private, clean and comfortable. Our place is well suited for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).

This is a 2 room log cabin. There is one bedroom and full bathroom with toilet, sink, shower and heated floor. The main room contains a futon and dining table and kitchenette along one wall. It is conveniently heated with electric baseboards, so regardless of the outside temperature it is always as warm as you want it to be. We have large thoughtfully placed windows in the main room that allow for watching Northern Lights and the feeling of the outdoors inside. The kitchen is equipped with double induction cooktops, a microwave, electric kettle, toaster, coffee press, under counter refrigerator, pots and pans, dishes and flatware, and dish washing supplies. There is a bedroom with a Queen bed and in the main area there is a sofa bed which is ideal for one adult but can fit two snugly.
Wireless high speed internet is available in the cabin and outside as well.

The cabin is located about 100 meters from our residence. It faces north and offers privacy and a wonderful view of the Miner's Range and the mountains on the east side of Lake Labarge. Parking is directly next to the cabin. The large mowed field in front of the cabin can be used for ball games or the like, or for setting up your tripod to photograph the northern lights. There is a nice big campfire area with benches in front of the cabin for your use. Firewood is provided and there is a grill if you want to cook something over the fire.

We are busy around the property most of the time and can answer questions if needed.

This is a quiet rural area of mostly agricultural properties and people who love the Yukon wilderness.
5 minutes down the highway by car is Takhini Gas and Tum Tum's Butcher Shop, a gas station with small deli with excellent home cooking, locally grown food products, convenience store and showers. On our property are several other cabins nearby inhabited by local residents, a lovely community of fun people who care about each other. We feel pretty lucky to be able to live here and think our guests will enjoy the good vibe here as well.

We are located 25 minutes from the Whitehorse airport by car. You need your own transportation to get to and from our place. Our driveway is directly off of the North Klondike Highway and access is easy. There is no need for 4 wheel drive, we keep the driveway plowed and the parking area.

We have a large network of trails we access from our yard. We are happy to share these trails with guests but ask that you don't use motorized vehicles on them.

The cabins are located near KM Post 42 of the Tagish Road #8, towards the West end of cragLake, we're just 12 kms east of Carcross. Our cabins overlook the entire valley with stunning views of Crag Lake and the Surrounding Coastal mountain ridge.

Cabin #2 features a kitchen with a sink, mini-bar fridge. oven/stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, knife set, pots and pans, blender, spice rack, dishes and a table that seats four. The bathroom, complete with shower/toilet/vanity is also located downstairs.

Upstairs is a queen-size bed and a double futon (couch/bed). There's a TV (with lots of movies, Netflix, sorry no Cable), a Bluetooth player, and a comfy chair. The cabin is tastefully decorated with art by Local Artists.

Location, location, location. Some say that Whitehorse is just 20 minutes from The Yukon. While we all embrace our capital city as the economic, historic, and cultural hub that it is, it takes about 20 minutes to reach the outskirts of the city and truly appreciate the wild expansiveness of this territory. Located just 25 minutes north of the Whitehorse City Centre--a short 10 minutes off of the Alaska Highway--The Big Red Barn sits in the heart of one of the Yukon’s most popular aurora and night sky viewing areas.

Just off of the North Klondike Highway–on the ‘Marge of Lake Laberge'– The Big Red Barn is easily accessible. While a buffer of trees around our 22 acre property creates privacy, the central area is wide-open so you can fully appreciate the Yukon’s brilliant night skies, the aurora borealis, or our summer's famous midnight sun. The accommodations are a step above camping - the tiny house itself was warm and cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. There is a compost toilet and outdoor, propane heated shower. For cooking there is an electric kettle and camping stove, and basic dish wear for 1-2 people. The location is very close to downtown, but I wouldn't say it's easy to walk downtown."

PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION
cabins are located three hours from Whitehorse at Little Salmon Lake. The address listed is my home address. The cabins are off grid and dry and located in a very serene and quiet spot, and is the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy nature.

The space
These are off the grid dry cabins. The rental includes the use of two cabins. It is ideal for those seeking a cozy real wilderness experience, not a luxury stay. Therefore, if you are interested in this location, I would only recommend going if you have basic outdoor skills (for example: making a fire, getting water in the winter using a ice auger and operating propane tanks to turn on stove and fridge.) There is no cell phone service, no wifi, no electricity and no running water during the winter months as the pipes freeze (however, there is running water from May-October.) All instructions are written in the cabin.

This space is ideal for nature lovers. It's a lake front cabin and is the perfect spot for hiking, nature viewing and canoeing.


Amenities include:
sauna, outhouse, canoe, snow shoes, BBQ, guitar, gazebo, board games and books.

Showering:
In the summer months we have a blue bucket shower from the deck. You will need to collect water from the creek or lake, heat it on the stove, then fill the bucket up for the shower. However, if you want a real shower, Carmacks has showers and laundry services available during the summer months.

