Home away from home. This 3 bedroom 2 bathroom upper floor house is the perfect, relaxing getaway for a single person traveling or on business to a couple wanting peace and quiet or a family with children of any age. We are excited to have you stay with us. Our property is walking distance to parks, restaurants and shopping. We are an easy drive from the USA boarder, YVR airport and the Tsawwassen ferry terminal. The main bus loop is a short walk away to take you anywhere you want to go in the lower mainland. Ladner is a very quiet and safe community full of many attractions and central to many lower mainland activities.

Regarding the Kitchen: To provide convenience, our kitchen is equipped with basic appliances and utensils, suitable for simple food preparation and heating. Complex food preparation may trigger the smoke detector and cause difficult-to-clean grease stains. If you are an avid cook or wish to enjoy cooking during your trip, we recommend choosing a suite with more comprehensive facilities.
Regarding Pest Control: The suite is located near extensive farmlands and wetlands, making the ground floor prone to small insects, especially ants. We have implemented several preventive measures (regular insecticide spraying and placing ant traps in corners). To prevent ants from gathering, do not leave food and drink residues in any corner of the room and avoid storing large amounts of food waste in indoor trash bins. All trash should be sorted and promptly placed in the outdoor collection area. If you or your companions are allergic to small insects, please consider this carefully when booking.
Regarding Indoor Temperature: The thermostat for the entire air conditioning system is upstairs, which may result in temperature differences between the upstairs and downstairs. If you feel uncomfortable with the indoor temperature during your stay, please contact me anytime for manual adjustments.
Regarding Beds and Bedding: The suite has a queen-size bed, a twin-size and king-size convertible IKEA daybed, with extra blankets and quilts stored in two drawers under this bed. There are also two double-size sofa beds, one of which, located in front of the fireplace, has four hidden support legs for stable unfolding. You can refer to the pictures for instructions on how to use them.
Regarding the TV: The suite is equipped with a television, but it is currently not operational due to a missing remote control. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Regarding the bathroom lighting: Because the bathroom light is equipped with overheat protection measures, it will be automatically extinguished when lit for a long time until the working temperature is restored and it will be lit again. In order not to affect your normal use, please turn off the light when leaving the bathroom. Thank you for your cooperation
Regarding safety: Due to defects in the original design, there is a height difference between the living room and the kitchen. Please pay attention to your feet when passing through. In order to facilitate passing at night, I have equipped the night light in the living room. There are ant traps in the corner near the kitchen and dining table. Please take care when staying with children. Fire extinguishers and smoke detectors are installed on the kitchen wall. If an alarm occurs, please disarm the alarm by yourself when you are sure it is safe.

This five bedroom farmhouse is located on a working farm and has a fenced yard and separate driveway for guests. Tractors access another driveway and fields on a daily basis. There are two floors with a bathroom on each level. The house is over one hundred years old and has lots of room for several guests. Close to shopping, downtown Vancouver, Ferry Terminals and Border Crossings. There are several activities close by such as horse back riding, the bird sanctuary, Centennial Beach and several golf courses. It is close to the local ski mountains and hiking such as the Chief and Grouse Grind with Whistler mountain being two hours away. You can also go sturgeon fishing on the Fraser River which is fifty minutes away. The highway is close by which allows you quick access to Vancouver, Richmond, Langely, Abbotsford etc. It's also thirty minutes or more to Stanley Park, Capillano Suspension Bridge, Van Dusen Gardens, River Rock Casino and unlimited restaurants without paying the high cost of staying in the City. Located in a country setting but central to many activities.

This private suite is located on the rear of our home and has a separate entrance. The suite is all on the ground level with only 2 steps up to the entryway. We live on the premises and are available if needed but you also have your privacy. We are located in a quiet residential neighbourhood and it is best suited to guests seeking a peaceful getaway. The suite is attached to our main residence and is not suitable for parties or lively entertaining.
Please note this listing is not able to accommodate pets/animals. The suite has a separate entrance but is attached to the main house where we live. We have a young child with a dog phobia and family members with severe allergies that use this space. If you travel with a service or emotional support animal, we kindly ask that you reconsider whether this listing is the right fit.

A great place to bring your boat and go for a drive or fish, then come back to the house, light a bonfire and jump in the hot tub. The bird watching is fantastic as we have the Reifel Park bird sanctuary located a half mile away. Watch out for feathered visitors in the yard including eagles, pheasants and herons! We have the great fortune of living in a very central lower mainland location where you can be in downtown Vancouver in 40 minutes if you so choose.

