We have a direct view of Rathtrevor Beach from this 7plex in Tanglewood Pl, Parksville.

Tanglewood is a community of privately owned units adjacent to Rathtrevor Provincial Park and we are 1 minute or 2 of walking distance to the beach access to the famous Rathtrevor Beach. The best part is that you will have this great view right from your home away from home! Sit back, chill and enjoy the view!

The view: We are positive that you will fall in love with our home. And not only that…you will wake up to this gorgeous view right from the Master bedroom on our king sized bed. The master bedroom also has direct access to the deck for you to enjoy the serenity and the breathtaking view of the beach with the beautiful Arbutus tree from a distance on your left overlooking the beach. Sip your coffee in the morning to this soothing view.

The space: We have repainted the entire place to soothing Benjamin Moore colors. This is a 2 br 2 bath apartment of about 1100 sq ft. for your enjoyment.

The deck: BBQ grill with 2 lounge chairs as you soak in the view from a quiet distance awaits you.

Gourmet kitchen: It has been updated to white quartz countertop on the perimeter and quartz backsplash for a refreshing white kitchen look! In contrast, the kitchen's island is in beautiful black granite giving the entire kitchen a modern yet coastal feel. Stainless Steel appliances and with everything you could possibly need from coffee maker, toaster, waffle maker, blender,. Fridge, gas range, microwave and dishwasher for your convenience.
Dishes, serving bowls, pots and pans, cutleries, wine glasses and basic kitchen stuff are provided.

Furniture: Beautifully decorated to make your time away from home as comfortable and as relaxing as possible.

Linens and beds: You will surely have a refreshing sleep with our. King sized for the Master bedroom and queen for the 2nd room with varying degrees of softness for your pillows The Italian made sofa bed also has a memory foam mattress for your enjoyment if needed. Extra pillows, comforter and blankets are available. Soft linens and towels are also provided for your use during your stay.

If you don't like the morning light to wake you up (some people love it and some don't), please bring sleeping eye masks with you. We have blinds in the entire place even for the very top ones.

Bathrooms: The ensuite is a 5 piece bathroom with a soaker tub and a glass door shower on the other side. The 2nd bathroom has glass door shower. Heated floors for your comfort for both bathrooms. White soft and fluffy bath towels as well as big beach towels are also provided. Dryer, hand soap, tissue and toilet paper are available for you.

For families with toddlers: We have Graco play pen

Business: For those of you needing a work desk, we have one in the 2nd bedroom.

Laundry: Front load Samsung washer and dryer are available for your use. Iron and ironing board as well if needed.

Road to your Oasis: It takes a ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay, West Van to Departure Bay in Nanaimo to get here. The BC ferry ride usually takes a short hour and 40 minutes. Then about 25 minute drive from Departure Bay to Tanglewood.

If you are coming from Vancouver downtown, the drive to Horseshoe Bay could take about 30-40 minutes. Give yourself ample time for the ferry. I strongly suggest for you to book reservations so you don't have to line up for the ferry. All you need is to make sure to be there at the latest 30 minutes prior to sailing time. If you're flying in from Comox airport, you can rent a car from there and be in Parksville withkn 45 minutes.

The beach: Rathtrevor is about 2 km of beach walk and you'll see Rathtrevor Provincial Park on your left. Low tide happens quite often so your walk could be as long as you feel like it.

What else : ) Toys and game boards are available as well as 2 smart TVs! Wifi available. Well we're hoping that you will be spending more time bonding with each other than being glued to those electronic gadgets that some of us can't live without. : ) Guilty one here too!

Beach toys: Of course, beach chairs and a beach wagon to accommodate your beach stuff as well as a cooler.

Parking: 1 parking right across from the building beside guest parking. Parking is labeled #24.

Beach access: As the road starts to slope down from where the 2 storey building is, you will be walking past a few townhouses and the access would be on your far right. It usually takes a minute or two. No public access to this.

Interaction with guests

You can always reach me via text messages, email or through the Ring doorbell/cam that we have.

Other things to note:

We charge an extra $25/person/night after 4 registered guests including kids from 1 yr old and up to a maximum of 6 guests only including kids 1 and up.

We request that you load the dishes, pots and pans and please make sure the dishwasher is running before you leave. This will really help the cleaners to stay on time for our next guests.

