It’s a basement with no windows. Beds were full size and not Queen size. No Soap in the bathroom except a previously used soap cake . Very noisy at night because owners were running vacuum and some motor and walking around mostly into wee hours which caused a lot of noise for the unit and we were not able to sleep. Also water pressure was really low and one morning we didn’t have water for a while in the shower. It’s not a proper kitchen but appliances were provided which needed cleaning before use. Our new cottage with loft bedroom is steps from the Baden Powell Trail, Quarry Rock, Deep Cove Canoe & Kayak Shop, bistros, coffee shops, Panorama Park, Deep Cove Theatre & Arts & Cultural Centre. Our suite is a brand new above ground property in a peaceful and quiet creekside setting w/ water and forest views. The loft bedroom has views of Deep Cove's harbour amongst the trees. The second bedroom/den looks onto the deck and creekside. The living, kitchen and dining area has dual views of the garden and view to the marina with boats and kayaking. You have both a deck and a bluestone garden patio to enjoy in the spring/summer. The bathroom has a large shower with rainshower head and heated floors. You have access to two kayaks as well. In addition to TV and WiFi we can supply board games as well :). Architecturally designed, tastefully furnished.

The location was wonderful for walking down the hill into Deep Cove for coffee, lunch or a wander in the park. The climb back up took a little more effort but we still did it at least once a day. My son availed himself of the almost front door access to the trailhead and spent a day hiking Mt. Seymour's trails and photographing local wildlife. I would recommend this stay for anyone visiting Deep Cove."

If needed we have a number of babysitters that are available to use during your stay. Also we have a playpen and bed rails for little ones if needed.

Please note that we have listed a 2 day minimum stay to allow our calendar to fill up the current month (i.e.: fill up open days in the next 30 day window)
However, our preference is:
- to not take booking less than 5 days in duration unless they are within the immediate 3 months prior to your stay.

Simply the perfect base to explore and enjoy Vancouver for the first time or while visiting family and friends!

Our home offers a renovated, fully furnished 700 square foot one bedroom self-contained basement suite. Please note if you are taller than 5’10 you may have to slightly duck! Guests are treated to a private entrance accessed via natural stone steps on the North side of the house, just off the gardens. The steps could be somewhat challenging for anyone with significant mobility issues. Motion detector lighting illuminates the path. Parking is available at the front of the house or above the back driveway. You are welcome to use the table/chairs ourside the suite door, but please no smoking/vaping in the suite or anywhere on the property.

Bright and spacious, the floor to ceiling windows in the kitchen area offer peekaboo views of the North Shore. The suite boasts an open plan, carpeting and slate tiles throughout, and all the necessary amenities including in suite laundry. We are located close to a number of must see Vancouver sites. Just above the driveway you are immediately at the new North Shore Green Necklace walking path leading into Greenwood Park. For those skiing and biking enthusiasts, or if you just want to take in some hiking, bear watching or spectacular views, there is easy driving access to Grouse Mountain (11 minutes), Mount Seymour (20 minutes), Cypress Bowl (30 minutes), and Whistler Mountain (75 minutes). The space
This is a private and spacious 1100 sq ft ground floor suite with its own entrance located in the Lynn Valley of North Vancouver. The suite has one bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. It is equipped with amenities such as a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a living room with a 55" TV, books, and games, as well as a dining area. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed, a 40" Smart TV, and a closet. The bathroom includes toiletries and a hairdryer.
This location is within a 25-minute drive to downtown Vancouver or a 50-minute public transit ride. The North Shore offers many outdoor and tourist options that are easily accessible from this location.

Guest access
The guest suite is located on the lower level of a 2-level home. The entrance is located off the back of the home. There is free parking located in front of the house. To access the guest suite there is an electronic keypad, the code will be provided 24 hours before check-in. Check-in will be anytime after 4:00 pm.

It is mandatory to verify the ID of the reservation holder upon arrival, failing which I cannot proceed with the check-in process.

Other things to note
We live on the upper floor of the house so we are available if you need anything, have any questions, or are looking for suggestions on where to go or what to see in our beautiful city.

We are a family of two that lives above the guest suite. We have two friendly dogs. We strive to be ultra quiet for our guests, but sometimes our dogs could possibly be heard on the downstairs level, so if you love animals you are very welcome. But if you think you’ll be disturbed by the occasional sounds upstairs, please reconsider your plan to book with us - though we certainly hope you’ll be our guest and experience how truly wonderful our suite is!

The space
Enjoy our self-contained 1 Bedroom garden suite with its own private entrance and fenced yard access. We have ample street parking outside our front gate.

The suite is warm and cozy during winter and cool during the summer. Windows on all corners of the suite allow for ample cross ventilation.

The suite sleeps 1-4 people, 2 couples or a family of 4 in 1 queen sized bed and 1 sofa bed. We can also provide a camping mat upon request.

Are you travelling with little kids? No problem! We can provide a travel crib, bedding, high chair, books and toys to keep your little one entertained and comfortable. Outside in the garden is a slide, small trampoline and sandbox. We have amazing parks and playgrounds within walking distance from our property.

The fully furnished guest suite is equipped with a full kitchen, gas fireplace, heated bathroom floors, washer and dryer, and a large soaking tub. Wall-to-wall windows in the bedroom look out on a woodland backyard stream with a park greenbelt behind it.

The suite sleeps 3 people: there's a queen bed in the bedroom, and we have a fold-up floor mattress available as an extra sleeping space. All linens are provided, and the kitchen has all the essential equipment for cooking your own meals. The dining table can be extended to seat 4.