As the cabins are so far from our main home, we have extra bedding in each cabin for the single or double beds, all are marked in individual bags.
We kindly ask that at the end of your stay, you put fresh beddings on the beds you have used ( fitted sheets, top sheet and pillow cases) place used items in a garbage bag and if you are returning to Whitehorse bring back and we will arrange to pick up or leave the bag in the cabin and we will pick up.
PLEASE do not bring quilts, comforters and odd blankets back to town as this leaves the next guest in the cold.

Basement suite is located at army beach, about a 30 minute drive from Whitehorse. There is a small private basic kitchen area, and a private living area with a smart TV and DVD collection. The property is a three minute walk from the lake and a perfect spot to watch northern lights in the winter months. There is also a outdoor fireplace with hammocks to enjoy a few drinks.

The downstairs has a cozy bedroom, a little kitchenette, couches and a smart tv with a great movie selection for adults and kids.

Army beach is a popular sunbathing spot, and one of the warmest and shallowest places to swim in the Yukon, which makes it great for kids. It is a bay with beige sand, surrounded by forest and scenic mountains. It is part of marsh lake and flows north into the iconic Yukon River.

In April and May it is a great place to spot Trumpeter and Tundra swans and very close to swan haven where you can spot hundreds of them at once.

In the winter months it is a quiet and serene environment, where you can walk into the glittering snow covered lake and feel totally at peace. There are also great trails for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. When the sun goes down it’s a perfect spot to sit around the fire, sip on some hot buttered rum or coco and watch the spectacular northern lights. They can be viewed from mid August to mid April.

Welcome to Rainbow Road! I've just moved to Whitehorse with Budd the Dog to explore the trails, experience the midnight sun, and run an NGO.
This isn't the luxury model of an Air BnB, nor does it have a lot of character - I just moved in myself! I am in the process of unpacking/painting, so the room will have more updates as we go.

Crestview has extensive trails, mountain views, parking, wifi, and great busses.

The space
One large bedroom with queen bed, own couch, and direct yard access.
An additional queen bed can be provided for a fee - if you'd like the second bed, simply select four people when you book.

If there are three of you, one is relegated to the couch unless you select the "4 guests" option. I need to bring in, build, and make the second bed.

All other spaces, including the kitchen and bathroom, are shared. There is a small tub but a shower with GREAT water pressure. Laundry is available within reason.

Kitchen is fully equipped and you are welcome to the spices. Unfortunately, I am celiac. I ask that any gluten products stay out of the toaster and surfaces are cleaned with bleach. Thanks!

Dogs are potentially welcome - let me know when you message.

The whole house and yard are available! Only the garage is not.
There is plenty of parking as well.

Eventually, this space will be rented out due to the housing crisis here. Right now I want to provide a safe and quiet spot for people who are heading to Rendezvous, conferences, whatever else. I hope you can make yourself at home just as I am working to.

The space
Nestle into a 2-bedroom haven, thoughtfully designed to accommodate up to 5 guests. The kitchen is equipped for culinary delights, and an additional sofa bed is perfect for that fifth traveler. A gentle reminder: nature dictates our flow, so during the freeze, running water takes a pause. But rest assured, drinking and cooking water is provided. Our pristine bathrooms are just a short strill away (150ft.) in the main lodge. Craving a local culinary experience? Visit 'The Wolf's Den' restaurant on our neighboring property in the winter or our own European Foodtruck from May-September. Given our nestled location in the wilderness, 15 minutes from downtown, having a car is highly advised. Welcome home! The cabin is located at the Caribou RV Park and Resort, Canada’s best rated RV Park.

Note: This cabin has no running water during the freezing period, we are in the subarctic. We provide drinking and cooking water in jugs.

The bedroom have a queen size bed and a futon couch (that can be unfold into queen size bed). There is 3 piece bathroom attached to the room.

Guest access
Guests can access the back deck and area in front of the house if needed.

During your stay
We love to give our guests some space and privacy but me and my spouse will be able to interact with guests if needed. We can also be reached by pressing the doorbell on the main front entry of the house or by phone or message.

Once you arrive at the property, please park your vehicle closer to the right hand side (near the small wood shed). You can walk around to the back and you will see your room marked with letter (A).

8 mins to downtown( Superstore, Walmart ) by drive, bus station around, very convenience to go everywhere that you want.

Keep it simple at this peaceful place, located just 3kms from downtown Whitehorse. Whether you're a solo traveller discovering the Yukon or have just moved to Whitehorse and need a place to crash until you find long-term housing, this is a great place to relax at the end of your day. Quiet neighbourhood and affordable. Nice forest trails right outside the door that follow the Yukon River.

Guest access
Room and bathroom are private for the guest, as well as the outside patio.
If staying for less than a week, the kitchen can be used for simple things like heating up food and making coffee/tea but not for cooking full-fledged meals. If you are renting for the month, then the whole kitchen is available.

During your stay
Your hosts are a young couple of entrepreneurs, one English one French. We'll be around every night and available anytime by phone, but we'll give you a door code and leave you in peace.
