The sitting areas are covered in debris from the trees and haven’t been cleaned to be ready for guests. The bathtub had hair in it, shower exterior appeared to be damaged or moldy, and shampoo dispenser has such old shampoo the ingredients are starting to separate. I came here 20 years ago with my parents and sister and returned with my husband and children, after sharing my memories of it. It’s no longer a B and B and more’s the pity as there is no nearby food option or kitchen in the room (though the owner has been kind to supply a couple of bowls, plates, glasses, and cutlery and you have a small fridge and microwave in the downstairs suite). Though my husband called in advance of our booking to ensure kids were okay on property, the owner seemed surprised about it when we arrived. That was uncomfortable. And there’s only a very small, hard futon for kids to use. (Ouch!) There are also no double kayaks, which had been a huge draw in going there as the water is incredible (giant starfish, seals, and sea cucumbers!) So you have to go down the road and rent them at an added cost. If you’re downstairs, the main issue is that it’s very hard to sleep as you hear everything happening upstairs. No question- it was once a jewel and could be again, but needs some attention to nearly every aspect. "

Welcome to our Coastal Retreat located on the beautiful Sechelt Peninsula. We are a 40 minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay and a 20 minute drive once your have landed in Langdale.
Our guest house, built in 2017 is a couples perfect get away. It is located among majestic cedar and fir trees, with a peek a boo view of the ocean. You only have to walk down our driveway to be at one of the most secluded natural beach area on the coast.
The guest house, although only 545 sq ft has 12 foot ceilings, with a wall of windows that make it very bright and spacious. All the floors are radiant heated with separate zones in each room. The kitchen is equipped with new Bosch appliances, including a dishwasher and natural gas stove, micro wave and fridge. There is also a clothes washer and dryer for your convenience. All counter tops are quartz stone, with the island having a seating area for meals.There is a leather sectional couch and a 42" TV perfect to curl up and watch cable,or Netflixs. Wifi is included.
The bedroom has a queen size bed with elegant bedding and a large dresser for your clothes, and there is plenty of closet space. The bathroom has a glass and tile shower. There is built in Bluetooth in the bathroom exhaust fan so you can listen to tunes while you shower.
A 17 by 12 deck is located at the front of the guest house and has a Weber bbq and a natural gas fire pit. See if you can spot the bear as you enjoy the deck.

The property is on high bank with good quality, lighted steps down to the beach. There is a large deck on the beach where you can sit and watch the ocean life. Dolphins, whales, seals, sea lions, eagles and numerous different sea birds have been sighted over the past year.

Our beautifully maintained 2 bedroom garden suite has a private entrance off a covered patio, gas fireplace, hardwood flooring throughout, under-floor heating in the tiled bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, full sized appliances, and a washer and drier. Sitting room, kitchen and bedrooms look out onto the garden and ocean.

The master bedroom has a king sized bed and it’s own exit onto the patio. The second bedroom has a queen bed.

There is a gas barbeque on the deck and a variety of seating areas where you can enjoy the garden and the view. The gazebo-covered hot tub is steps from the suite with stunning views over the water.

We are thirty minutes from the ferry and three minutes to the shops, restaurants and galleries in Sechelt.
