Just a 10 minute walk down to the beach, White Rock Pier, and Marine Drive. The suite is open and airy with solid maple floors throughout, overheight ceilings, and expansive windows overlooking the patio, garden area, and peekaboo views towards the Pacific Ocean and San Juan Islands. The space
This large open concept suite (approx 400 sqft) is split between the bedroom and living areas with a separate ensuite bath. The bedroom contains a queen size pillow top bed, with a luxurious hypoallergenic duvet and pillows. The pillows and mattress are protected with hypoallergenic casings for added comfort. A large armoire with drawers and luggage rack provide great storage space.
Living area has new oversized loveseat and chair with dining bar top table for two. 50" tv with Netflix and full cable complete the space.
Built in to the wall is the kitchenette (no stove/oven) where guests will find a microwave, small fridge, coffee maker, toaster, kettle. Dishes, glasses, and utensils such as wine opener, scissors, can opener, are also available.
Spacious ensuite bath provides ample counter space and under sink storage. Also, under the sink guests will find dish soap/cloths
Outside, guests can enjoy the private patio with western exposure, making it a bright and sun soaked space. Filled with lush flowers (seasonal) makes for a perfect spot for barbecuing and enjoying a meal.

Access is off of lane. Guests will also have access to a parking space (if needed) in the back of house. The lane is off of foster between prospect and buena vista, drive down to the end of the lane to the green house, the middle parking spot is for guests. The entrance to the suite is off of the patio.

First off is: the beach is not the pier, and the pier is not the beach. VRBO are deceptive idiots. We are not 15 minutes from the beach, we are a 15 minute walk to the pier. We are a one minute walk to the beach, as you can see from the photos. Just wanted to get that straight, since VRBO is not listening to home owners (me) who has reported this issue repeatedly. Save your money, book direct with It's All Good in White Rock.
Fantastic, private location with the beach in front and the ravine out back. It is a one of a kind vacation accommodation that can not be beat. A beautiful ground floor two bedroom suite with ocean views and reserved off street parking for two cars directly in front of the suite. Step inside the private entrance from the huge patio which is for your exclusive use. The patio has an ocean view and includes a propane BBQ with a side burner and both dining and lounging spaces. Besides being just steps from the beach and the start of the promenade, there is a fantastic ravine with easy hiking trails directly behind the house, which will take you to just 4 blocks from uptown White Rock. The start of dozens of restaurants along Marine Drive is just an 8 to 10 minute level stroll along the beach from the house. The famous White Rock Pier is exactly one kilometer away.
This 1200 SF home is nicely laid out, with comfortable furnishings and beautifully decorated. The large, recently renovated kitchen features a generous amount of cupboards and counter space. If you like to cook, you will be very pleased with how well stocked it is. There is a deep double sink, full size fridge/freezer, electric range and a dishwasher. The dining area comfortably seats ten when the table is expanded and has a full on, close view of the ocean from the dining area. There is plenty of seating in the living room area. A cozy gas fireplace completes the great room space. Both of the bedrooms and bathrooms have new luxury vinyl plank flooring. One bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed, with nice bedding. It also has a large closet with mirrored doors. There is an updated full bath with a soaker tub/shower and a stacking washer and dryer right across the hall from this bedroom. The second bedroom also has a comfortable king size bed and a single size fold out cot. This bedroom has it's own updated ensuite bath with a walk in shower.

- "Good place to do our day trips from." - "Upon booking this site, I had no communication with the host, neither by text, email nor phone call. Upon arrival, still no communication neither by text, email nor phone. I called VRBO call centre located in the Philippines and they too could not contact host. I was on this call for nearly two hours. The best they could do was offer me lodging for one night, even though my reservation was for two nights. I insisted they find me a location in White Rock but they kept offering me places twenty minutes away. As I had no way of getting there except via taxi or Uber, they were not willing to pay for transportation there. This process took nearly two hours. Maria Lourdes kept repeating the same thing over and over. I must commend her for sticking to the VRBO script. Now I have to fight for my refund! How can this be in question when the service I paid for was not provided?! It makes me question whether I will ever use VRBO again. And you can be sure I’m telling all my contacts about this experience. Overall experience, horrible."

Near beach, ocean-side restaurants, shopping-mall, parks. Downtown Vancouver: 45 min. Vancouver Airport: 35 min. Close: Softball City Sports Surrey. No ocean view.
The space
We are close to White Rock beach but do not have an ocean view. Close to bus route and downtown shopping area. White Rock is on the border to the USA, Washington State. Our property is a 10 minute drive to the Peace Arch Border crossing. The suite is new and modern. Great WiFi, and Free Netflix, free Shaw TV channels on a 65" TV. There is a romantic electric fireplace that can emit heat or only ambiance. The suite does not have a view, but White Rock beach is walking distance away (can be a challenge because of steep downhill slope). There is a security safe large enough for 15" laptop.
King size bed. The apartment sleeps 2 people and we do not allow sleeping on the couch.

You will have the whole apartment to yourself, with a separate front door and auto lock, plus self check-in. (Note: Garden area at the back of our house is Private.)
Other things to note
We are walking distance to public tennis courts, the public pool and close to wonderful golf courses. Great restaurants line the ocean front area and White Rock beach is a well hidden treasure (go as far west as you can to see eagles). We are very close to the USA border (Peace Arch Crossing -- 10 min drive). The apartment is a few blocks away from SOFTBALL CITY in South Surrey. There are wonderful outlet shopping stores at Morgan Crossing (10 min drive), where we have a Banana Republic, Aldo etc. There is also a Walmart, Superstore, Home Depot, Winners and some great restaurants.
