Deluxe large 3 bedroom, ocean view cottage rental. This fully appointed cottage sleeps up to 6. The main level is a large open space with 2 sliding patio doors leading to a beautiful large deck, BBQ & spectacular ocean view. The kitchen is fully equipped has granite counter tops and looks out to the ocean. There's a cozy electric fire place in the living room, and a full bathroom. The bedrooms and second full bathroom are located on the lower level. There is also a small nook containing a bar fridge and sink. The 3rd bedroom has a comfy pull out sofa bed (double full memory foam mattress) and a TV with Blu-Ray player. The bedrooms have queen beds, sliding patio doors and partial ocean views. There is a portable fire bowl located on the lower lever, with chairs. Axe and firewood are not supplied, however firewood can be purchased at the San Juan Market store or along the main road (Parkinson Rd.).

Welcome to the beautiful rugged West Coast. Home to Tall Tree Music Festival, and Song'nSurf. You will see bald eagles flying around, and loads of humming birds. Just a 5 minute walk to the beach and marina. We are at the end of the cul-de-sac and we are the most private property surrounded by cedars on all sides. Our property is larger than most. The name, "A Shack In The Woods" was chosen for personal reasons. It is not a shack by any means and we are not totally secluded . A lovely cottage by the sea, built in 2011 with approximately 450 SF. The fire pit area has slate all around and is hidden by the cedars. Firewood is supplied at no charge. Fully equipped kitchen with all the amenities you will need to cook up that great catch of the day! BBQ on the deck that is enclosed, which makes it ideal for your child or pet. The bedroom has a queen size bed with 2" foam topper. You have patio doors to take in the lovely sun that shines all afternoon at the front of the cottage. Ideal for those who love to sunbathe! There is a queen size hide a bed in the living room with a top of the line mattress, without bars. Sheets and quilts are provided. The bathroom has a tub/shower and is supplied with towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There is a table for 4 in the kitchen. Flat screen TV, Netflix and wifi supplied. There are some games to play and some kids toys. A pet bed, dishes, toys and leash are also in the cottage. You will find 4 comfy chairs around the fire pit. Star gazing at it's best! There is loads of parking on the property.

Great area for hiking, fishing, crabbing. exploring, swimming, kayaking etc.. Avatar Grove is close by and Botanical Beach is at the end of the roadway, approximately 10 minutes by car. There are three restaurants : Tomi's, The Coastal Kitchen and the Renfrew Pub. You will find a book inside, with all the information you may need. There are fishing charters at the marina that you can hire. There is a very good chance that you will see and hear Killer whales and humpback whales. A fantastic get away from the city. Cozy and romantic, yet ideal for 1 couple, or a couple with kids.
Because Port Renfrew is wild and windy at times, we may experience unforeseen power outages. We have candles inside and a great firepit outside.

Welcome to "Newfie Seaside Retreat", our ocean view cottage. Built in the summer of 2018, it features all the modern comforts of home and sleeps 8 comfortably in 4 separate bedrooms. This spacious 1,400 square foot cottage, complete with pine feature walls and live edge wood accents, offers you a rustic feel while providing you with all the modern luxuries. Upstairs, you will find a fully equipped kitchen, complete with a full size fridge/freezer, gas stove and dishwasher. The dining area can comfortably seat 8 or more. Sit by the cozy gas fire place on those rainy days. The large sliding doors lead out to the spacious covered patio which features a sitting area to take in the ocean, mountain and beach views. There is also a large BBQ. Binoculars are provided to view the many eagles nesting in the adjacent trees. This level has a full bathroom and two bedrooms which have brand new queen and double beds, comfortably sleeping 4 adults.

The lower level has a second bathroom, a third and forth bedroom and full laundry facilities. This is a true 4 bedroom cottage with no pull-out beds in sight! There is a second patio on this level with grassy area for lawn games and a fire pit.

All towels, bedding, linen, soap and shampoo are provided complimentary. Free Wi-Fi is included. Port Renfrew is a world class fishing resort with regular charters leaving from the Pacific Gateway Marina which is located just steps away from the cottage. Restaurants, pubs and gift shops are all within walking distance.