The suite has Disney+, Roku, high-speed WiFi, cable TV, and a sound bar. Connect your phone to the sound bar via Bluetooth to play music. Work remotely at the desk in the bedroom.

The village of Deep Cove is a 5-minute walk away. You can go for a swim in the Cove, rent kayaks and stand up paddleboards at Deep Cove Kayak, hike the Quarry Rock trail to the lookout over Indian Arm, and enjoy coffee and pastries from popular Honey Doughnuts. The suite is on the lower level of our family home and is accessed via its own entrance with a keypad door lock. Our family of 4 shares the house, but not your space. Please note: the house is built into a hill, with several stairs leading down to the guest suite door, so it’s not appropriate for those with mobility issues. Street parking is free and there is a transit stop just around the corner. Outdoor space is available for you in the front yard. It’s not private – there are always lots of people walking, riding, or driving by on nice days – but it is a sunny part of our property.

Bring Fido! Our suite is dog-friendly, with prior approval. (Please let us know a little about your dog when booking. We allow up to 2 dogs.) North Vancouver is a fantastic place for dogs, and there are several great trails nearby that your dog will love to explore - both on-leash and off. We border Myrtle Park, which includes a fenced off-leash dog park where your pup can make some new friends. We do require that you please keep your dog off the bed and furniture, and please clean up after them.

Our guest suite is completely self-contained with its own private entrance, and you’ll self-checkin using a keypad.

We landed at 1:00, rented a car, and explored the Sea to Sky Highway. This north Vancouver location was super convenient for returning from that at night. It was also great for our early morning ferry out of Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo the next day (20 minute drive). The morning our cruise left, we headed 5 minutes over to Lynn Canyon Park to see the free suspension bridge.Then 20 minutes to Canada Place for embarkation. This apartment was built/renovated like they made it for someone they liked. I’ve been in OTHER rentals where you could tell they were trying to see how cheap they could be and still trick people into staying. This one was comfortable and well made and well appointed. Very much a beach house, expect lots of sunlight and fresh ocean air in this suite. The Beach is literally across the street! All amenities you will need are included. Lots of free street parking, as well as a space In the drive way for 2 cars for the length of your stay. Please note: The bedroom has an ultra-comfy queen sized bed, and there is a small pullout sofa in the living room. However It’s probably best suited for singles, couples, or no more then 3 people and is not very kid-friendly. Please make yourself at home both inside, as well as outside in the garden. You will have your own outside patio complete with BBQ and outdoor dining table. In summer feel free to pick veggies and herbs from the garden. We live in the top of the house and will be there for any questions or concerns. Lots of wildlife here, expect to see Deer sleeping in the backyard, Bears in the fall, and lots of skunks and racoons. Also, you will meet our 3 Indoor-outdoor kitty cats who always sleep in the backyard.

It's also close to walking trails,stores and restaurants, suspension bridge and grouse mountain.There is a lot of space in all the rooms and they are equiped with all the main things you need during a stay. There is a large Living room with a smart TV with access to Netflix and Amazon Prime. We provide fast internet so that you can work comfortably and remotely. A small dinning table is provided and a single burner electric stove and toaster oven for your basic cooking needs.

The entire space has been recently freshly painted. We hired a third party cleaning company to ensure each room is properly sanitized to follow new COVID 19 cleaning policies.

For safety reason fire place is not able to use.

The area is world renown for its hiking and biking trails. Your minutes away from Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge, 30 foot pool. 10 minute bike ride to the mouth of Mount Fromme. Your under 30 minutes away from the local ski resorts Grouse Mountain, Mount Seymour and Cypress Mountain. If you love the wilderness, this is the neighborhood to stay at.

Getting Around:
The bus (#227) stop is just outside of the door. It will get you to Lynn Valley Center shopping mall(or 3 minutes driving or 15 minutes walking distance) for groceries. The bus connects to Lonsdale Quay and Phibbs Exchange where you can transfer to downtown and other cities.

Other Things to Note:
You can park on the left side of the main entrance (which will be indicated in my instruction)
If your stay is over 14 days, sometimes upper residents will have to share laundry with you.
For safety reasons, the fireplace is not available for use.

There is free parking out front dedicated for my guests only. A bus station is 1 minute walk away.

Welcome to my newly updated 2-bedroom 1-WC basement suite in the heart of Lynn Valley, North Vancouver. The suite is located minutes away from Lynn Valley city center and the world renown North Shore Mountains. Easy access to all the local ski hills; Mount Seymour, Grouse Mountain and Cypress Mountain. Access to your suite is 100% private and nothing is shared.

The Space:
Relax in the comfort of a queen size bed in one room and a king size bed in the other. The living room is equipped with a sofa bed; therefore, allowing up to 6 adults to sleep comfortably.

There is an electric fan provided for guest's use.
There will be 1 set of towels for each guest for every booking.
Large backyard will be shared with upper resident feel free to chill or have a great air and space there.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to a fully private suite and nothing is shared with anyone else in the house or any guest.

Information to access your suite will be sent once the booking is confirmed.

You are centrally located in North Vancouver in a very quiet neighborhood. Most attraction in North Vancouver are no more than 10 minutes away: 11 minutes to Lonsdale Quay Market, 5 minutes from Lynn Valley, 12 minutes from Grouse Mountain, and 10 minutes from the Capilano Suspension Bridge. Enjoy the lush green surroundings and the North Shore Mountains.
