Suzanne has thought through all the best things about a vacation trip - walk-in closet with lots of shelves to unpack items, a relaxing great room, a kitchen that works for snacks or meals. It is 5 minutes away from grocery shopping and even a Starbucks although you would never know it was so close. So THAT"S how gourmet mushrooms are grown!!? Overlooking the beautiful Walker Creek with huge trees, wildlife and lots of sun, this rustic,clean,cozy tiny home was built with the lovely gully in mind. Walking to Gibsons along the farm stand road allows us to enjoy the quiet, rural beauty and bounty only minutes from town. Truly the best of both worlds. Tiny is a non-conventional tiny home on wheels with an open floor plan for the feel of space, light and air... We know that not everyone can use composting toilets in their homes but we are lucky here to be able to give back to the planet with our bucket toilets, grey water filters and composting.....well everything.... ;) so be sure to ask for a tour of the mushroom facility and join us for some truly down to earth living. :)

Away from the bustle of the city, this hideaway is a marvelous location for nature exploration, exercise, relaxation, or a retreat to do creative work. It is a quiet self-catering, self-contained Bed and Breakfast one bedroom suite, located in a contemporary country beach community home. It has all the amenities of comfort and then some.
Location, Location, Location!
Your suite is a 10 minute drive from the Lansdale Ferry, and downtown Gibsons’ shops, restaurants, artists studios and entertainment.
This is a perfect home base for exploring the coast, enjoying runs, walks and bike rides. The gentle environment is filled with birdlife, including jays, woodpeckers, gulls, eagles and humming birds.
Only a 0.3 km walk away is Gibson’s Ocean Beach Esplanade trail. The path is a five mile round trip loop from our front door. The Esplanade is along the waterfront, with public beach access, frequent benches, packed dirt for low impact running or walking, and black top for biking. Chaster Park is located along the Esplanade and is a popular destination for picnics, and beach combing, especially at low tide. The area is a frequent sight for weddings, romantic getaways and meditation. Two playgrounds are within a few minutes walk for those families that want outdoor entertainment close by.
Gibsons also is the site of the K2, or Knob Trail — which is an intermediate trail leading to Mount Elphinstone, and the 26 mile bike loop of Mount Elphinstone Provincial Park.
Kayak launching is available at Gibson harbor, and other nearby water sport venues.
The Layout:
A spacious, elegantly appointed, bedroom and bath is separate from the living room, dining room and wall of windows and doors leading to a private deck. These chambers overlook southwestern ocean and mountain views, pine, deciduous trees, fruit, and flower gardens. The French contemporary designed kitchen is complete with island, full refrigerator, microwave, stove, cookware, coffee/tea set up, and table settings.

The suite has a separate entrance, parking space, and laundry access. There is an entertainment center with books, games, CD player, TV with cable and Netflix and Free WIFI. All bedding and linens are included in the rate. Along with the Queen Size bed, a double pull out sofa bed in the living room expands the sleeping space to four.

Separate Studio apartment is sunny and large. This stylish place is perfect for a weekend get away on the Sunshine Coast. Your space is separate from the main house and very quiet. Located close to Bonniebrook Beach and all that Gibsons has to offer. This detached studio has a large living area with a Queen bed, Full kitchen, Kitchen island and 3 bar stools, sofa and TV, washer/dryer, bathroom with a soaker tub and shower. Halcyon Hill Hideaway is the perfect spot for a beautiful, tranquil and cozy holiday. This new contemporary cottage is surrounded by big Cedar trees and has lovely views just outside the wall of windows in the front. Out back you have your very own forest. Just steps away you will find fantastic views of the ocean and mountains. Despite its secluded location, you are just five minutes away from swimming beaches, local breweries, hiking trails, tourist attractions, restaurants, and grocery stores.

Reading one of the books wrapped in one of the blankets was my favorite thing in the evenings. The air conditioning works super good, almost too cold at one point for us - Elena responded to our need right away. Internet and netflix/TV worked very well, dad and kids glued to the screen whenever they could. Kitchen is well stocked, organized and certainly met our need. We were pleasantly surprised by the milk, cream, apple and some nice sweets Elena prepared ahead for us. The cottage is located on a hill a short distance up from Gibson's port. The space
Your Suite has been designed with simple luxury in mind. Two bedrooms (one Queen and one Full double), full washroom, full kitchen. We provide high thread count linens and Luxurious towels. The kitchen is stocked with basic staples and we are always available to attend to your needs.
Enjoy your private outdoor area which includes a 10x10 dining Gazebo (added June 2022) so you can comfortably enjoy the sunny days as well as the rainy ones! Your seating area includes table and chairs, BBQ and sweeping ocean and mountain views! You are surrounded by beautiful gardens and a tranquil fish pond.
To be finished late June 2022 is an outdoor shower.
We have plenty of room should you choose to bring your Kayak.
Your private covered Hot Tub and area is also beautifully landscaped and offers you infinity views of the ocean, Keates Island, Gibsons Harbor and the cut through to Vancouver Island.