- "I wouldn’t suggest coming in at night via lake cowichan. The road is terribly twisty and fog made it hard to see. Other than that it was an incredible stay. Would have been nice if there was a gift shop and maybe a hot tub. Loved watching the eagles on the trees outside the cabin and got to see a whale at botanical beach! Wear good hiking shoes for botanical beach though.only sharp rocks. Botany Bay is safer for younger kids but botanical beach had more to see in tide pools. Access to ocean is only at marina entrance short walk from cabin. You can also walk to the beach from there. Lots of driftwood for pictures"

Welcome to Sandy Feet Retreat- Port Renfrew!
This brand new luxury 2 bed/1 bath home has everything you need to relax and unwind in this rugged location on the Wild West Coast of Vancouver Island.
There is an open concept area with Dining, Living and Kitchen space all together so that you can take in the incredible views through the floor to ceiling windows, no matter what you are doing! The kitchen is fully stocked including the basic spices, condiments and all the utensils, pots/pans for you to use to cook yourself a nice meal. We also provide coffee and Tea! The living room has a gas fireplace to cozy up near, as well as a 50 inch 4K smart TV with Netflix. Family games are also available. There is also a large dining room table that seats 6 for all your larger family meals.
There are 2 bedrooms – one is arranged with a large King bed and the second bedroom has 2 twin beds. The sofa in the living room also pulls out into a comfortable queen sized sleeping space. The cottage is outfitted with extra pillows and blankets throughout. We even have a crib on hand for those travelling with children under 2.
There is 1 full bathroom with tub and shower that has extra towels on hand and complementary shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
There is also a washer and dryer in the bedroom closet should you need to do a load or 2 of laundry while you are there.
There is a large deck with seating for 6 that includes a gas BBQ, propane firepit and a magnificent ocean and mountain view, perfect for spotting whales, eagles and other wildlife!
There is also free Wifi/ Netflix throughout and board games for those trying to stay away from screen time.
This is the perfect cottage for a staycation, family getaway, family reunion or just with friends!!
Port Renfrew is located just 1.5 hours from Victoria and 2 hours from Nanaimo and is popular for fishing, cycling and hiking. Surfing, paddle boarding and kayaking down the Gordon River is also very popular. There are also many places to hike and explore including the gorgeous Botanical Beach and the old growth of Avatar Grove. Whether it’s ancient tall trees, gorgeous beaches, five-star fishing, surfing, or world famous hiking along the West Coast Trail everything is steps away from your front door.
For the small size of Port Renfrew, there are numerous options to enjoy great food and drinks in the local area. The Renfrew Pub, Coastal Kitchen Cafe, Tomi's Home Cooking, and Bridgeman's Restaurant are all great choices that consistently receive outstanding reviews. A limited selection of groceries including beer, wine and spirits can be purchased at the Port Renfrew General Store (open from 9am-7pm every day). Gas, diesel and propane are available at the new gas station. There are a few cafes and bistros available just minutes away from the cottage. Debit and credit cards are accepted at all major establishments.
It is important to note that there are power outages that occur in Port Renfrew, so please be prepared. Port Renfrew is ruggedly beautiful, and part of it's charm is that it is extremely isolated. A downfall of the isolation, is that if the weather causes a tree to fall on the power lines, or some other incident occurs, power will be out and it may take a few- numerous hours to be repaired by BC Hydro. The power outages are completely out of our control. We do provide LED lanterns for light, and the stove, bbq, and outdoor fireplace will work (light them with the long lighters provided). As well, there should hopefully be enough hot water in the tank to last the outage and the fireplace will still work to keep you warm.
Lastly, it should be noted that Port Renfrew is a developing town and may not be as quiet as expected. We cannot control if there is construction or if a neighbour is maintaining their property during normal working hours. Please be aware and understand that outdoor noise is out of our control and we do not know if and when it will happen.

Our house rules: no smoking/ vaping in the cottage, no pets whatsoever in the cottage, no parties in the cottage.

The Market Store is perfect for those extra items you forget to pick up at the grocery store in Sooke, even has fun stickers!"

The Lair is one of our pet friendly accommodation in Port Renfrew and can accommodate two comfortably or a family of four. This cottage has upgraded to High Speed Internet.
The cottage is equipped with propane cooking stove and propane fireplace. It is furnished with a fully equipped kitchen, queen size bed in a separate bedroom and double hide-a-bed in living area.
The bedroom has Cable T.V, a white noise machine, and lamps with USB plug in's. The living room TV is equipped with blue-ray player, DVD movies, and Netflix. Starlink High Speed Internet for WI-FI is provided.
Has a pack and play playpen, and children's books. Fire Guard screen for the fireplace.
Outside you will find a large front deck with a built-in fire pit, an outdoor heater, BBQ, picnic table and lounge chairs make this place ideal for entertainment.
The Lair also has a long driveway almost 50ft long so can accommodate a boat or any other long vehicles. Has cozy gas fireplace in the family room.
Port Renfrew is in the wilderness, and the power goes out occasionally - Our battery backup system means you can charge your phone and continue to use the internet for up to 2 hours in the event of an outage!

