It was very clean with excellent bathroom and the kitchen is equipped to make a reasonable meal if eating at property like we did to save food expenses. Welcome to this brand new fully refurbished, 550sf, one bedroom basement suite that has a lot to offer, rivalling most boutique hotel suites. However, we’ll let the pictures do the talking.

Located on a quiet street, in West Maple Ridge just a 45 minute drive from Vancouver (perfect for a weekend getaway from the city). Visitors can easily access downtown Vancouver via a relaxing ride on the Westcoast Express (commuter train Monday-Friday) to reach the convention centre, cruise-ship terminals and all of Vancouver’s many tourist attractions.

Within 5 min drive/15 mins walk to Ridge Meadows Hospital, restaurants and stores. Within 30mins drive to many other hospitals in the lower mainland. This has been a home away from home for many travelling professionals especially from the health, corporate, and construction industries.

Your experience starts on arrival with free driveway parking. The suite has a private entrance from the side. So come for a quick discreet stay or getaway and experience all that we have to offer, including; large fenced yard, outdoor patio to sit and enjoy the sunsets. Our guest bedroom is beautifully decorated in modern décor. • We live upstairs with children and our small French bulldog, Luna. The suite is partially soundproofed, and we are mindful of noise, but some sounds may carry.
• This is not a party house. We welcome registered, paying guests only and ask that everyone respects our quiet hours from 10 pm to 7 am. Loud or disruptive behaviour is not permitted.
• Heating is controlled remotely by us, and it’s set to ensure guest comfort. However, we know preferences vary, so please let us know if you’d like a different setting. For added comfort, there are also oil heaters and fans available in the suite.
• Washer and dryer access is shared with us upstairs, so feel free to use them as needed. You do not need to reserve a time.
• To make your stay even more enjoyable, we include one complimentary frozen breakfast burrito for each registered guest for your stay. They're ready for you in the freezer to heat up and enjoy at your convenience - a warm and delicious start to your day or a nighttime snack if you're getting in late!

This home is a modern style, 2 year old home located in a new neighbourhood. The bedroom does not have a private entry. You will be entering through the front door.

Guest access
You are welcome to join us in the great room or relax on the back deck. No kitchen access.

If you need use of the washer, dryer and/or iron you're welcome to use it on occasion for regular clothing. Sports equipment and heavily soiled work clothes would need to be taken to the laundry mat. There is a small charge of $5 per load. If you have booked a long term stay of 2 or more weeks we would wave the fee for laundry.

Other things to note
We back on to a forest and a river. There are wild animals in the forest and on occasion we see them. We have seen black bears, coyotes, deer and a bobcat. These are rare sightings. Generally they are just passing by and not interacting with us.
