In the queen-sized, south facing master bedroom, you will find not only an ensuite soaker tub but also a glass enclosed shower. The second bathroom also features a glass enclosed shower and heated floors. A second bedroom, also south facing, features a queen bed.

The deluxe kitchen features granite countertops and full size stainless steel appliances including a gas top range, electric oven, microwave, and dishwasher. The kitchen island seats 3 and the dining area seats 6 with table settings for 8. A full range of spices is provided.

In suite laundry is available with detergents provided for your use.

Password protected WIFI and cable is included.

The home is clean, modern and quiet, with a very well equipped kitchen and BBQ, and a great air conditioning unit that was particularly appreciated given our summer stay. The property is a short walk from the beach, and we preferred the location to being closer to beachside in the area because it is more quiet, while being accessible to the waterfront. Our host communicated kindly, professionally, and was very responsive to questions, attending to some specific questions/accommodations relating to arrival and departure given the fact that I was traveling with older parents. The cottage is over 1100 sq.ft. complete with all the amenities of home. The main floor has a spacious living room with fireplace and TV, separate dining room with four chairs, full kitchen with eating bar and stools for convenience. The main bedroom has king size bed and main bathroom is four piece. There is a washer and dryer on the main floor. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The loft has twin beds and TV with full bathroom. The deck at the back is spacious with table, chairs and BBQ for your evening enjoyment. The front deck has a small table and chairs as well. There is storage for bikes, golf clubs and other items beside the house. The parking is in the driveway and in front of our cottage. There are visitor parking spots just steps away. There is internet and cable in the cottage. A 15 minute walk brings you to beautiful Rathtrevor Beach where you will find bathroom facilities, and picnic tables in the shade with a huge tidal beach to enjoy! A 5minute walk to mini golf and bumper cars for the kids. Parksville city centre is 5 minutes by car. Coombs is a delightful place to visit to see the Goats on the Roof....just a 30 minutes drive. Englishman River is a short drive for a lovely hike in the woods. The North Island Wildlife recovery centre is well worth a visit with animals rescued and given a second chance!

Our cottage can be your home away from home with top end appliances, quartz countertops and full amenities. There are 2 bedrooms and a loft with a pullout couch. You can comfortably sleep 6 people. The master suite has a luxurious king size bed. The great room has lots of space to relax and has a mounted flat screen smart TV. Our guests have thoroughly enjoyed relaxing on the large back deck, enjoying a moment of peace on the comfy garden swing, The loft is a versatile space to relax, sleep and also hosts is a second big screen TV. Our cottage is also fully equipped with all the amenities such as built in air-conditioning, laundry, and glassed in shower. The cottage backs onto the Grotto for the Tigh Na Mara Resort.

Our cottage is approximately an 8 minute walk from Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park entrance. The park has endless beaches that are great for young children with long stretches of sand and numerous trails to hike on. There is a large children’s play area at Rathtrevor Beach and they often run activities during the summer season. For the adults in the group we have two spas within walking distance. Tranquil Day Spa is a part of the Oceanside Village Resort and next door to our resort is the Grotto Spa at Tigh Na Mara. We have included links below for your convenience of booking any spa treatments while you are staying.

There are many sites near this cottage that make this area the most desirable place in the center island to stay. The complex has a great bistro restaurant as well as a hair salon, and spa. Amenities include an indoor heated pool and hot tub right at the resort for your own use. There are also gym facilities in the same building as the pool and hot tub.

We are a pet friendly cottage since we have dogs in our lives as well. We simply ask that you take care of tiding up after you pet and do have supplies here for that purpose.

- "Lovely cabin, Judy has every box checked and everything one need is at your fingertips. The kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with coffee, tea, cream, milk, and sugar, cooking oil, salt, and pepper. There was even some welcoming goodies!! There is a wonderful assortment of pots, frying pans, casserole dishes, cookie sheets and cake pans. The washrooms are also well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper and plenty of towels. There is even laundry soap and dryer sheets, and a folding wagon to trundle your goodies about. There are several lovely walking paths and Rath Trevor is only a short walk away. Although we didn’t have any children with us I think this would be an excellent place to bring children. I appreciate that our dogs were welcome to be with us, it makes traveling much easier to bring them. Judy is an excellent, and very kind host, she makes everything extremely accessible and is always very warm, welcoming, and very prompt to address any concerns one may have.