Of course, Netflix and Cable TV is available - in addition to a library of classic DVD's.

The space
Our cottage is a one level 813 sq ft inside unit in a strata fourplex built in 2018. It has two steps up to the front entrance. Two 8 foot sliding doors lead to the outside deck overlooking Port San Juan, Pacific Gateway marina, and Pacific Rim National Park, featuring the Westcoast Trail. The large deck has a propane bbq and propane fire ring. The open concept living area has a fully equipped kitchen, dining table and sitting/tv area. The main bath has a bathtub and washer/dryer, while the ensuite has a walk in shower. Bedrooms come with a queen bed and a daybed that converts to a king. Parking for two vehicles is in front and right of the small garden below the bedroom window.

Other things to note
Port Renfrew is a 2 hour drive from Victoria or Nanaimo. Fairy and Lizard lakes are just a short 10-25 minute drive away. Avatar Grove is a popular hike through old growth forest and is home to Canada's gnarliest tree. Just past Avatar Grove is Big Lonely Doug (Canada's second largest Douglas fir) and the new Eden Grove trail (a short walk past Big Doug). Kayaking, surfing and paddle boarding are other available activities. Amenities include a gas station, EV charging station, small grocery/liquor store, Bridgeman's Bistro, Port Renfrew Pub, Coastal Kitchen (seasonal), Tomi's cafe and seasonal food trucks.

Five minutes of walking from the cottage will get you to the Pacific Gateway Marina if you're going fishing or you want to take in the sea air. Tommy's Home Cooking (The THC Diner) and The Coastal Kitchen Cafe are a five minute walk away if you get tired of your own cooking. And the pub at the PortRenfrew Hotel is maybe a fifteen minute walk. They have food too.

You can get a few basic groceries including beer, wine and the hard stuff at the General Store on Parkinson Road. It's a good idea though to stock up on groceries on your way to Port Renfrew in Sooke or Cowichan Lake if you are travelling from the other direction. Of course everyone takes credit cards, debit cards and that ancient currency, cash.

A few minutes away sits the marina with its oceanfront restaurant Bridgemans. A few minutes further brings you to a stunning sand beach perfect for beachcombing or just taking in the view. Closer to the cabins sits Tomi’s Home Cooking and May’s Ice Cream. Within close driving distance, you can find the Bridgemans, Coastal Cafe, The Renfrew Pub, and the General Store. A few minutes further is Botanical Beach and Botany Bay. Within a 30 min or less radius there is the Juan de Fuca trail, Sombrio Beach and its hidden waterfall, Fairy Lake, Avatar Grove and its stunning old-growth trees and much more. This area has something for everyone - if you love the outdoors Port Renfrew will not disappoint! From walking, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, surfing, swimming, dining, you will not run out of places to explore.

The cottage is accessed with a PIN code on the front door keypad. When you leave, just press the lock icon on the key pad to lock the door. The code will be needed each time you wish to unlock the door. You'll have full access of the cottage and yard. 
If you visit at another cottage and bring dishes, chairs etc. please be sure to return them to their original cottage.

Other things to note
the cottage is nestled in a rainforest, surrounded by the lush beauty of nature. While the hosts make efforts to clear away cobwebs, animal and bird droppings, as well as leaves and debris before guests arrive, they kindly ask guests to understand that the cottage is situated in the habitat of these creatures. Therefore, it's natural for them to rebuild their webs and nests. Appreciating this delicate balance between human habitation and the natural environment adds to the charm of the stay.

There is limited cell service in Port Renfrew, but the cottage has WI-FI. Guest can email, or enable WI-FI calling on their smart phone, or use other application to call such as What's app, or others. There is also a couple pay phone in town if needed. Current cell phone providers that work in the area are Rogers, Fido, Shaw and limited Telus.

Tranquility Cottage is the perfect pet friendly accommodation in Port Renfrew. We can comfortably accommodate two adults or a small family of four. Recently constructed and exquisitely furnished it is the perfect getaway. The cottage sits on approximately 1/4 acre with an oversized two tier deck and gazebo, perfect for family activities.

It is finely appointed, including BBQ, propane fire-pit and everything to make your stay exquisite. The kitchen is set and ready for any meal you can prep.

