The Aerie is the entire upper floor of our home with its own ensuite (toilet, shower, external sink and mirror and is ideal for up to four people, or for small families. The small balcony gives a fantastic view of the surrounding area. The suite contains a double bed and two single beds in an open Bedroom/Sitting room area. If the weather is cool, a gas fireplace will quickly warm up the entire floor. A record Chinook Salmon Run is predicted for Port Alberni, so fishermen should book early for August & September fishing. The area also offers fantastic hiking, Cathedral Grove, a cruise on MV Frances Barkley to Bamfield or Ucluelet and some great restaurants. Ucluelet/Tofino are within 102/138 km). This new guest cottage is just a 5 minute walk to the beach. There are beautiful ocean views from the deck, large french doors and huge windows. The decor has a boutique cottage feel. The farmhouse sink and high end appliances make this cottage a great place to cook and enjoy. This cottage is a very private separate building from our home, with a private hot tub in your own courtyard. It is a completely self contained, equipped space with everything you will need for a great stay!

The space
Our 400 sq foot cottage includes fisher paykel fridge, whirlpool stove, dishwasher, microwave and washer and dryer. Coffee, cold beverages, and condiments are provided. If you like to cook you will find all the pots and pans you need. There’s even supplies and a handheld mixer for the bakers. There is a private 2 person hot tub, with small backyard including a bbq and sitting area. There are two TVs, 55 inch in the living room and 43 inch in the bedroom, with cable tv and Netflix available. Bluetooth Bose speaker provides great sound. High speed Wireless internet throughout. The bathroom has a custom barn door, heated designer tile, and glass enclosed shower with separate high end rain head and handheld shower fixtures. In the bedroom you will sleep on a brand new, super comfortable mattress, covered in 500 thread count luxurious linens and feather duvet. There is a custom dresser to unpack your suitcase and make yourself at home. Two luxurious robes are provided to be used on your stay. The blue tooth, charging station alarm clock will get you up in the morning if you choose not to sleep in! Bedside lights with dimmers are located on either side of the bed. At night turn on the electric fireplace and dim the chandelier in the living room to create a romantic, cozy evening.

There is a key lock box at the entrance of the cottage. Guests will make their way down our driveway and along the fence line, down the paved path to get to the deck and the entrance to the cottage. Street parking is readily available. There is parking available in the driveway in front of the suite upon request.

Other things to note
The cottage has a very private courtyard which contains a hot tub and bbq for cottage guest use during your stay. Your stay will be in a very quiet, safe neighbourhood. The beach and neighbourhood coffee house are a 5 minute walk away. The closest shopping center is a 5 minute drive or 7 minutes on the bus, these are not within walking distance. This is a quiet neighbourhood location and will require transportation to shopping and the city Center. It’s got a great, close to the beach location but is located in a quiet neighbourhood setting with houses Close by.

Welcome to Dragonfly Rock guest suite. A comfortable and cozy detached suite located in the rural, artisan-friendly Cedar/Yellowpoint area. With the forest at your doorstep, it’s a peaceful spot to relax and unwind.
Our central location makes this an ideal home base for exploring. 8 minutes to the Nanaimo airport, 20 minutes to ferries and central enough for a day trip to Victoria, the west coast, beaches, trails and even Tofino. The Western Maritime Institute is a 10 min. drive.

The space
The suite is detached with your own private, heated patio that looks straight into the forest. Enjoy a beverage while watching the birds and squirrels at the bird feeders in front of you. In the summer, you’ll spot dragonflies circling overhead and tree frogs nestled amongst the plants.

This is a nature-inspired 320 square foot bachelors suite with a bright roomy feel. It has a queen bed, a full bathroom with a shower and on-demand hot water. The kitchen has a full size stove, microwave, coffee maker, bar fridge/freezer and everything you need to cook your own meals, on the days you are not out exploring the many tasty foods this area has to offer. A happy green couch is incredibly comfortable for lounging and a 42” TV can be angled to watch from either the bed or the couch. You have exclusive use of the covered and heated deck. We even have a level 2 EV charger available if it's not being used.