It’s located in what looks like a developing area. The apartment is very clean and looks new. We enjoyed our evenings on the patio and the gorgeous living room/kitchen area. Everywhere you go needs a key fob access. Small improvements are needed but this place will be great for years to come. There was a bad smell outside and sometimes in the hallways but I think it might be from the ocean seaweed."

Cozy, spacious private suite. Welcome to quiet Ladner, a quaint historic fishing village. A world famous bird sanctuary and arguably British Columbias largest outdoor market. This location is an 8 min drive to the ferry terminal, 15 mins to the airport, 20 mins to downtown Vancouver and 20 mins to the US border. This suite is large and cozy with all the comforts of a home. A fully equipped kitchen large kitchen , full size washer dryer , fireplace and an outdoor sauna.

The Prohibition Penthouse
Soak in the deep tub overlooking the farmlands, while watching the birds soar across the vast skyline.
As you enjoy the bubbles, you can think to your self, "This mansion has defiantly seen better days"... Thats because it's old, and this house has some crazy stories to tell. Now our little gang of "found family" have come together to give you a stay that you will never forget!
Come and enjoy Prohibition Farm and explore the enormous house with all sorts of activities hidden around the many rooms. In the summer the yard is a fantastic retreat with recreation trails just outside the front doors!
Come and play in our broken down palace that we have tried to stuff some life back into! Have some fun poking around a home designed by someone who had no business creating a floor plan! Come support our families who are providing live and work opportunities to people with different abilities supported under CLBC.
The 1500sq ft Penthouse suite comes with two bedrooms, and a private deck that over looks the ocean. On the other side of The Penthouse a cemi private patio overlooks the pool area and yard. The View Point Living Room is also private to your suite, it has a sweeping 180 degree view of the Fraser River pouring into the Pacific Ocean. The Penthouse has a mini equipped kitchenette inside the walk in closet that also has lots of room for clothes. The Kitchenette sucks, however it works in a pinch. Don't forget that the main kitchen is only down stairs and is common! The Penthouse suite provides you with your own hidden apartment within the mansion!

THE SALE
As we set up, we are still figuring out all the details as we restore this once abandoned mansion. Keep reminding your self "it's not the Hilton"! Our prices are currently lower as we continue to improve. One thing we are working on is heat! Bring slippers or extra socks. Your suite is nice and warm, however a 12000sqft house with stone floors and all windows, means the floors are always cold. The house is doing the best it can, trust me! The temperature of all common areas is set to 20 / 21 degrees celsius. Please keep in mind with the size of the home, glass walls, and stone floors are not helping our heating efforts. The suites are all smaller spaces with more normal ceiling heights and closed doors, therefore are able to stay much warmer.
All amenities are shared -----> This includes the outdoor BBQ kitchen, fireplace area, and excessively large pool, pool table room, library, ping pong table, main house kitchen, and hot tub.
(No Sir , you didn't rent the whole mansion for $300 a night, those other people using the shared amenities are allowed to be there... No Sir they are not breaking in........ Yes this is a real story! Haha) Remember - Your Suite is an "apartment" within the larger building.
The estate grounds are about four acres and sit across the street from the Fraser River emptying into the Pacific Ocean. We are a short distance away from many parks and have public access to the Dyke pathway across the road!
Why is the listing so secret with the strange photos and limited details about the mansion?
It is fun and different concept and a little bit of a gamble on your part! Besides, do you really want to stay in another Airbnb that looks like an Ikea catalog? Painting everything white is not a renovation btw ;) As you arrive you will quickly see how big the home and property actually are. We downplay this in the photos to allow for a bit of a surprise.
Short term rentals are not looked on favourably by everyone. Therefore, taking this fun secret/hidden approach has allowed us to provide living / working opportunities for the people with intellectual disabilities we have adopted into our family. As we avoid being bothered by anyone.
(Yes the bnb is allowed here as we are a working farm. This makes the bnb agrotourism as we are zoned A-1. Thanks for checking in on us mystery person who needs to find a hobby, Knitting? :p )
Your host family lives on the property in a separate house, yet well hidden! We are close by if you need anything! This doesn't mean expect me to drop what I am doing to bring you an extension cord... This means If there is something that needs to be addressed ASAP there is always a neighbour close by to help.
You will probably see people of all sorts of abilities cleaning, gardening, or just hanging with their peers. Please remember that some of these people are differently abled and may not know the best way to say “hi” back!
Security
The property is gated. Please do not give out the gate code to anyone. If you are meeting a delivery driver or a taxi, we ask that you meet them out front. The property does have security cameras in some public spaces. Your hosts are also on site and able to help if needed.