The space
The fully equipped kitchen includes baking essentials in the event that you want to whip up some muffins! The bedroom has as queen size Tempur-pedic mattress and an oversized duvet. For the little ones or that extra guest there is a memory foam queen sized pull-out sofa in the living room. In the bedroom you will find an LCD TV with Netflix, movies and youtube. There is WIFI throughout the property which will enable you to use WIFI calling and stream your favorite content.

The Cottage is off-grid when it comes to water. We utilize rainwater capture and treat the water prior to its' use in the cottage. You won't likely notice this little extra, but it reduces our environmental impact and we are quite proud of it.

The large deck and grassy area makes for perfect family play time. There are numerous outdoor games available and the cottage is situated where the wild life will come to you. Don't be surprised if you wake up to see Deer or Elk munching on the grass. Also note Port Renfrew is bear country. These wonderful animals tend to stay to themselves but are a real treat when you catch a glimpse of them. PLEASE remember not to leave food or garbage outside and to clean the BBQ as there are bears in the area.

A quick stroll across the street and you will find an ice cream shop, gift shop and Tomi's cafe (please tell Tomi we say hi). Makes losing weight hard while you enjoy your stay. There is also the Pacific Gateway Marina a short 5 minute walk down the hill. From the Marina there's a beautiful walkway to the small beach at Beach Camp where you will also find a wonderful playground for the little ones. On weekends you can purchase an amazing wood fired pizza at Beach Camp. We encourage you to try some.

Heading west you will come across the Coastal Cafe and a little further down the road is the Renfrew Pub, both excellent choices for a bite to eat.

We encourage all our guests to visit Botanical Beach (great storm watching if it's that time of year) or enjoy a wonderful Pacific Northwest Rainforest hike. The trails range from easy to challenging. Also be sure to visit Avatar Grove, this is an easy hike and must see - some of the tallest trees in Canada.

You can pick up the basics at the General Store on Parkinson's Road, including wine, beer and spirits but we recommend you purchase your groceries along the way, either in Sooke or Cowichan Lake depending on which path your travels take you.

All that is left is to enjoy your stay.

Gateway Marina is a full-service marina with daily fishing charters. Trailhead Fish Processing and Seafood Market vacuum packs and flash freezes sport caught fish. Their Seafood Market offers salmon, halibut, tuna and more. The San Jaun Market is the local "everything store" with select groceries, liquor, ice, bait, coffee & more. As well there is a new Gas Station with propane facility.

The space
900 sq ft of living space. 7 skylights and vaulted ceilings flood natural light into the open living kitchen, dining, and living area. Two large sliding glass doors with expansive ocean views. Kitchen comes fully equipped so you can dine in. Two bedrooms - one with a King bed attached to the full master bath. The other bedroom has a Queen bed with a unique half bath. Drawers and night stands provide drawers for you clothing. Their is limited closet space based on the European design. There is a full size washer and dryer in one of the closets for your convenience. There is a flight of stairs up to the cottage. A parking spot is designated in front of the stairs.

We are situated within the West Coast Cottages Development. There is a parking space in front of our cottage. Parking is free and additional vehicles will have to find space within the development and not blocking other owners cottages.

Most amenities like restaurants, marina, pub and beach access are within a short walking distance.

This Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by the undersigned guest (“Guest” or “you” or "yours") and 1262065 B.C. Ltd. DBA Port Renfrew Oceanfront Retreat ("Owner"). This Agreement incorporates by reference the terms and conditions set forth in any Deposit Confirmation Letter that you may have received.

A. Deposit, Payment and Cancellation. The following terms supersede any conflicting payment terms that may appear on VRBO, Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb, or any other vacation rental website.

1. A 50% deposit is due at time of booking.

2. Full payment is due 7 days prior to arrival and will be automatically charged to your credit card on file.

3. Bookings cancelled at least 30 days before the start of stay will receive a 100% refund less $60 non-refundable reservation fee.

4. Bookings cancelled at least 14 days before the start of stay will receive a 50% refund less the $60 non-refundable reservation fee.

5. If the reservation is cancelled within 7 days of arrival, there shall be no refund.

6. The cancellation policy shall remain in effect even if a traveler tests positive for COVID-19, does not receive their test result before the final leg of their trip or is turned away at the airport/ferries due to fever or other symptoms.

7. Should COVID19 restrictions be imposed in your local region or British Columbia after final payment and up until any portion of your stay, you may provide proof of such restriction and reschedule your stay up to 365 days out from your arrival date.