For families the Parksville Beach has lots to offer, from sandy beaches, excellent children's playground or walks among the flowers and forest trees. Rathtrevor Beach is just a bit further down the road, with miles of sand and huge old ancient forest trees. You can go to Coombs, wonder through quaint little shops and Visit Goats On The Roof, a delightful grocery store with goodies from around the world.

There is just so much to see and do in our immediate area it would take many days just to do a few. Lots of golf courses, fishing events, winter sports, hockey arena and curling arena in Parksville, fishing derbies in the summer, boat cruises, island hopping, and local summer events such as a rodeo, and small local fairs. there are weekly farmers markets and local museums to visit. You sure can keep busy on your vacation while staying at Cindy's Getaway.

This lovely 2-bedroom suite has everything you need for your Parksville vacation. Our Airbnb is within walking distance to several popular restaurants, grocery store, and parks. The world famous Parksville beach, as well as Coombs, Cathedral Grove, and Rathtrevor beach are just a short drive away. An ideal base to explore all of the Oceanside area.
The space
The space includes 2 bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed and dresser. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. The bathroom has a full sized tub and shower (note that there are two steps up to the bathroom so not suitable for persons with mobility issues). Living room has a comfy sectional and tv with Netflix and most other subscription services included. There is also a private covered patio with a couple chairs so you can relax outside no matter what the weather is.

Guests will have access to the entire suite and patio except for one storage closet and the utility closet.
Other things to note
The suite shares a wall with our home and as we are a family with young children there can be some noise transfer during the day. Nights are always quiet though!

The suite can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests & features modern furniture and decor, a fire place, patio & BBQ. This oceanfront resort overlooks Rathtrevor Beach, giving guests direct access to miles of sandy beach. Pack a picnic lunch and spend the day exploring the vast shoreline and scenic woodland trails. The area is known for its stunning ocean views and sunsets.

The primary bedroom is fitted with a king bed. The second bedroom has two twin beds and the pull-out couch in the living room will sleep 1 guest.

Potential for noise
The guest suite is attached to our home, below another Airbnb guest suite. Close to downtown, so city noises are expected. The heat pump located below the window may produce noise. We live in the house with two school-aged kids, we aren't overly loud-but we do live here.

Some spaces are shared
The backyard is a grass space shared with us. You'll have a private patio to lounge in. Our school-aged kids may be on the trampoline or playing in the yard. Please clean up after your pet.

Our complete 1750 square foot Beach House space that sleeps 4 comfortably is available at any time during the winter! This gorgeous beach house, with beautiful beach views, offers free Wi-Fi! It has 2 bedrooms, each equipped with its own queen-sized bed and sofa. The bathroom for this unit is uniquely placed between both bedrooms and requires passing through a bedroom to access.
The Mega-Suite has one full bathroom with soaking tub and shower and offers an additional 2 piece bathroom. A washer and dryer and full kitchen are available for your personal use. A/C and Central Heating are on hand to keep you cozy during high and low temperatures.

The inside of unit was clean and had all the necessary tools for cooking which was nice. They do tell you on the online advertisement that you have to walk through another bedroom to access the bathroom and it was odd, but we made the best of it....at least we had a heads up!! Overall, for the price we paid, I would definitely stay here again 😊"

If there are remnants of shellfish on the property, you will be charged an additional $500 cleaning fee.

When checking-out, please remember to,

- Tidy suite, load and run the dishwasher, and wash the throw blankets from the couch if they were used during your stay.
- If you used the pull-out couch, remove the bed sheets and mattress cover and re-assemble couch.
- Take the garbage and recycling to the bins located under the stairs.
- Sign out of your Apps and streaming accounts, such as Netflix, Disney+, etc.
- Please take any left-over food with you when checking out of the house.
- Upon departure, turn off all the lights inside the suite, close and lock windows and doors, and turn off the fireplace. Turn off fans and turn down the heat.

We are minutes to both highway 4A and 19 giving easy access for tourist attractions or business use. Owners reside on the property but the Carriage House suite is separately dethatched. A wonderful sundeck is your to enjoy overlooking the big leaf maples and towering fir trees. Rest and relaxation awaits.

This modern 1 bedroom suite is part of a 4 plex (with other rentals available) in beautiful Parksville, BC, which is within walking distance to the Parksville Community Beach, Englishman River Estuary, restaurants, and shopping. We are a short drive to Coombs Market and Nanaimo City Center. This suite is perfect for all ages with parks nearby and many other amenities.

This suite is newly renovated with an enclosed courtyard (photos coming soon) for indoor outdoor living.