Your own private cabin in the woods stocked with all of the modern comforts you need for a great vacation! The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, large bathroom that has a walk-in shower with a rain head, laundry and heated floors. The living area boasts a comfy sofa with 50" TV with cable and Netflix. The bedroom has a very comfortable queen size bed with storage for your belongings. Climate control will guarantee that you're cozy in the winter and cool in the hot summer. Just minutes to Gibson’s and Langdale Ferry terminal . Modern 5 year old home with newer modern furnishings. Take a bus from the end of driveway or drive from our guesthouse to anywhere on the Sunshine Coast. We have an assortment of sporting equipment, for your enjoyment. Relax after a beach hike in the hot tub overlooking the North Shore Mountains. Take a staircase hike up Soames Hill for spectacular views of Gibsons and Vancouver Island. Visit a wide range of restaurants in Gibsons and Sechelt. Take a walk to the neighbourhood pub and our local Persephone Beer Farm. Mountain biking or trail hikes are endless and both challenging or leisure depending on your ability.

The "Love Shack" is the perfect get away for a couple or a pair of close friends! Nestled in the woods you will find a rustic cabin with cedar skin siding. Endless hot water on demand and electric fire place make for a cozy feel in the winter. The deck is an ideal space to sit and enjoy a beverage during warmer months! Enjoy a comfortable sleep with memory foam mattress and feather duvet! Close to a great network of local biking trails. We are less than two minutes from the ferry terminal by car. Our beautiful home was built in 2019 and boasts style, comfort, and sensational views from every room. With an abundance of patio space, privacy, and fine furnishings we guarantee you and your guests a top-shelf experience that you won't forget.
We are located in the wonderful and quaint sea-side community of Grantham's Landing. There is a lot of history and character in this neighbourhood with heritage homes dating back to the early 1900s and a lovely private community dock that was once a port for passenger steamships to land at, dropping people off at their summer vacation homes.
Walk right out the front door and you're surrounded by trails, hikes and just a short walk (but a steep one!) down the hill leads you to the beachfront and additional trails leading to the historic town of Gibsons.
Parking and EV Charging is complementary. The kitchen is fully equipped and there are spices and basic cooking ingredients. Shopping is only a 5 minute drive away. This home is ready for you to check in and start living the good life.

The home has been designed to accommodate a part time care-taker space on the basement level which is completely self contained, soundproofed, and does not share any common entries, outdoor spaces or amenities - In fact, it is very likely that their presence will go entirely unnoticed unless you have any special requests.

A long driveway leads to a quiet 2.5 acres of nature. Lovely manicured gardens and a mixture of trees rock walls and gardens, The suite is perfect for one or two couples or a family of four wanting 1400sf one level. Seperate fully equiped kitchen/dining room table for four with a door. The living dining and two queen beds are open concept with limited privacy. A seperate bedroom with a third queen bed has an outside entry. The bathroom has a private shower enclosure, when you have to share with your friends and family.
Three queen beds, and one private bedroom. 75 in Smart TV. Large secessional couch for 6 people. Dining table with 6 chairs. Wood burning stove. Lockable sliding door for a second outside access. Plenty of glass for maximizing your views of the property.
The entire ground level suite has window views of the property and gardens. Northshore Mountains and Soames Hill can be seen. The spacious 2.5 acres of trees, gardens, rock walls and lawns are home to wildlife, birds and deer, often visible.
Easy ground level access with no steps, an exterior sliding door and separate bedroom door to exterior . Door lock code provided for easy access. An outdoor enclosure and teak dining set for those sunny and rainy days. Fire pit chairs and lounging furniture awaits. Relax and enjoy. Sporting equipment available on request.

The Shanty is a Micro Cabin with a bedroom Loft and outdoor trough tub on our 2.5 acre property on Reed Road. This Cabin is a super funky, private and laid back feel.
Our property is within walking distance to so many amenities: Public Transit, Gibsons Park Plaza and all the Restaurants & Storefronts along the 101 Hwy.

