This is a garden apartment with a view. Tastefully decorated with a modern kitchen equipped with all your basic needs including three full size stainless steel appliances and a dining table. You will find a two large sofas, one is a queen size sofa bed, gas fireplace, ottoman, flat screen TV, desk and task chair, and wifi connectivity in the living room. In the bedroom you will find a two twin size beds placed side by side = king size bed, full size dresser, two night tables, two lamps and a full length mirror. There is a three fixture, bright bathroom. There is a covered patio with BBQ for your exclusive use and shared fenced back yard. There is a shared laundry room and parking for up to two vehicles (tandem). We live upstairs and will be more than happy to help with directions or recommendations as well as assistance with public transit if requested. The location is a short drive to shopping, parks, lakes, beaches, and directly on transit route. 40 minutes drive to your choice of three local ski hills and 90 minute drive to Whistler.

The Sea Coast Inn is open for business as we have a business license making it a legal short term rental. It does not fall under the new British Columbia restrictions as it is a private secure unit within our principle residence.
The Sea Coast Inn is 30 minutes away from Vancouver and within minutes Port Moody's parks and beaches. It is perfect for a romantic getaway or a cozy overnight on the way to the beach, mountains or city. Located close to major attractions and activities you can do what your heart desires. From hiking, mountain biking, rollerblading, sightseeing, fine dining, skiing, swimming, to just reading and relaxing at your own private beach, there are endless possibilities!
Within 10 minutes one can drive to Belcarra Park, White Pine Beach or Buntzen Lake. These parks offer swimming, picnicking and a wide array of hiking trails. Alderside Road connects to Old Orchard Park, a short stroll away where one can enjoy a public beach, covered picnic areas and a children's playground. From there you can continue along the path which is a good venue for walking, jogging, roller blading or cycling to Rocky Point Park, or walk the scenic Shoreline Park Trail along the water's edge where you will find a variety of bird watching areas.
Public transportation is within a 5 minute walk. There are two Sky Train Stations in Port Moody which once there, will take you to Vancouver in approximately 40 minutes. The Starlight Poolside is a stylish suite in the lower level of my detached house in Coquitlam's Ranch Park area. The oversized sliding doors overlook the pool area. It is peaceful to look out on, and there are sheers to allow privacy if wished. The area is a great hub for all lower mainland attractions.
Many enjoy poolside time before or after a day of sightseeing. POOL IS OPEN JUNE THROUGH SEPTEMBER. The outdoor area has a table/chairs, barbeque and 2 lounger chairs allocated for the poolside suite. The pool is heated and ready for use June through September. There is no fencing between the entrance door and the pool, and there are side yard stairs to the entrance from the gravel driveway. The poolside suite is not suitable for children, or people unable to climb stairs for these reasons.
Inside the newly built suite, you will notice the open floorplan, quartz countertop eating bar area, microwave, induction cooktop, and a large Breville toaster oven. (There is no stove/oven) There are plenty of dishes and cooking utensils available.
The gorgeous floor to ceiling tile spa-like bathroom has a nice soaker tub for the needed evening relaxation! Dim down the crystal lights! Large sliders open to the pool deck, for a tranquil view. No need to think about bringing towels, pool towels, soap, shampoo, etc...as all are provided here.
The bedroom has a large king bed, which can be split and I can make into 2 twin xl beds! Let me know ahead of time. The mattresses are super comfortable, and guests have said that the suite is very quiet! Nice. The 'safe and sound insulation' that I put in works!
Wifi and Netflix are provided, along with cable channels, which can be watched on the 32" flat screen tv.
There could be others in the backyard at the same time as you. Times in the pool can be put on a sign up board, so private pool time can be enjoyed easily. The pool is open and heated June through September.
At the end of my street, Starlight Way, is a bus stop which will bring you down to the Coquitlam Centre Mall and Evergreen Line (skytrain). If you drive, it is 5 minutes away. Walking maybe 15-20 minutes, but longer coming back as I am on a hill! You may wish to take a quick cab ride up, or take the transit bus. The skytrain or the West Coast Express train will take you right into Vancouver. Both are a great way to travel.
Coquitlam is about a 20 minute drive to Vancouver. Maybe 30 minutes right to downtown, providing traffic is good.
There are many lakes, and hiking trails around. If you wish to be out for a bbq in the park, let me know. I can provide you with a cooler, ice packs and a bbq for your pleasure!

The fully furnished guest suite is equipped with a full kitchen, gas fireplace, heated bathroom floors, washer and dryer, and a large soaking tub. It's modern and bright, with polished concrete floors, an open-plan layout, and trendy barn doors leading to the oversize bedroom. The suite is on the lower level of our family home and is accessed via its own entrance with a keypad door lock. Our family of 4 shares the house, but not your space. Please note: the house is built into a hill, with several stairs leading down to the guest suite door, so it’s not appropriate for those with mobility issues. Street parking is free and there is a transit stop just around the corner. Outdoor space is available for you in the front yard. It’s not private – there are always lots of people walking, riding, or driving by on nice days – but it is a sunny part of our property.

