THE SPACE
Bright & roomy upper floor of a quiet non-smoking suburb house. The master bedroom has two twin beds that are either put together as a king size or kept separate, as desired. The en-suite has a toilet, wash basin and shower stall. The main washroom has the same but it is more spacious. There are two more bedrooms, each with a single bed. All beds have a firm 12" memory foam mattress. In addition, a common access living room and fully-equipped kitchen, even a small fitness room with a treadmill, elliptical exerciser and recumbent stationary bike.
DAILY SERVICE
Trash and recyclables are collected daily. Basic supplies are checked and re-stocked as needed: soap, paper towels, salt & pepper, etc.
PARKING
Free parking is provided on premises, on the left side of the driveway. We can accommodate up to two vehicles. Security cameras monitor the parking and entrance of the house (as well as off limit outdoor areas).
YOUR HOSTS
Your hosts are on the ground floor, separate yet almost always available in case you need anything. But if you don't need them, you don't need to see them.
HOUSE RULES
- Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property.
- No visitors, registered guests only.
- Pets may be allowed if declared in the booking request (maximum two).
- Quiet time is from 10 PM to 6 AM when guests are asked to keep voices and TV volume reasonable to respect all occupants' sleep.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
This is a safe and quiet residential area with little traffic. Restaurants and shopping abound all along Scott Road (1.2 km away).
If you have business in Surrey, Delta or White Rock, you will have no bridge to cross so it will be quick and easy to reach your destination.
If you have business in Richmond, you will cross the Alex Fraser bridge, a 6-lane crossing that is busy during rush hour but rarely ever blocked.
If you have business in Vancouver, please be aware that rush hour can delay your commute: it can take an hour to reach downtown. It only takes half as long if you drive outside of rush hour.
GETTING AROUND
In the suburbs, you need a car. Public transit is nearby but not very convenient. Outside rush hour, you will be within a thirty-minute drive from the airport, the ferry and the cities of Vancouver and Richmond to the West, from Coquitlam and Port Moody to the North, from Langley and the Cloverdale Rodeo grounds to the East, from Crescent beach, White Rock beach and the US border crossing to the South, from a lot of places in the Lower Mainland area. Visitors driving from the US will find us approximately half way between the border crossing and the city of Vancouver.
While it is best to drive from our suburb, bus routes run a few blocks away from the house. You can also park and ride at three nearby Skytrain stations to visit downtown and other areas along the train route, all the way to the Sea Bus that ferries foot passengers across the Burrard Inlet to North Vancouver. Transit maps for trains and buses can be found on the "BC Translink" web page.

Tsawwassen Mills/Commons malls are a 10 min drive away. Cascades Casino is only 3kms down the road.
This private suite is located on the rear of our home and has a separate entrance. The suite is all on the ground level with only 2 steps up to the entryway. We live on the premises and are available if needed but you also have your privacy. We are located in a quiet residential neighbourhood and it is best suited to guests seeking a peaceful getaway. The suite is attached to our main residence and is not suitable for parties or lively entertaining.
Please note this listing is not able to accommodate pets/animals. The suite has a separate entrance but is attached to the main house where we live. We have a young child with a dog phobia and family members with severe allergies that use this space. It's a wonderful property with nearly all possible amenities. You'll love it. It is one of the most beautiful properties in the whole neighborhood. Brand new construction and appliances. - "The only minor difficulty we had was while we were trying to unlock the door via lockbox, however we soon learned we did it wrong, no fault of the owner. The space was snug, rather spacious, clean, and overall perfect for our stay." - "This is a decent place to stay for the price. It was clean, but not pristine. The rental was decorated nicely and they have made effort to make it upscale. (Bidet, fancy sinks, nice appliances.) There are a few things that knock it down a star though: No lamps at all, just overhead lights. Linens and towels were clean, but had to be fished out of a pile in the laundry room and from the dryer. Access code was not actually text in the app, it was photoshop'd onto a picture within the details of the location. Wifi access as well. There's no place to sit and eat really, except for two very tall bar chairs that put your plate at the same level as your belt. No instructions given for checking out from the host, nor any kind of "welcome book" available. Parking was not protected in any way, and we often came back to find that the parking out front had just been taken up by random cars. There's some pots and pans, but it seems somewhat haphazard. BUT all this is kind of minor, and the place was clean enough, the rooms comfortable, and there's a TV in each room as well as the living area. A very good value."

This is a recently renovated 1 bedroom apartment with access to a wonderful shared garden area with many amenities including a fire pit and outdoor seating. The apartment contains a King bed in the bedroom, pull out king sofa in the living room and a large bathroom with soaker tub and separate shower. Large flat screen smart TV to catch up on your fgavorite shows. Relax in this peaceful and stylish space to enjoy fresh air, sunshine and nature. 7 minutes walk to Tsawwassen beach. 6 minutes drive to Centennial beach and Boundary bay where you can catch crabs by hand. 8 minutes drive to Tsawwassen mills, the largest shopping mall in Tsawwassen. 30 minute drive to Vancouver airport. 45 minutes drive to downtown Vancouver. 2 minutes walk to public transport. A cozy polace to stay for short or long visits.

The property owner is super welcoming and tries hard to be very accommodating. She made homemade dumplings and hot rice cereal for us. There was no stove but she had an electric wok for us to use. Overall, the garden was an oasis and we spent most of our time out there. We didn’t have access to the gazebo though because she is building a coffee house out back and her supplies are stored in the gazebo."

This is a master Bedroom in a Secondary Suite with attached private bathroom and a walkin closet. You can enter and exit the suite anytime. Bedroom Door has a separate lock. Kitchen, Laundry and living area are shared spaces with the guest in the other room of the suite.

- "My husband and I made a quick overnight trip to the mainland for a concert in Vancouver and wanted to be close to the Tsawwassen ferry terminal for Sam early sailing. We only spent about 6 hours in the rental suite to sleep, but it suited our needs perfectly. There is a bit of sound transfer between the bedroom and the neighbouring suit, but given our short stay, there weren’t any issues. The host was very kind and was quick to respond. She graciously allowed us a very early check-in and kindly showed us around. Her back is a wonderful outdoor space (open for guests to enjoy) and is clearly a labour of love!"

The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials and there is a welcoming supply of coffee/tea, cream and sugar for your enjoyment.

If you’re traveling with children, they are welcome to use the small playground area on the property. We kindly ask that it be used respectfully and left clean for others to enjoy.
Please note: The upper level of the home is private and not accessible to guests.

Check-in & Check-out: Check-in is from 3:00 PM onwards, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Please let us know in advance if you require any flexibility.
Parking: Free parking is available on the street directly in front of the property. Please be mindful of local parking signs.
Noise: We kindly ask guests to keep noise to a minimum during the evenings and early mornings. We live upstairs with a toddler, and the neighborhood is quiet and family-friendly. Your consideration is greatly appreciated!
Pets: Unfortunately, we do not allow pets to ensure comfort for all guests, especially those with allergies.
Accessibility: The suite is located on the ground level with above-ground windows, making it easy to access for most guests.
