The beds in our Cottage are a Queen size in the bedroom and Sofa-bed in the living room is also a Queen sized, as well, with a new memory foam mattress. There is a propane fire pit on the deck, as well as a covered barbecue area.

We just installed a gas heater indoors, as well as a new gas stove, for those days when the power goes out, so you will be warm, cozy and can at least cook.

There is a General Store down the road, but you will want to do your grocery shopping beforehand. They have basic necessities, lots of snack food, and a small liquor selection. If you forget something basic, they probably have it!

There will be a $300 Security Deposit PreAuthorized on your credit card, prior to your Check-in.

Welcome to Wynter’s Cabin, a cozy and private ocean front getaway with fire pit right on the river mouth located in the heart of Beach Camp.

The Cabin
Our 1 bedroom cabin is newly renovated and tastefully decorated with local art. It includes a king sized bed and ensuite with a walk in shower, a fully equipped kitchen and outdoor barbecue perfect for a romantic couples retreat. There is also a small loft that could accommodate an extra guest.

Location
Port Renfrew is known as the Tall tree Capital of Canada and the Gateway to the Pacific.
Access to the West Coast Juan De Fuca Trails, Avatar Grove, Lonely Doug, Botanical Beach and more hidden local secrets.
The beach and park is just a minute walk away, and less than a few minutes to stores, beaches, hiking trails, and dining out to local restaurants
Or if you prefer you can relax on your patio watching the wildlife, waves and memorable sunsets.

Please know that there is no cell service unless your on the Rogers network there’s 5G, in Port Renfrew but there is access to Wifi on the property and in specific locations around town.

The Space:
This quaint cedar cabin has everything you would need to make it "home away from home". A fully stocked kitchen, with a full-size fridge and stove. A huge oversized deck to relax on, or perhaps barbeque up a fresh salmon catch, and then settle in by the stunning outdoor stone fireplace. This is a quiet and peaceful cabin community of owners and guests - there is a palpable sense of tranquility whispered in the trees and in the distant crashing of the waves.
The cabin is professionally cleaned with a full hotel-grade linen change between each guest.
Guest access:
Guests will be given the code to access to a secure lock box for keys one day prior to arrival. There is parking for 2 vehicles, or one vehicle and one boat/trailer. Access to Pacific Gateway Marina is just a minute away.
There is a shared community laundry space available to cabin guests for longer stays (1 week or longer). There is a TV with Firestick for streaming (Netflix, Apple TV) and a DVD player and great selection of movies.
Kayaks are for owner use only, thank you.

The main cabin is one bedroom/one bathroom. Please note the Bunkhouse is not attached to main cabin, but does have heat and lights, and a very solid and comfortable twin bunkbed (may not be suitable for guests with young children - probably more suited to guests 12 yrs and up).
Guest will have use of firewood, for use at the cabin only.

Port Place Cabin is located amongst Wild Coast Cottages in the heart of Port Renfrew. Whether you are in town for fishing, outdoor adventure or a relaxing getaway, Port Place Cabin offers a central location for you and your guests. The cabin is located moments from Pacific Gateway Marina and Bridgemans Bistro. Other amenities within walking distance include the Renfrew Pub, Government Wharf, the General Store and other various eateries.
The space
This one bedroom, one bathroom cabin, located on a quiet street has a King Size Bed in the Master and option for a Queen Murphy Bed in the living room. Relax by the Propane Fireplace indoors alongside a full size TV with Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime. A full kitchen is available including a propane range, full size fridge and complementary coffee bar. The spacious outdoor deck has a wrap around child/dog proof railing that includes covered areas for sitting around the fire table, full size BBQ, crab cooking setup and wood burning fire pit just off the patio.

Guest access
Cabin access is private and the driveway can accommodate one full size vehicle. There is plenty of additional communal parking alongside the cabin and throughout the Wild Coast Cottages. Guests will have access to the full cabin during their stay.
Other things to note
A guide to use the propane accessories will be provided in the guestbook located in the cabin along with other helpful tools. In the event of a power outage you will still be able to stay warm and use the range for cooking.

Rachael's Retreat is a one bedroom cabin that offers a tranquil basecamp for exploring the Port Renfrew area. Centrally located in Port Renfrew at the "Wild Coast Cottages" community, a recreational cabin community zoned for short term rentals. The cabin is within walking distance of the amenities of Port Renfrew. Port Renfrew offers many opportunities to experience the natural wonders of the surrounding beaches, parks and recreation sites.

One of the most popular rentals in PR, the cabin features an extra large deck with adjacent outdoor stone fireplace, a relaxing place to unwind under the stars and fairy lights, and ancient trees overhead. Recent updates include new furniture and mattress, and new hot water tank.

----There is some active construction in our Cottage Community which happens Monday thru Thursday but is a distance from our Cottage. The crew is respectful of guests and their work should not impact your stay at all.

Parking is available in front of our Cottage.

If you are lucky to be in Renfrew during a storm and the power goes out, you will stay warm with our gas fireplace and be able to light the stovetop manually. We have candles and flashlights for your use. So just sit back and enjoy! If you have never experienced one, there is nothing quite like a West Coast Storm and the sound of the rain on a Tin Roof!