The space
The Shanty is complete with 2 outdoor patio spaces, outdoor trough tub with propane water heater, string lights and is nestled within the trees.
Inside you walk into the main living area with radiant floor heat. You will find a couch, tv, kitchenette, bathroom and ladder which leads up to the bedroom loft complete with a queen bed.
The kitchenette has: fridge/freezer, electric hot plate and skillet, microwave, keurig, kettle, toaster and all essential cooking items.
The bathroom has a walk-in shower stall, toilet, single vanity and mirror with towels.

The Shanty Micro Cabin sits at the centre of our acreage nestled in the trees. It is within close proximity to another cabin on the property and the main house.

Arlo is south facing and soaks up the sun throughout the day — and when it gets too warm, the original AC unit cools the space down quickly.

The space
The Sunshine Coast is a 40 minute ferry ride from Vancouver. A convenient vacation destination, discover your Sunshine Coast personality with magnificent access to year round activities, nearby restaurants, the public market and local shops. With breathtaking views of the Popham Islands in the foreground and Vancouver in the background, wake to the sounds of seals slapping in the water, birds singing and eagles calling.
The natural surroundings are home to our resident deer and other wildlife who frequently visit the property on their way to the beach. Whales and Orcas make guest appearances, depending on the time of year. Sip an espresso or coffee from the CitiZ Limousine BlackStorm Nespresso machine and watch storms right from the warmth of the living room. You will be blown away.
For the comfort of our guests, each room has its own baseboard heater with thermostat control, an electric fireplace, portable oil heater, portable fan, a dehumidifier to control humidity levels, and of course guests can open the windows for ocean and rain-forest-fresh air. The bedroom has a window AC in the summer.
Relax with a book on the day bed and look at the amazing view, free Wi-Fi, cable, watch TV on the flat-screen HDTV or walk 200 steps from the back yard, down the meandering forest trail (wear good shoes and the trail is difficult for some) and you will have the entire area to yourselves for suntanning, swimming or beach combing. The sun room provides a restful dining space overlooking one of the oldest Arbutus trees on the coast. At the end of the day have a soak in the tub, unwind in front of the cosy fireplace and enjoy dinner overlooking the water where the afternoon sun filters through 150 year old Coniferous trees and mature gardens.
When you are ready to retreat to the bedroom you will be instantly relaxed by the calming sound of waves crashing on the beach.
The owners home is a few metres above the cabin with mature shrubs for privacy. Expect complete solitude and a quiet stay.
HISTORY
Built in 1936 by Mr. Kelly himself, this cottage has many unique features. Cpt. William E. Kelly from the Isle of Mann. had civil and mechanical engineering degrees. Kelly Road was named after him. He was Weyerhauser's Superintendent in Washington in 1932.
Walking down to the front door you will immediately notice a rugged garden landscape. Inside the beach chic designed cottage the original Douglas fir flooring and panelling was restored. A Manx inscription on the arts and craft mantle describes his perspective about life on the Sunshine Coast.
RESERVATIONS & PAYMENT
We accept reservations through AirBNB on-line. In order to reserve, we require 100% of the total cost of the booking.
CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT
Our Sunshine Coast Vacation Rental is almost always booked with a guest checking out in the morning and another guest checking in that evening. Our property takes approximately 3 hours to clean, and to wash, dry and replace all the linens and towels. Therefore, our check-in time is 4:00 pm and our check-out time is 11:00 am. Occasionally, we can offer an earlier check-in time or a later check-out time but only if nobody is checking in or out on the same day. If you wish to guarantee a check-in time prior to 4pm on the day of your arrival, the only way to do so is to book the property for the prior night and then you can check in at any time after 4pm the day prior to your arrival. Likewise, if you wish to check-out after 11am, the only way to do so is to book the property for the next day as well and then you can check-out at your leisure.
RENTAL RULES
It is our priority to make your stay at our home as peaceful and enjoyable as possible. The Cottage is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood where it is important to respect our neighbors.Your host lives in a newer home above the cabin on the same property. You can expect complete privacy. However, give us a jingle if you need any assistance. No outside noise is permitted after 10pm. No more than two cars. No events or parties are permitted. No additional persons permitted other than those guests staying unless specifically authorised in writing by the owners. We expect our guests to remember that depending on the time of year, there may be wildlife and insects on the property and to use caution.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Guests may cancel and review any penalties by viewing their travel plans and AirBNB's Cancellation Policy. We highly recommend that travelers get last minute cancellation insurance through their own travel insurance.

The whole cabin is yours to use. Kelly Road is steep. During the winter months, make sure your vehicle has new winter tires.

