The space
This is an inclusive space and everyone will be made to feel welcome.

Look out onto the sunny garden and enjoy the chickens roaming around. Wildlife surrounds you-visiting dear, eagles above and the occasional coyote and bear. Please keep all food inside the cabin.

1km walk to the ocean or 3km along a quiet country road to the quaint village of Roberts Creek. A 10 minute drive to the seaside towns of Gibsons and Sechelt where there are many boutiques, cafes and restaurants. There are many great biking trails easily accessible.

The space
Our Orca Spirit Suite has been thoughtfully designed for couples to retreat to find pure comfort, nature, balance and harmony.

Please note we have a Tesla Charger and there is a Level 2 charger in Roberts Creek (3km).


Tucked into the southwest corner of mainland British Columbia, the Sunshine Coast is a 180 km stretch of paradise. Accessible by air or by ferry service at its north and south ends, the Sunshine Coast is part of the BC mainland, but has all the laid-back charm of island living.

The Coast Salish Orca Legend:
The symbol of the curved orca whale you see leaping into the air reflects the image the Coast Salish people of British Columbia would have seen first in their nightmares, but then, eventually, in their dreams. Keep it simpe at this peaceful and centrally located cottage in the heart of the creek. Less than a 5 min walk to the village. Relax and listen to the birds and water trickling down the rocks from the pond next to you on your private deck. Enjoy the heated floors, rain shower, bidet, gas fireplace and skylights throughout the cottage.

The space
We live on the property and the cottage is steps away, but the cottage is nearly private with it's own front porch, pond and a small fenced yard.

The kitchen is fully equipped minus a dishwasher. There is a Keurig coffee maker. Coffee, cream and tea is provided. There is also cooking oil, vinegar, sugar and some an array of spices. The second bedroom has a washer and dryer for use on long stays.

Other things to note
To use the washroom you have to walk into the primary bedroom.

Before you check out you have to do your dishes, sorry no dishwasher.

Relax at this unique and tranquil getaway full of luminous art. This cabin is designed for comfort and utility. Most suitable for a couple, room for 4 people. Only a 5-minute walk to the ocean beach, a 15-minute walk to central Roberts Creek and a short drive to plenty of majestic rainforest trails.

The loft features a king-size bed, only accessible by a ladder. A futon couch that folds into a double-size bed is in the main room. There is a small kitchen with basic amenities.

The space
Welcome to our cozy art cabin in beautiful and tranquil Roberts Creek. We, Simon and Jane, live in the house on this property. It is a kind of homestead with a garden, two cats and five chickens, and we ask that you please respect the features of our living space including all features and items in the yard by not using anything or letting kids play with anything of ours. There is a patch of grass beside the cabin, between the cabin and the trailer available to you that you can lounge in, or have kids play. The fire pit and that area of the yard are not available to guests.

The cabin features a king-size bed in a loft. The loft requires climbing up a small ladder, it is sturdy and safe, however, you also acknowledge the responsibility and risk for using this feature and liability if an accident occurs while you are climbing the ladder.

There is a futon couch in the main area of the cabin that folds out into a double bed.

The cabin bathroom features a shower, toilet and sink.

Guest access
You can park on the street out front, it’s not a far walk to the back of the property where the cabin is.

We live on a kind of homestead with a garden, cats and chickens, and we ask that you respect the features of our living space including all features and items in the yard by not using anything or letting kids play with anything. There is a patch of grass between the cabin and the trailer available to you that you can lounge in, or have kids play.
The fire pit and that area of the yard are off-limits.

We try to keep things tidy around the yard, but there are sometimes tools or utility items that might be in your view or around but will never be in your way.

We are on a septic system, so please don’t flush anything extra down the toilet and observe the instructions listed on the wall in front of it.

Garbage & Recycling:
If the garbage bin and recycle bin are full, and you need them emptied, please text us through the app and we will do this for you. We can’t have garbage bins outside due to animals.

Smoking:
Any kind of smoking is fine outside, just not inside the cabin.
Please put your smoking trash in the garbage inside, do not throw it on the lawn.

The Sleep Out is a completely seperate, renovated private guest house on our property 5 minutes from the beach. We provide a beautiful breakfast box filled with various items. Our bed & breakfast is a perfect space to accommodate couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids).

