- "We stayed at this property for four nights and were very happy with the accomodations. The space was clean and well furnished. Bathroom and bedroom area were a good size and the bedroom had a fan which was a nice bonus. It's located in a quiet neighborhood with a short walk to the Skytrain. You can take a cute little path underneath the Skytrain track. It's a nice walk through a green area. There's a fantastic coffee spot within a five minute walk. Great pastries, breakfast dishes and coffee. Fanzi and her husband were gracious hosts and were so fun to talk with. We wanted to talk more to them, but didn't want to be a pest! Definitely say hi if you stay here they are sweet people. Highly recommend this rental if you're in Vancouver!"

About us: We are a normal happy family. We are both self employed. We have twin boys that are 6yrs old and in school Monday to Friday. Kids will be running around in the house and even though the suite has sound insulation you will still hear some noise which is unavoidable and normal in the day. Please keep that in mind.
We are located in a central Burnaby very safe beautiful neighborhood. We are a 5 minute drive to Brentwood Mall and Wholefoods Market organic specialty.

This is our family home when we are working in the city so although it's not large it has everything you need.
Our place is close to Hi Genki, Nikkei Cultural Centre, Metrotown, Edmonds Sky Train.
Maximum 2 adults plus children. We are a small unit and can’t accommodate that many people.
Please note we only accept bookings with at least one positive review - thanks for your understanding (we had a previous bad experience with someone who booked last minute and didn't have any reviews).
The space
This is a lovely family complex. It’s gated and runs parallel to Beresford Road and a bike/ walking route.
The property is clean and tidy but as it's a 20+ year old complex there is wear and tear (eg. spotting on the bathroom tiles / some marks on cupboards / walls). The washing machine, drier and dish worker all work but are not the most quiet and efficient - this is reflected in the price of the unit.
During the summer months the unit does get warm. We suggest keeping curtains on windows drawn. There is a small mobile air conditioning system for one of the bedrooms and a selection of fans.
There is a small child’s play ground in the complex and 5 minute walk to another park and playing field. It’s a 25 minute walk to Metrotown or 10 mins on a bike. Highgate mall is super close with a Shoppers Drug Mart and Save On Foods. There is a McDonalds, Burger King and Menchies Ice Cream. We also love to visit Tommy Douglas Library and Burnaby Edmonds Community centre with a great swimming pool and large outdoor park and small water park. It’s 20-25 mins to Downtown Vancouver on the Sky Train.

You'll have access to large master bedroom. Washroom with shower / bath and double sink. Second bedroom has double bed, closet and chest of drawers. There is also a very small den (not enclosed) with a pull out bed / area for storage. There is a kitchen with dishwasher / dining / living area. If the weather is good you can use the private patio at the front of the apartment.
Other things to note
We don't charge a cleaning fee on top - but would appreciate the space being left as found - dishes put in dishwasher, all trash in trash can. Thankyou!