We provide self-check in by keypad, your own parking spot, and the unit is accessed by a short sloped pathway adjacent to the suite. Secure bike parking can be provided for cycling enthusiasts.

The suite is located between our home and an outbuilding, but has a very private, peaceful and quiet feel.

We have two dogs that are always under supervision when outside. If you love to throw sticks, Seamus will be more than willing to bring them back! Juniper the cat has an all-access pass to the property and may pay you a visit.

The pathway to the front door is bark mulch and has one set of stairs, if this access is a challenge an alternate paved route is available, but it has more stairs.

Our water supply is a reverse filtered rain water catchment system and we appreciate your efforts in water conservation during the dry season.

We have a nice forest walk for you to enjoy that leads to a beautiful open meadow and passes some very impressive Arbutus trees.

Our Guest house is nestled in the forest of beautiful Yellow Point only 20 minutes from Nanaimo Ferry Terminal or the Airport. Just minutes drive to the nearest beach, local markets, artisans and the popular Crow & Gate Pub. The 4 beds are bunk style all in one room perfect for a family with a 3-piece bathroom. The small kitchen includes a microwave, toaster oven, fridge, hot plate, crock pot, air fryer, kettle plus a Keurig for coffee. We offer a Smart TV, PS3, DVD's plus wifi and desk space.

The space
The Guest house is on two floors the downstairs is an open design, with a sofa, TV, Kitchenette and bathroom. Upstairs is also open loft style with all the beds in one open area, 1 double and 3 singles. A/C unit is available upstairs for warm weather. The modest space was designed for two parents and 2-3 children so can be a little snug for all adults.

Designated Parking right in front of your guest house, labelled "Pearls Perch". Your very own small private patio, picnic table and outdoor fire pit to enjoy! Bundles of wood $10, cash only when fires are permitted. Most local attractions are just a few minutes drive.

The Carriage house is located above the garage and is self contained. Beach accesses are walking distance from the property. The accesses both lead down to swimable beaches. Beachcomber Park is just down the road and has a swimming beach, forested trails and is a great place to scuba dive.

This immaculate guest house with its private deck and generous living space invite comfort. The space
There is a private entrance with a large closet as you enter. You will climb a flight of 18 steps to get to the suite, where you will find 1,200 sq ft of open living space. You will have amazing views of the farm with its large timbers as well as the golf course. The spacious 30ft by 12ft deck comes equipped with barbeque and seating for 8 and offers a private area with views of a small fruit orchard.

Kitchen- Spacious and bright, comes fully stocked with everything you need to cook a large meal. We provide salt, pepper, olive oil and a large selection of spices.

Laundry Room- washer, dryer, (soap is not provided). The washer and dryer are for checked in guests only. Small chest freezer, utility sink, and recycling bins.

Living Room- Loveseat and a queen size sofa bed with thick memory foam mattress, 50" smart TV with cable.

Sitting Area- relax in the nook in the corner, read a book and enjoy a beverage. Enjoy our selection of board games, kids books, puzzles and crib board.

We live in a very quiet neighbourhood close to town, shopping, beaches and hiking trails. It is a private suite attached to our house, with a separate entrance, full kitchen, comfortable living room with gas fireplace. The upstairs has a bedroom with queen bed, view of harbour and a day bed. The bathroom has shower/tub.
5 min drive into the town of Ladysmith, 1 minute drive to convenient grocery shopping, 30 minute drive to Nanaimo, 1 hour to Victoria and less than 10 minutes to the airport.

Welcome to our ocean front suite! We look forward to hosting you in our 750 square foot guest house overlooking the stunning ocean and mountain views in Ladysmith Harbour. In this private 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom suite you’ll find a fully stocked kitchen, in suite laundry, and a private deck where you can relax during your time away. In addition to the queen size bed in the bedroom, there is a pullout couch in the living room accommodating up to 4 guests.

There is a portable AC unit available in suite for guests to utilize during their stay. The unit is heated by electric baseboard, that are controlled separately for each room. There is also an electric fireplace that can be used with or without the heating feature.
