Trailside Villa Suite is located in an upscale area in our City of Duncan BC Canada. Our suite is private , with a key lock entry. You will not share the space with anyone else. We have approx 400 sq. Ft. of living space for the unit. There is a private bedroom with a queen bed and also a double sofa bed in the sitting room. The quests are happy with the 4 piece bathroom , as some like to soak in the tub at the end of a big day. The little kitchen area has all the essentials for a microwave meal, coffee, tea, toast etc. The suite is on the garden side of our home where you will enjoy our pond , bushes and flowers as well as your private outside deck which is very peaceful . We are close to the hospital, grocery stores, laundry mat, restaurants and pubs. Duncan is situated between Victoria BC and Nanaimo BC , and is therefore a perfect destination for all your day trips and sight seeing adventures. Have fun touring Vancouver Island.

Near beautiful trails and set in a quiet neighbourhood, this suite is perfect for a weekend break or even longer. It has everything you need but is not far from the local town.
This newly renovated suite has its own private entrance and large deck. With home comforts in mind, there is a comfy sleeping area with a queen bed and closet. The sitting room area has a queen sofa bed, electric fireplace and tv. There is also a dining area and desk/dressing table area.
The suite also has a full bathroom and fully equipped kitchen.
There is an outdoor soft tub on the deck for relaxing and watching the sunsets.
Our suite can sleep up to four adults but it is more suited for individuals/couples and people with younger children.
We are happy to provide baby items such as high chair, travel crib, baby bath and toys, games and books for all ages. Please just let us know when booking. Please note although we welcome small pets at the property we do charge a $40 pet fee.

Follow the path through the beautiful garden that will lead you to the suite. Open the french doors and step into the living room featuring an electric fire place, tv, comfy lounge furniture. The queen bedroom has ample closet space and french doors to keep the bedroom private from the rest of the suite. There is access to the shared washer and dryer for use as well as an ironing board.
Step outside your door to enjoy the gardens, use the bbq, and relax on the patio furniture. You can even help yourself to veggies from the garden during the late summer months.

The house is located on a 18000 sq/ft property beautifully landscaped. The property has a park like setting with, flowers, shrubs, garden, fountain, hot tub, sitting areas for guests to relax and enjoy. One corner of the property has a three person swing, arched bridge and functioning water wheel.
Entry to the suite is ground level with French doors. Just outside the entry is a large covered deck with close access to the hot tub.
When you enter there’s a new kitchen with all appliances and attach family room area. The family room has a sofa bed that is queen sized. The suite has one very large bedroom with two floating king beds, a large second bedroom with a queen bed, a three piece washroom, and private laundry room.

The Wobbly Hobbit is a unique example of a sustainable construction method using clay, straw and sand that has been hand sculpted to build this gem in the forest. We are nestled in the country of South Cowichan near vineyards, hiking and mountain biking trails. We are minutes to Shawnigan Lake Private School, Brentwood School College and St. Johns Academy and only 30 minutes to Downtown Victoria.
The space
The guest suite is a carriage suite on a 5 acre property. The suite is well equipped for up to two guests. Our kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, cooking sheets, utensils and other accessories needed to cook yourself breakfast, lunch or dinner. We have a drip coffee pot and always keep the coffee fully stocked!
The bedroom has a queen bed and dresser with ample space for your items. There is a peaceful view of the backyard from the bedroom window. The washroom has a stand up shower and small vanity.
The living space has two comfy couches and a smart TV for entertainment.
We have a small patio table with chairs on the porch and down on the ground level we have a propane fireplace and two lounge chairs for guests to enjoy!

The place is newly remodelled, and is the perfect place for relaxing by the fire, taking a stroll to the beach, or playing a competitive game of ladder ball. The house is a 5 minute walk the beach where you can take a swim in beautiful Shawnigan Lake. We have a paddle board and two Kayaks that are also available to rent for a fee of $100. This is simply a gem in the woods.

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene character suite. Welcome to the Village Garden, in the heart of the Shawnigan Village. Minutes walk to a bakery, coffee shop, sushi, pizza and more. Lake access within walking distance. The suite features beautiful garden access, outdoor dining/BBQ area, full kitchen and shared laundry. The living room has “the world’s most comfortable sofa bed” for extra family members and features a heat pump so you can adjust the temperature to your comfort.
Follow the path through the beautiful garden that will lead you to the suite. Open the french doors and step into the living room featuring an electric fire place, tv, comfy lounge furniture. Through the living room you will find the full kitchen, dining area and dedicated workspace. The queen bedroom has ample closet space and french doors to keep the bedroom private from the rest of the suite. There is access to the shared washer and dryer for use as well as an ironing board.
Step outside your door to enjoy the gardens, use the bbq, and relax on the patio furniture. You can even help yourself to veggies from the garden during the late summer months.

Lake Quamichan is our beautiful lake next door overflowing with wildlife, however, swimming is not allowed due to algae overgrowth. Paddling, electric boating and catch/release fishing are fine, however, and there’s a beautiful new small-craft launch that makes entry easy for any boat one can carry.

Please note that there is one locked storage closet off the living room that is not accessible to guests.
Additionally, the stairs leading from the parking space to the suite and patio are shared with a small office located in our backyard. While it’s rare, you may occasionally see someone using the stairs.

A heads-up: We are parents! Our little one arrived in October 2022, so you will hear us upstairs from the suite. We appreciate your understanding! Earplugs are provided in the bathroom cabinet, just in case.
If you’d like the pull-out couch bed set up before your arrival, just let us know when booking, and we’ll be happy to prepare it for you.
At this time, we are unable to provide snow or ice removal. However, we happily offer road salt and a snow shovel—just ask if it's needed and not left on the patio ahead of time.

Inside dining is provided, however the decks and lower patio garden dining is the place to be.
