Welcome to Gezellig House, a newly renovated upscale one-bedroom suite located in the Blueridge neighborhood of North Vancouver. The suite measures 600sqft and includes a private entrance that opens up to a peaceful backyard, complete with a full-size hot tub situated under 150' Douglas fir trees. Locked storage is available for mountain bikes and other outdoor gear.

About the Space
It’s a perfect location for experiencing the great outdoors here on The North Shore with endless mountain biking and hiking trails just up the street. Mount Seymour, Deep Cove, Northlands Golf Course and Cates Park are minutes away, while Northwoods Village and Parkgate Village provide convenient access to grocery stores, restaurants and pharmacies. Downtown Vancouver is a 20-to-25-minute drive with easy access to Hwy 1.

The suite includes a full-size kitchen complete with a fridge, oven, dishwasher, microwave, espresso machine and all the accoutrements you’ll need to make a delicious meal. Cupboards are stocked with coffee, tea and a variety of condiments.

The living room is outfitted with a washer dryer, 55” flat screen TV, Amazon Echo for playing music via Bluetooth, as well as free WiFi. Access to WiFi and Netflix is free of charge. The couch also doubles as a sofa bed for sleeping two.

The bedroom includes a comfortable queen size bed, lots of pillows and a full-size desk. There’s a his and hers closet with pull out drawers and pant hangers located in the hallway, plus plenty of storage throughout the suite.

Free parking is available on the street in front of the house, the property is well lit after dark and the neighborhood is a quiet and peaceful family oriented setting. The suite is a pet free and smoke free space.

A one bedroom basement suite located near the newly renovated Sapperton Brewery District. Perfect for people looking for a place to stay near local medical services. The suite has a private entrance, basic rental suite amenities, and ample storage space for long-term stay. Skytrain is a 2 minute walk down the street (about 30 minutes to downtown Vancouver), bus stops are close by for easy transit as well as parking space. Restaurants, grocery stores liquor stores and more are walking distance.

Large bedroom on the main floor of the house with lots of natural light. Built in closets and a chest of drawers provide plenty of storage for your personal belongings. There is also a bar fridge in the room for your added convenience. A small sitting area, and a laptop stn is tucked away on the far side of the room. Luxuriously draped queen size bed takes center stage. All others facilities are on the main floor itself, i.ewashroom, living room and the kitchen. Laundry is in the basement.

It is set up as bed and breakfasts, please note that you are not renting the entire house. It is a home, and there are house rules that you will be expected to abide by. Weekday breakfast fare is typically something quick and easy like fruits, yogurt parfait, cereal, muffins, and/or croissants/bagel/Toast. Weekend fare can be more involved such as Egg Benedicts, Waffles, Pancakes,, Breakfast Burritos and/or Breakfast Skillets.

In your suite you will enjoy the comforts of home in a professionally decorated studio style living space. Our full size kitchen provides everything you need to make your own meals. Enjoy the included nespresso coffee and variety of tea’s. The space also has a compact washer and dryer in suite for your convenience. The 60” tv has Netflix, Disney and Prime with a Sonos sound bar that you can also connect to when you need mood music! For your comfort we have a ductless heat pump providing filtered air conditioning and space heating. The bathroom has some luxurious touches like heated floor and towel bar as well!

This suite is all yours! Parking is along side the property outside the fence and swing gate just steps to the suite entry door. You’re at ground level throughout the parking and suite areas with only a single step up into your suite. There is owner parking and a storage room near your guest house as well but not intrusive!

We are an active family of 5 living in the separate main house on the property and look forward to sharing our friendly neighbourhood and all the reasons why we’ve made Port Moody our forever home. Having lived here for more than 20 years we have lots of insight for you! The majority of our guests return time and time again to visit their family and friends or to discover and enjoy all that the Metro Vancouver area has to offer!
