Things to note:

1. There is shared brand new high end hot tub for you to enjoy. This is located in a shared space and may not be available for your private use at all times. Use of hot tub is available between 8am-10pm only.

2. Please note there is no dishwasher, but otherwise, is a fully self contained basement suite.

3. There is free street parking right in front of our home and the suite is accessible by a private entrance through the fully fenced/gated backyard.

4. For your security and ours, there are two outdoor security cameras at the front of our home and at your entrance gate.

5. No smoking/vaping/drug use of any kind in the yard or on the property and please be courteous with regards to early morning or late night noise.

6. Bring slippers as the flooring is vinyl plank and you will be much cozier wearing indoor footwear.

7. Our family of 4 (children ages 13 + 15) and our 3-legged dog, Bella the beagle, reside upstairs so please do expect noise that comes with an active family of four residing in the main area of the home.

8. The person who books the suite must be staying. No booking the suite on behalf of others.

We are within walking distance to beautiful The Hills at Portal golf course, historic Peace Arch Park, The Glades Garden Park, Dufferin Park (for your little ones to play), liquor store, hair salon, Semiahmoo Athletic Club (CrossFit) and The Bennett restaurant/pub.

Getting around: It is ideal to have a vehicle for this area of South Surrey. The closest access to public transportation is 2.4km away. Uber and taxis are also available in our area.

Lovely bright one bedroom private Suite contains a full granite kitchen with comfortable lounge with a large sofa and a large flat screen TV and a dining area/work desk with wireless wifi. The suite is fully furnished and has a stove, microwave, coffee machine, kettle etc and with a fridge/freezer that makes it feel like home. Basic toiletries and are there and if there is anything you have forgotten just ask! The self-contained suite is available for both short term and longer term let. Newly installed granite kitchen and bathroom worktops.
We also have another suite next door that sleeps 2 on a queen bed. Ask for details.
Free parking is available on-street. No driveway parking.
Stays longer than one week can have the suite cleaned for free including new bedding and towels and personal washing done. Just contact me if any new towels or bedding is required before that and I will happily accommodate.

The kitchen is brand new and has all stainless steal appliances You have your own private laundry with a brand new stack washer and dryer. There is lots of natural light. The second bed is a sofa bed. This is a very quaint 450 sq foot one bedroom suite. We are located between 2 beaches - Crescent Beach & White Rock Beach, both having excellent restaurants, only difference is Crescent Beach is quieter and has free parking. Crescent beach is an excellent beach for family as it offers swimming with posted lifeguards. There is an array of beach activities, restaurants, coffee cafe's, fish and chips, ice-cream, wine bar and gelato bars. White Rock has a lot to offer as well for restaurants, gelato bars and specialty shops.
US Border is 10 min drive with all the US shopping just minutes down the highway. Two golf courses just 8 minute drive. Vancouver & Abbotsford Airports are 30-40 minutes away. There are many things to do from wine tasting, salmon fishing, a Granville Island visit or touring Vancouver all within a short distance. White Rock area will rain half as much as other areas in the Vancouver area for the months of Nov, Dec & Jan - it's a great place to be in the winter months too!

The suite was clean, tidy and furnished with everything a guest could need. I particularly was impressed by how well the kitchen was equipped. I found the bed very comfortable. The suite was detached from the main house, so it was fully self-contained and private. Yet the friendly hosts were close enough to reach if I ran into a question. I enjoyed driving to Crescent Beach and White Rock Pier to take strolls along the waterfront. I would love to stay in this property again if I was returning to this area."

Expect some noise from the 2nd floor, as we have kids. But we try to control it, so that the noise is minimal.

It was a bit loud with people walking on the upper floor and they were up till 1:00am, so I didn't sleep well. Also the mattress was not that comfortable for myself. It says it comes with air conditioner but that is not accurate. I got a "cooler" to help with the heat but it was a very old and not very effective. BC was in a heat wave. I only had a small fan in the bedroom. It was very hot in the bedroom, Over all not a very good experience for me. "