Bring Fido! Our suite is dog-friendly, with prior approval. (Please let us know a little about your dog when booking. We allow up to 2 dogs.) North Vancouver is a fantastic place for dogs, and there are several great trails nearby that your dog will love to explore - both on-leash and off. We border Myrtle Park, which includes a fenced off-leash dog park where your pup can make some new friends. We do require that you please keep your dog off the bed and furniture, and please clean up after them.

As our housekeeper changes furniture & wall hanging pictures, etc. regularly, some of the furnishings may not exactly the same shown in some of the pictures. The common area at the house/suite may have very limited access by us if needed, due to the control system.
Sometimes “Default” heading of the description confuse the readers. For example: Each Bedroom has one queen bed which can accommodate two adults only on the bed. Sofabed if mention, is an addition amenity for free which can accommodate children easily and if linen or blanket for sofabed is needed, you have to request and inform the owners upon arrival. Also, we are expecting the guest must have their toiletries to their use. Portable fans are being provided. “The Chateau” is a huge luxury & Beautiful property. It consists of the main house and two basement suites with different options. Please note that your Suite is independent, containing two bedrooms with a kitchen and a living area with separate entry. You will have your own privacy and no access to/from the main house/other basement suites. Please note that basement rooms do not have AC (air condition) but the temperature of Burnaby in basement is reasonably normal and portable fans are being provided.

Brand new waterfront suite with private deck and hot tub. You will be right on the water with full access to the waterfront deck, beach, outdoor shower and hot tub. Ideal for a couple - can accept up to 4. Just a few minutes walk to the charming village of Deep Cove, and less than 30 minutes drive to downtown Vancouver. Enjoy the beach and hot tub, do the Quarry Rock hike and enjoy the beautiful views of Deep Cove. At the end of the day, you can cook in the full kitchen, use the barbecue or visit one of the many excellent restaurants in the Village.
You will be staying in a locked off ground level suite. Lockbox access through the sliding glass doors.
I live in the upstairs part of the house - and there is excellent soundproofing, so you probably won't hear me. I will be available by cell phone if you have any issues with the property, or any questions. If I am away I will have somebody available to help.
I will occasionally pass by your deck to access the beach or the private dock which is shared with my neighbour (no guest access-sorry) but your privacy will be respected.
Comfortable queen size bed will be made up for your arrival. There is also a double futon that can sleep two kids (or friendly adults!) Both beds have upgraded mattresses and are very comfortable! Brand new - enjoy your stay in Paradise.
Please note that there are approximately 40 steps down to the suite. These are wide steps with a hand rail, but guests with mobility issues may want to discuss this before booking.

Collection day is typically Tuesday, bins are located at the pedestrian gate entrance with sorting instructions.
Do not leave trash outside the bins to avoid attracting wildlife.

Very comfortable King Size Bed (2022) and sofa bed (double) available. Deep Cove is one of the most desirable neighbourhoods in greater Vancouver. It is very safe and close to nature. Within 1km you are on a hiking trail up a mountain, within 1.5 km you are at Deep Cove and can kayak on the ocean. We are 300m from a bus (211) that goes directly into Vancouver, be in downtown in 30 minutes. Mount Seymour Ski Resort has a FREE shuttle 1.2 km from my home and I am happy to drive you to the shuttle.

Living room and second bedroom features a 55-inch TV. Kitchen area is fully equipped for cooking and baking. Bathroom is fully stocked with washer/dryer - has shower and a hairdryer for your convenience . It is perfect for a lovely stay with friends or family.
Apartment is totally separated from the main house. Has separate entrance on the right side of the house and it is not shared with any other guests. Entire unit with laundry and kitchen its yours and has only one key that you will take from lock box.
Pets are allowed.

Sometimes “Default” heading of the description confuse the readers. For example: Each Bedroom has one queen bed which can accommodate two adults only on the bed. Sofabed if mention, is an addition amenity for free which can accommodate children easily and if linen or blanket for sofabed is needed, you have to request and inform the owners upon arrival. Also, we are expecting the guest must have their toiletries to their use. Portable fans are being provided. “The Chateau” is a huge luxury & Beautiful property. It consist of main house and two basement suites with different options. Please note that your Suite is independent, containing 3 bedrooms with kitchen and living area with separate entry. You will have your own privacy and no access to/from main house/ other basement suite. Please note that basement rooms do not have AC (air condition) but the temperature of Burnaby in basement is reasonably normal and portable fans are being provided.