Our newly renovated guest house is located in the heart of Roberts Creek. It's a bright completely seperate dwelling on our property. We are a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 20 minute walk to central Roberts Creek where the Gumboot cafe & restaurant, post office, health food store, and general store ( which sells beer & wines) are located.

Guest access
The entire guest house is included along with the backyard space. There is a picnic table under the apple tree and adirondack chairs surrounded by our vegetable garden, blueberry bushes, raspberries and private laurel and cedar hedge.

We offer our guests a welcome basket filled with various goodies, including fresh eggs from our chickens, homemade jams, juice, milk, organic coffee & seasonal breakfast items for self serve.

Our studio is all set up for you to relax and unwind and is ideal for couples.
A cozy king size bed with skylights, a fireplace, a well stocked kitchenette, and 1/2 an acre of gardens and birds chirping. A 5 minutes walk gets you to Marlene Beach. We are 20 minutes from the ferry terminal, and a 20 minute walk to the Gumboot Cafe.
Head to the coast and discover the magic of Roberts Creek.

The space
The studio has a charm and peacefulness to it. We know the Creek is a special place to unwind and rejuvenate. We do live on the property and the studio is not secluded from the main house (50 ft). You do see our home from the studio patio. When you are in the studio you are 100% secluded and have full privacy. We live on 1/2 an acre and spend most of our time on the back side of the home (where we do not see the studio).

Note: kitchenette has toaster oven, fridge, hot plate, crock pot, kettle, Nespresso machine, dishes, excellent pots and pans, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, spices, jam. Let us know anything you need we will surely have it on hand for you in the main house. IGA is also 5 minutes away in Wilson Creek.

We have an Emtek lock on the door and the code will be sent to you. There is plenty of street parking on Kraus. A stroll to various beach access points will treat you to wonderful sunsets. We highly recommend ferry reservations.

Ocean view from the cabin - walk down the sloping lawn and stairs down to the beach. It is the perfect place to getaway, unwind, and spend time in our beautiful coastal surroundings. Watch the seals, otters and eagles play at our secluded beach. Swim or launch your kayaks, paddle boards or canoes from our property to enjoy the splendour of the Salish Sea. Arbutus Counselling service is onsite and massage are available, often times arranged in advance of your stay.

The space
The cabin is unique because it is nestled in the trees and is on the waterfront- a true West Coast experience. It is also an example of a tiny home.

Guest access
The cabin has a small wild plant yard and deck that is all yours. A privacy fence separates the cabin from the main house.

Other things to note
The cabin has limited electrical output and only a few lights or appliances can be on at the same time- guests need to keep this in mind.

The cabin is on a small septic system and it is important that only human waste and toilet paper are flushed- thank you.

Our kitchen nook has a one burner cook top and a toaster oven and is suited for basic cooking (a note for those planning a gourmet multi-course meal- planning and innovation is needed).

The floor is cold in the winter and I recommend bringing slippers. There are 2 pairs of size 9 Crocs at the cabin in case you forget.

Located minutes from the beach and a short walk to Roberts Creek village. BnB is pet friendly, we kindly ask for a $10/night fee paid direct upon arrival. A cute cottage, private and cozy, with large deck space to relax and enjoy. The space is designed for two adults with a new Beautyrest queen size bed. Children under 5 are welcome. The snack kitchen offers a small fridge( no freezer) coffee maker, kettle, toaster, and microwave, and a Weber gas BBQ is available for guest use. ( sorry, no stove top or oven). Breakfast is included. The bathroom has a fully tiled walk in shower, toiletries and robes are provided. Enjoying a hot tub , large beach towels provided and a wood burning sauna ( unless fire restrictions apply) make this retreat special. Pet friendly. Quiet and peaceful, yet moments to the beach and "The Creek". Many trails and walks in short range. A great getaway from the city.

The guests in the Chickenhouse cottage receive exclusive use of the hot tub, located directly and privately next to the cottage. A wood burning sauna is also offered, just ask and we will fire it up( except for extreme dry and/or fire restrictions). Guests are welcome to tour our 2 acre property, checking out the garden and forest areas and most importantly the beauty of Stephens Creek running through the property.
