The space
Cottage consists of 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a 1/2 bathroom and a Jacuzzi tub. There is a sitting chair and TV and DVD player. The 2nd bedroom includes a double bed and single bed with a sitting chair, TV, and fire place. The kitchen is fully stocked with small, large appliances and tables and chairs. There is a selection of coffee, tea, sugar and spices. There is a full bathroom off the kitchen. Living room has full size couch, sitting chairs, propane fireplace, TV and DVD player, large selection of DVD's , as well as board games and books on the area and BC. The rustic wood interior is the stuff of childhood memories. There is ample outside space. Enjoy the rustic front porch furniture, decks on multiple levels, and a good soak in the 4 person hot tub. You will love taking a hot cup of tea or coffee down to the deck with a water view.

Hearth & Cove is an easy walk to access the Wild Pacific Trail and Little Beach. Ucluelet is a 15 min walk away or a short drive. Tofino is about 30 min away by car.

Cottage is open concept. The bedrooms are separate by lay out and the living room floor but do not have doors.

The hot tub is not covered so we can enjoy the rainy and starry nights.

Check in is 4pm at the earliest unless prior approval has been given. This gives our cleaner enough time between bookings to ensure our cottage is clean and ready for you!

Any late check out without prior approval will incur a $50 an hour fee. Strictly enforced. Our bookings and ability to clean effectively between them count on prompt check outs.

The entire area has wild animals. Please do not feed any animals other than the birds. (We provide bird seed for that. Please put some out on the upper deck and enjoy the Steller Jays!).

It can be quite rainy on the West Coast! It lends to the stunning beauty here. But be prepared for it. No refunds based on disappointing weather.

Even though you are in the middle of town, the trees on the property give you that forest seclusion you're searching for. The VRBO platform was really hard to communicate through and fill of glitches that make checking in difficult but Jesse and Kristin were so helpful and kind and made my 30th birthday one for the history books. - "We enjoyed our 2-night stay overall. The place was clean and new with well-maintained appliances and furniture. However, the low beds might be challenging for those with mobility issues. Privacy outdoors is limited due to close neighboring houses. Our interaction with the owners was minimal but slightly disappointing. When our flights were impacted by a global IT issue, we requested flexibility on dates or a partial refund, but they were unwilling to accommodate. While I understand their policy, previous experiences have shown more flexibility in such extraordinary circumstances. Fortunately, our airline managed to rebook our flights, allowing us to still enjoy our planned visit to Ucluelet, which was a pleasant surprise. Despite this, the owners' inflexibility was a downside for us." Although their check in process appears to be seamless, the one slight struggle was their lock. Its not the most intuitive and it can take sometime to figure out. We have interacted many digital ones and have never had trouble."

Outside Inn Cabins & Lofts are lovely one bedroom cottages accommodating groups of up to 4 guests max per cottage (includes infants and children). Nestled on 5 acres of private rain forest, The Outside Inn is located just minutes from The Pacific Rim National Park in nature's paradise of Ucluelet, BC, Canada. Endlessride Surf School offers daily lessons.

We welcome your Dog to join you. We charge a $30 fee and kindly ask you to keep on leash and dont leave alone in your cabin. Please request.

The space
The Outside Inn is on 5 acres of beauty! Located right across the street from Willowbrae Trail. You have 1.5km trail that leads to South Flo Bay. The bike path is paved and leads into town and (soon) will connect with tofino via the pacific rim park. There is also a communal fire pit and outside games for guest use.
We kindly ask that no tenting or RV’ing in outside spaces. Just stick with your cabin.

The COASTAL COTTAGE 1 at the Outside Inn is a self contained, one level private cottage. Full kitchen and bath. Raised comfy queen size bed. Double pull out couch. Propane BBQ on a covered deck. Nestled in the rain forest. This is the ultimate quiet and relaxing cottage.

The space

Unfortunately the couch doesn’t pull out into a bed.

Guest access
All floors to yourself. There are three flights of stairs in the unit. The downstairs bedrooms is bunkbeds and there are no windows in that room. The washing machine and dryer are also in that room. A bathroom with a toilet and shower are beside it.

Return from your adventure to relax in your private hot tub or cozy up by the romantic wood burning fireplace before retiring to your king bed for a restful night's sleep.

The space
The Bracken is designed to deliver the conforts and amenities desired on your trip to the Pacific Rim.  The private hot tub is just the icing on the cake.

Featuring hardwood floors throughout the living space with tile in the kitchen and bathroom. The luxurious bathroom features heated floors and a deep soaker tub for those that like to indulge in a bath. A full second set of towels, along with beach/ hot tub towels are provided.

The kitchen is outfitted to make cooking for a night in easy. All our cookware and supplies are well kept and ready for your creations. We offer local coffee and a tea to get you off on the right foot. Naturally, wine glasses are always on hand.

The cabin is tech friendly. We are within cell service and the cabin has telus wifi so you can stay connected.... but we won't tell anyone if you claim to be out of range;) There is a smartTV mounted above the fireplace offering direct access to netflix and various apps.

The cabin can be setup to accommodate families of four. We have done away with the futon, added a nice couch, and a double self inflating mattress that is easy to stow during the day. We provide the extra linen, and the fir dinner table seats four.

Post and beam timbers shelter the cabin's exterior living space from the elements for year round enjoyment. The private and carefully maintained hot tub welcomes an evening soak. A couple chairs and propane barbeque round out the deck.

Guest access
The bracken cabin is at the end of the trail at the back corner of our property. The two adjacent properties are undeveloped so the only neighbourly noise will likely be the wind through the trees. You have exclusive guest access to your cabin and the area surrounding.

Other things to note
The hot tub is operational year round and continues to receive proper attention after each departure. We follow provincial guidelines for sanitation and operation of the hot tub. Bromine is used in our hot tubs.

We do still welcome 1 well mannered pup who's owners can keep their four legged friends hair and fur off the linen and out of the hot tub. ** Please message us with breed and number of dogs prior to booking if you'd like to bring more than one pup** Guests are responsible for any damage to the cabins, furnishings (including linens), and  property caused by their pets. Please include in your booking note: your pups name, and breed. We do not welcome any other type of pets.

The space
Cottage consists of 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, 1/2 bathroom and a Jacuzzi tub. There is a sitting chair and TV and DVD player. The 2nd bedroom includes a double size bed and full size bed bunkbed, and a double bed with a sitting chair, TV, and fire place. The kitchen is fully stocked with small, large appliances and tables and chairs. There is a selection of coffee, tea, sugar and spices. There is a full bathroom off the kitchen. Living room has full size couch, sitting chairs, propane fireplace, TV and DVD player, large selection of DVD's , as well as board games and books on the area and BC. The rustic wood interior is the stuff of childhood memories. There is ample outside space. Enjoy the rustic front porch furniture, decks on multiple levels, and a good soak in the 4 person hot tub. You will love taking a hot cup of tea or coffee down to the deck with a water view.

Hearth & Cove is an easy walk to access the Wild Pacific Trail and Little Beach. Ucluelet is a 15 min walk away or a short drive. Tofino is about 30 min away by car.

Cottage is open concept. The bedrooms are separate by lay out and the living room floor but do not have doors.

The hot tub is not covered so we can enjoy the rainy and starry nights.

Any late check out without prior approval will incur a $50 an hour fee. Strictly enforced. Our bookings and ability to clean effectively between them count on prompt check outs.

The entire area has wild animals. Please do not feed any animals.

It can be quite rainy on the West Coast! It lends to the stunning beauty here. But be prepared for it. No refunds based on disappointing weather.