Pets are welcome. The owners dog Juno may be around. The yard is not fenced. Kelly Road is steep. I stay in the house above. The living room has a cot if guests do not want to share the double bed in the sun room. The trail is challenging. Be forewarned. Welcome to our cozy loft in upper Gibsons. Snuggle up with a cup of coffee in the morning and watch the deer in the meadow, then take a scenic 10 minute walk down Inglis Trail to Lower Gibsons for some sight seeing and shopping. We are a quick drive to any of the beautiful local beaches and are within walking distance to local restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores. We offer a full kitchen with coffee and tea available, a full bathroom, with a washer & dryer and air conditioning.
The space
The loft is on the second floor of the building so there is a set of stairs to climb to gain access around the rear of the building. The loft is a studio apartment so the kitchen/living-room/bedroom are one main room. We always make sure there is coffee and tea in the kitchen, along with laundry detergent for the washer and dryer. If you have any allergies to certain cleaners, fragrances or detergents please let us know in advance and we will be happy to accommodate. Our bedding and pillows are a down alternative and the sheets are cotton. Our water is from the local aquifer and in 2005 won best drinking water in the world from Berkeley Spring International Water Tasting Contest.

Our house is at the top of a steep hill (which helps with the view!) - it’s a pretty tough walk, but it’s totally possible! It’s also fine for all types of cars. To make your journey up smoother, we suggest cars take the left corner wide as you turn onto the main section to avoid skidding on the drain cover. Walkers are welcome to stroll up through our garden (on the right) which is a slightly easier walk.
We have a friendly labradoodle and a toddler - the sound proofing is good, but you may hear the odd excited woof or sounds of little feet.
The suite sits at the top of seven stone steps that could be a challenge for individuals with mobility issues.
The walk to/from Langdale ferry terminal takes about 15 minutes.

There is a Fridge inside the closet in the suite. Guests will easily find the Wi-Fi password in the room.

There are a few things guests should be aware of before booking.
- the height in the tiny home is limited. If you are 6’2” or above you may have to duck in some areas and it might not be the most comfortable fit for you.
- The laneway to the tiny home is somewhat narrow. Sedans and SUV’s will have no problem. Trucks should use caution. I drive a truck and have never had a problem. Use at your own risk.
- Storage is limited. There are a couple of drawers and crates to store your belongings but I encourage guests to pack light.
- First aid and fire extinguisher are located in the small kitchen cabinet underneath the stairs (nearest the entrance).
- There is garbage and recycling located behind the cedar fence opposite the tiny home.
- We have a Portuguese Water Dog who occasionally likes to wonder the property. She is very friendly and hypoallergenic. Let us know if this is an issue for you.

The suite is located on the ground floor of our home surrounded by large cedars and lush gardens. Guests are welcome to enjoy the entire yard and garden.
From the living room, walk out to the garden patio with a bistro table for guests' private use. The living room is spacious and bright with an automatic gas fireplace that keeps the space very cozy in winter or on chilly nights. In the summer, the surrounding trees provide shade to keep the suite nice and cool even on hot days. There is large sofa, tv, kitchen table, raised bar with chairs, a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, gas stove, dishes, utensils, and basic spices. We provide coffee (from our local favourite spot - Beachcombers Coffee!) and a variety of teas.
The bedroom is spacious with lots of dresser and shelf space for storing personal items. The queen-size bed has a memory foam mattress topper for that extra bit of sleeping comfort.

This 1940’s warehouse conversion is conveniently tucked away in the heart of Lower Gibsons. Our stylish Laneway suite has its own charming, private entrance and is the perfect base for exploring the area. Easily accessed by public transit from the mainland, you can skip the ferry lineup! There are many great restaurants and cafes within a short walk or head to the public market and build your own picnic. We are 3 blocks to a nice swimming beach and minutes from kayak, SUP and scooter rentals.

This stylish little self contained suite is housed in a heritage warehouse building that was once used by the CBC to house props for the Beachcombers TV series. A perfect place to discuss the day's adventures or read a book in the sun. If you would rather explore the beach is a 5 minute walk down the hill where you will find a perfect swimming beach that the locals use.

Other things to note
Our home is set into a hill. The driveway is steep and there are quite a few stairs, so it's not wheelchair accessible. The neighborhood is also dark so please have a flashlight if you’re walking on the stairs at night.

A 10 min walk to one of the best hikes and view points!
Please note that when the suite is not in use, it becomes part of our home so while we aim to keep it very clean we do have a dog and cat and can’t guarantee you won’t find the odd hair.