B. House Rules. This reservation is for quiet residential vacation accommodations only and the house rules at each property must be adhered to. Therefore, parties, events, and gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. There shall be no additional occupants beyond the maximum occupancy allowed by the cottage (up to 4 adults and 2 children can be accomodated).

C. Check In/Out Time. Check-in time is 4:00 PM local time. Check-out is required by 11:00 AM on the day of departure. Due to COVID housekeeping requirements, we do not have flexibility to offer late check-outs or early check-ins. Be sure to keep this in mind when making your travel arrangements. If you are in the unit before 3:00 PM on your arrival day or after 11:00 AM on your departure day, there will be a charge equal to one night's rent plus tax.

D. Keys/Lockout Policy. Your check-in instructions with either a key code or keyless entry code will be provided to you prior to your arrival. It is your responsibility to bring this information with you.

E. Amenity Starter Pack. The cottage is equipped with a starter pack of the following items, and guests are responsible for purchasing (or bringing) their own supplies beyond the starter pack: toilet paper (2 rolls per bathroom); paper towels (1 roll); soap; dish soap, for washing dishes by hand; dish soap, for dishwasher; laundry soap, if a washer is in the unit; trash bags (1 in each trash can).

F. Lost and Found Items. Owners are not responsible for lost items. Upon your departure, please thoroughly inspect the Unit for any potential items left behind, including electronics, chargers and clothing. Within 10 days these items can be shipped to you upon request. There will be a $20 service charge plus shipping charges. After 10 days unclaimed articles will be donated to charity.

G. Damage/Loss/Disturbance Policy. The Unit is individually owned and decorated. Please do not remove any furnishings, equipments or items from the unit, including any linen, dishes or other items from the unit. Guest will be solely liable for any additional costs, charges or expenses resulting from any damage, lost or stolen items or excessive check-out cleaning.
The Owner of the Unit will be responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged property belonging to you or to Owner.

The owner will use its best efforts to ensure that all equipment within the unit is in good working order, although the Owner can not guarantee that any equipment will not break down during your stay, and therefore such a breakdown does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustments will be made for any such mechanical failure. In the event of a breakdown, the Owner will use its best efforts to remedy the situation as soon as possible after notification of the breakdown.
Guest understands that there is no guarantee that properties adjacent to the Unit will be free from disturbances, including but not limited to noise or inconvenience from construction, traffic or other guests or neighbors, and any such disturbance shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

Any issue that Guest has with the Unit shall be immediately reported to Owner via the phone number listed in the rental Unit’s directions and entry instructions. Guest understands that the Owner shall have a reasonable amount of time to restore the Unit to acceptable conditions, and that any issues presented to Owner by Guest not prevent reasonable and habitable occupancy of the Unit shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give the Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

H. Guest’s Responsibilities and Pet Policy. Guest shall not:

1. Make any alterations to the Unit or damage the Unit or its contents.
2. Bring any hazardous substance into the Unit.
3. Violate any laws or cottage rules applicable to use of the Unit.
4. Disturb any other occupants of properties in the vicinity of the Unit.
5. Bring any pets into the Unit without Owner’s written consent. Guests who do not adhere to this responsibility will lose all or a portion of their damage deposit.

6. Use the Unit for any commercial purpose.

I. Liability. The owner shall not be liable for any accidents or Personal injury by Guests while they are in the condo or on the property, or while they are using items from the cottage at the beach. Guest shall defend, indemnify, and hold Owner harmless from any property damage or personal injury resulting from negligent or willful conduct by Guest or by any person occupying the Unit at Guest’s invitation.

J. Credit Card On File. Guest’s credit card must be on file and will be charged to cover cleaning and related expenses over and above those covered by the Security Deposit. Such related expenses may include, without limitation, charges for damages to the Unit or its contents and/or missing personal property belonging to Owner.

K. Security Deposit. If this reservation requires a refundable security deposit, it will be refunded to you within 14 days of departure assuming there is no damage to the Unit, its contents, or missing items.

L. No Smoking. British Columbia prohibits smoking in all enclosed or partially enclosed areas open to the public. This includes the smoking of cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, cigars, medical marijuana, and all illegal substances. All Units are subject to this law. Manager will keep your credit card information on file. If a smoking violation occurs, either a fine of $500.00 will be charged to your credit card or your security deposit will be retained.

M. Owners Right To Enter. Manager reserves the right to enter the unit with 24 hours’ notice to Guest for any reason Owner deems necessary to service or inspect the Unit on the Owner's behalf.

