One bedroom cottage with ocean view. The Guest House is located near breath taking Bonniebrook Beach in Gibson's, BC. Take in the spectacular sunsets as night falls. Just a short stroll to the beach with many scenic forest trails near by to enjoy. Our cottage comfortably sleeps 2. Accommodates 3. See amazing wildlife from your front window. We are located a quick 12 minute drive from the ferry terminal. A perfect get away any time of year.

A fully equipped 1 bedroom cottage all to yourself in a beautiful setting. Just minutes from one of the most beautiful beaches on the Coast. The cottage comfortably sleeps 2 people with a futon that can accommodate a 3rd person.

Perfectly situated between the ferry and downtown Gibsons (less than a 5 minute drive to either), you'll feel as if you've escaped to the countryside as you drive down a forested driveway, and get to your private cabin on our 5 acre farm. The cabin has a large loft with a queen bed and a pull-out double downstairs. You are a short walk from Persephones Brewery (where the Gibsons Farmers Market is held on Sundays) and Gibsons' most popular hike, Soames Hill. Several beaches are also nearby.

Guests have use of the cabin as well as the yard and outdoor eating area near the cabin. We kindly ask that guests don't hang out behind our house; our windows mainly face that way and we like to have a little privacy. Feel free to explore the rest of the property though!
Other things to note
We allow dogs (or cats, etc), love animals, and don't charge a pet fee. We ask that you don’t have your dog on the couch please. If you have your dog off-leash on the property, we expect you to keep an eye on them at all times so it will not chase our elderly cat. Our cat doesn't go far from our back door, so won't be near the cabin.

Keats View Cottage is a 1930s-era two bedroom cottage close to a nice swimming beach and with some ocean view. It is the only home on a 1/4 acre lot. The cottage has a big deck and garden, plus WiFi, board games, DVDs and Netflix for those rare rainy days.

Keats View Cottage is a 1930s-era two bedroom cottage close to a nice swimming beach and with some ocean view. It is located on Marine Drive, opposite the ocean. The cottage is the only home on its quarter-acre lot. Keats View Cottage features a small but lovely garden where something is always in bloom, wood floors, wood-burning fireplace, large, partially covered deck for all weather enjoyment, very well-equipped kitchen and renovated bathroom with claw foot tub/shower.
The cottage is equipped with high speed internet; TV with Netflix access for anyone bringing a mobile device that is Chromecast enabled; new high-end firm queen memory foam mattress in master bedroom and newer queen traditional mattress set in second bedroom.
Fridge/freezer, electric stove, washer, dryer and dishwasher, plus a host of small appliances: blow dryer, blender, coffeemaker, crockpot, popcorn popper etc.
Very family friendly with high speed wireless internet, Netflix, DVD player and movie library, TV, games, puzzles and books.

Walks Around Gibsons: The Heritage Walking Tour is a great way to discover some of the history of the town’s beginnings. Ask at the Visitor Info Centre in Pioneer Park for walking tour maps as well as the Purple Banner Tour guide, leading you to the studios of local artists who welcome visitors.
Soames Hill offers a fantastic view of Gibsons, Keats Island, the Paisley Islands and Bowen Island. These trails can be accessed from Soames Rd, approximately 80 m. east of Keats View cottage.
The Landing in Gibsons
The harbour area known as the Landing is home to Molly’s Reach, famous as the setting for the popular CBC-TV series The Beachcombers. Stroll along the pier to the gazebo for great views. Just a few steps away, the seawalk skirts the harbour and winds around to the marina. On these waters you see a wide variety of craft, from fishboats to luxury yachts. Sign on with a charter to cast your line or learn to sail. Winegarden Waterfront Park, overlooking the harbour, is home to free outdoor summer concerts and nearby is weekly market for local produce and artisans.
Sunshine Coast Museum & Archives
The Sunshine Coast Museum & Archives presents the history of the Sunshine Coast and its inhabitants. Two floors of exhibits: Natural History Collections (fossils, butterflies, minerals), Pioneer Period Rooms, First Nations, Small Wooden Boats and Models, The Beachcombers, a photo collection, and more.
Smuggler’s Cove Provincial Park makes a great day- trip destination. Located past Sechelt, an easy 1km trail leads to picnic grounds in a beautiful location. Car required.
Skookumchuck Narrows Provincial Park, near Egmont is another great day trip. Be sure to time your trip with the tide table in order to see the tidal phenomenon. This is printed in every issue of the free Coast Reporter, published each Friday and available from paper boxes along Marine drive and throughout the Coast.

This beautiful 2 bedroom southwest facing cottage in front of the ocean is west coast living at it's finest. Located 5 mins from the town of Gibsons in Gower Point, this location is arguably the best west facing beach on the entire Sunshine Coast (the locals all say this). This is an opportunity to experience the beautiful sunshine coast sunsets and oceanic surroundings at their best. Brand new hardwood floors and a floor to ceiling paint job add a spritz of freshness to the exposed beam space.
The space
The interior of the cottage has an open plan with vaulted ceilings, along with an air tight wood burning stove. It also contains a Viking gas stove/oven and stainless steel appliances. The beds and furniture are very comfortable and there's a minimal modern yet cozy feel to the overall space. We wanted it to be less cluttered and simple so guests can feel comfortable using the space with their personal things. Please keep in mind that very minor scuffs and bruises are apparent but let's just say it adds to the charm.

Guests will have access to the main floor of the cottage (downstairs is storage that is accessed by owner seldomly), barbecue, the large deck, the long ocean side esplanade (which is excellent for walking), Bonnie Brook beach which is right outside the front door, and countless trails and hikes in the area. The cottage is set up for wheelchair access and is equipped with grab bars in the bath/shower.
Other things to note
Please stay clear of the yard and pool and sauna area behind the cottage as well as the area underneath the deck. There is firewood at the back of the cottage (please make sure there isn't a fire ban before lighting a fire in the wood stove or using the barbecue - fire bans have been in effect every summer for the past three summers). Please turn propane tank off when finished with the barbecue. : )

Marina View offers a massive master bedroom on the second floor with king size bed, electric fireplace and sitting area to relax and read away for the rest of the home. The deck off the bedroom provides a place to sit and enjoy a coffee while watching the sunrise. There is a private ensuite bathroom with a jet tub and separate walk-in rain shower. Also on this floor is a second bedroom with a queen bed and a separate bathroom with a tub and rain shower. Both bathrooms are bathed in natural light from skylights. The third bedroom is on the main floor and has two twin beds or it can be converted into a luxurious king bed (please request this!) and has a bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The main floor has a large kitchen with lots of counter space, stove top, wall oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer. The kitchen provides all the amenities of your own home with many additional small appliances like a juicer, cuisinart, coffee maker, kettle, and toaster.
The dining area off the kitchen has stools to allow conversations when one is cooking and has seating for 8. It faces out to the backyard oasis with sliding doors opening onto a patio to enjoy the tranquility of sitting under the palm trees and reflecting on one’s daytime adventures. There is an outdoor dining table and barbecue.
Our living area faces out to the ocean marina view with a spacious deck to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and on cooler evenings bask in the warmth from the fire table. There is a seating area with love seat and couch facing a wall mounted t.v. with cable and internet. There is also a DVD player and a collection of movies!
The home also has a separate laundry area with laundry sink and full-size washer and dryer.

** This is the main part of the house! There are tenants on the property but they do not have access to any of the amenities from the main house. You may however see them in passing if they are parking their cars. The space is extremely private and is geared towards families so please be advised!