Smoking - No smoking inside please. There are ash trays all around the property and smoking is ok outside. Smoking the dope ( 420 ) is also ok outside!

ONE car. There is NO street parking close by. So we ask that you plan to bring only one car, or have a plan to walk a bit to get to the second.
Number of Guests - This suite is set up and ideal for only 4 guests. we WILL NOT accept requests to host more then 4 in one unit. We will NOT allow you to invite other people over to our house! It takes away from the experience and makes me very grumpy. Please registered guests on the property only. We do rent out the whole house, you can always ask about our event rates. It isn't cheap.
No, sorry you cannot have your sisters’ kids over for the day to use the pool. Registered guests only. Registered guests only. Registered guests only.
(One time I came home to a wedding happening in my back yard. NO JOKE. This is why I have to put this here!)
- Yes, we have a total person limit for the property that we actively monitor.
- Kids are welcome however this property is large and there are many places an unsupervised child can find trouble. We ask that children are never unsupervised. (Please no glitter... Now imagine why I need to write this here...)
If you have questions or concerns, you should check in before booking!
- Pets are allowed with pet fee. The yard is fully fenced, however there are many areas where a smart pet could escape is unattended. We also cannot guarantee an unsupervised pet wont escape.
-We have a no-tolerance rule about parties and disturbances, so please be aware that complaints coming from neighbours, notifications from authorities, notifications from our noise monitoring software, or any other proof of disruptive behaviour or loud noise between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM will result in fines of up to $1000.00, possible eviction and / or possible legal action if authorities are involved. (we have to put this in as there is always someone who tries to ruin a good thing for everyone)

Newly renovated heritage house with Edwardian Era charm. When you enter this space you will find a welcoming entrance area with stairs to the upper level and an open feel to the downstairs throughout. To your left you find a traditional dining room and adjacent office area (with door) to work in peace. To your right you will find a large living room area with plenty of seating and traditional decor. A comfy love seat invites you to cuddle up with a hot cup of tea or coffee. Next to the living room you will find a well equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and complete with cookware, utensils, dishes, cutlery, dish towels, hot mitts and dishwasher tabs. The large space allows you to cook and prep meals for yourself or your family and hang out at the breakfast table.
Upstairs you will get to enjoy 3 bedrooms and a fully renovated bathroom. All linens, towels, bath mat, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper and tissues are included. The first bedroom has one queen size bed, the second bedroom has one double and one twin and the third bedroom has another queen size bed for your comfort. All decor upstairs is modern and comfortable. All bedrooms have large closets and lots of storage space. You will also have access to a shared garden area in the back yard and laundry facilities with entrance at the back entrance of the house. You will share these areas with guests from the suite (which is located in the back of the house) or myself (mostly for property upkeep and during guest switch overs)
This heritage house is special as it was one of the first houses in Ladner and owned by one family for generations and it is located in short walking distance to Ladner Village, which features shopping, cafés, restaurants, farmers market, a walk-in clinic, parks, events and more in this thriving community. Ladner is only a 17 minute drive to the airport and only 12 km to the ferries. If you are looking for outlet shopping we are only 6km from Tsawwassen Mills and 12km to the Designer Outlet Mall at the Airport. This house is also in the centre of popular Delta school district.
This space is very convenient if you are travelling by plane or ferry, or to the U.S. border, as it is so conveniently located. It is also perfect for monthly stays if you are working in the area on a short term basis.

Newly renovated main unit of the house, brand new bedding, everything barely used. Plenty of free parking spaces. 5 minute drive to Ladner town, 5 minute drive to the recently built Cascade casino, 10 minutes to Tsawwassen Mills outlet mall, 15 minutes to Tsawwassen ferry terminal where you can catch a ferry to Victoria, and Gulf islands. Around 15 to 30 minutes drive from CYVR and McArthur Glen Designer outlet. Around 20 to 40 minutes drive to downtown Vancouver depending on the time of the day. 15 minute drive to Point Roberts WA which is a pene-enclave bellow 49 parallel takes you to 1950s. 25 minutes drive to Vancouver whale watching in Steveston village, Richmond. Around 10 minutes drive to splashdown outdoor water park, Tsawwassen.
