Fanzi and her husband were super friendly and very helpful - thanks for a great stay!" - "To get to the Vrbo house we used Apple maps to guide us to the home, and it brought us to the back alley way of the unit. However, you will need to park in front of the main house and walk to the back to access the unit. In the basement of the house is where you will find the Vrbo. It is not handicap accessible because you have to walk down stairs to get to the unit. The owners provide some welcoming snacks and drinks, which is a nice touch. The place has three beds and is comfortable for a family of four. The beds are soft, squeaky, and bouncy. Also, the bathrooms are small with little to no counter space. The house walls are very thin and you can hear the owners upstairs especially in the early mornings around 6am. Outside of the unit is a door that says “laundry room” where you will find a washer and dryer. This neighborhood is nice and safe with a 10 minute walk to the Skytrain. Please note that basement rooms do not have AC (air condition) but the temperature of Burnaby in basement is reasonably normal and portable fans are being provided.

Also there is a stove but no pots or pans which I have never come across before.... best thing about this is it is walking distance to some lovely parks. "

The house is older, with an old carpet that is easily dusty, a shared washroom that shows signs of wear, and an unfinished hallway. Due to other guests, hygiene may not be 100% perfect. This accommodation is not recommended for couples seeking a romantic getaway. It is, however, more comfortable than staying in a hostel and sharing your room with others. great time at this comfortable place to stay.