N. Remedies for Hold-Over/Breach. Guest shall vacate the Unit at the end of its rental period. In the event that Guest continues to occupy the Unit beyond the time authorized by Owner, Guest shall be considered as a hold-over tenant and shall be liable for rent at twice the rental amount, pro-rated on a daily basis. Should Guest so exceed the rental period, or otherwise breach this Agreement, Owner shall be entitled to immediate possession of the Unit, and shall be entitled to evict Guest by any lawful means including by proceedings in a court of competent jurisdiction.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND SIGNATURE

Please review this Agreement in its entirety. It will govern your rental arrangement and legally binds you ("customer") to the terms set forth above. This rental is conditioned expressly upon your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notice requirements set forth above.

Long walks on the beach, exploring the tide pools at botanical beach, eating out at the many local restaurants, or grabbing a takeout pizza from Piero Pizza right at Beach Camp! Lizard lake is a 20 minute drive away, and you can swim in warm water and catch lizards if you dare! Or hire a fishing charter and spend the day catching Ling Cod, Salmon, and Halibut. Hike to avatar grove and search for the gnarliest tree in BC. So much to do and explore. We know you're going to love it here!

Therefore, it's natural for them to rebuild their webs and nests. Appreciating this delicate balance between human habitation and the natural environment adds to the charm of the stay.

The space
Enjoy wild luxury in this beautiful pet friendly oceanfront rental with three bedroom, two bath, character-filled cottage with all the amenities of home, and access to some of best fishing and hiking on the west coast of Vancouver Island.

The open concept upper level provides breathtaking oceanfront views from every angle. After dinner, sit back and relax in the cozy and comfortable living room while you watch television, enjoy a movie on Netflix or simply get lost watching the flames of your very own propane fireplace. An assortment of card and board games, and books are available for use. Stroll out onto the deck and look to the west to take in the sunset, with a beer or wine on the top deck. There is a full bathroom on this floor.

On the lower level, there is another full bathroom, laundry and three bedrooms. From the two front bedrooms, you can take in the ocean views without having to get out of your queen-sized bed. Each of these rooms includes a walk-out to a covered slate patio. The third bedroom offers two twin beds for greater flexibility in sleeping arrangements. Every bed includes two types of pillows and a comfortable duvet to make sure you sleep well and are ready to enjoy another beautiful day in Port Renfrew.

Wickham's Wake has three outdoor living areas for you to enjoy. On the upper level, enjoy a wall to wall deck with a panoramic view of the inlet, trees and ocean, all from the comfort of the adirondack chairs provided. On the lower level, a covered slate patio is perfect for your morning coffee or afternoon read. Finally, walk down the cedar tree steps to the cliff-side lower patio, which offers unequalled views and a fire pit for a night time marshmallow roast under the stars. The lower two patios are accessible from stairs outside the cottage or through the two bedrooms on the lower level.

The space
Port Renfrew is a very special place with lots of beautiful scenery and outdoor activities. Overlooking the ocean and mountains our home gives easy access to wonderful beaches and spectacular old growth forests. This friendly area is a treat for nature lovers and is the perfect place for exciting activities or deep relaxation.

Guest access
Guests have access to all main floor spaces. Crawl space is accessible only in emergencies.

Other things to note
Port Renfrew is a very special place. Guests will see that the area is developing rapidly. There is now a gas station in town, the General Store is expanding its stock all the time, and there are more options than previously for eating out.

Cell coverage is not available yet so guests might want to set up wifi calling before they arrive in Port Renfrew.

The power sometimes goes out for short periods. If it does, we have flashlights and emergency lights, a gas barbecue on the balcony and a gas fireplace in the living room.

This newly built cottage (2018) in Port Renfrew has 3 bedrooms, 2 fully equipped kitchens and 2 full size bathrooms. It has spectacular ocean and mountain views with 2 fire tables and a gas barbeque on the balcony.

The space
You have the option of booking just the upper suite (2 bedrooms and a sofa bed) or the entire suite (both A and B) which sleeps up to 10. Both suites have their own separate entrance, as well as a an optional connecting door inside. Free Wi-Fi is included.

The upper level is a 2 bedroom suite with a living room that has a sofa bed and gas fireplace. A private ocean view balcony is equipped with a propane fire pit, BBQ and sitting area.

The lower level is a 1 bedroom suite with a living room that has a sofa bed and electric fireplace. The south facing backyard deck is equipped with a BBQ, sitting area and wood burning fire pit.
