Our private Cottage has one bedroom which includes a king size bed and a single vintage wrought iron daybed. We also have a pull out sofa in the livingroom which sleeps 2. We have a full size fridge, full oven, hairdryer, rain shower, netflix, parking & a breakfast/welcome basket which will include items for your self serve breakfast ( including fresh eggs from our flock of chickens). We have an outdoor space with a picnic bench under our old apple tree. We are in walking distance of central Roberts Creek which includes the gumboot cafe & restaurant, post office, health food store and general store ( which sells beer & wine). We are also very close to beach access right across the street about a 3 minute stroll.

Welcome to our 'Cedar & Sea Cottage' rental, nestled in the heart of an enchanting cedar forest and just a ten-minute walk from the beach. Immerse yourself in nature and experience the peace and tranquility this unique location offers.

The Space
Our two-story cottage's rustic Scandi charm will make you feel right at home. It's perfect for snuggling up with a good book or sharing a glass of wine with friends. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay.

Both bedrooms of this private two storey home feature comfy queen-size beds, ideal for couples, families, or friends. If you need space for a fifth guest, we can set up the Daybed in the living room, which converts from a couch into a cozy bed.

Guest Access
Step into our serene forested yard, where giant cedars loom and sway gently. For an additional fee, we can prepare our magical wood-burning hot tub next to a gentle creek, and 30 meters from our main house. We also have a registered massage therapist on site. Nearby Dorris Lane leads to a beautiful forest path that eventually spills out onto the ocean beach.

Wood-Fueled Hot Tub Experience

Thank you for your interest in our highly sought-after early evening hot tub experience! Before booking your accommodation dates, we kindly ask that you send us an inquiry to confirm the tubs availability.

For a fee of $150 CAD per night, and when available, we are delighted to prepare our wood-fuelled hot tub for you. Here’s why this unique experience is truly special and priced the way it is:

Preparing the hot tub is a labor of love, requiring about 5 hours of work. We refill the tub with every new guest using pure, chemical-free meltwater from our creek. To clean the tub, we use only natural Castile soap, a splash of vinegar, and plenty of effort, ensuring a mineral-rich, fresh water soak without any harsh chemicals. Heating the tub is equally detailed, requiring four large wheelbarrows of chopped wood to achieve the perfect temperature.

The result is an extraordinary experience: relaxing in pristine water warmed by a crackling wood fire, surrounded by the natural scents of the forest rather than chemical odors.

After each use, we return the water to the creek as pure as when we borrowed it, minimizing our environmental impact.

The setting itself is magical. Towering cedar trees sway overhead, and the ambiance is enhanced by the glow of candlelight. We can arrange cold beverages to complement your soak, and for those who enjoy cold plunges, there’s a refreshing pool in the creek just steps away.

Because the hot tub relies on a complex open-air wood stove, operation is handled exclusively by us. Please note that we cannot offer this experience during regional fire bans, which typically occur between June and October.

KITCHEN:
The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator. We provide basic cooking utensils, plates, and cutlery.

Please immediately wash and "HAND DRY" your dishes and wipe up any cooking messes as soon as you are done eating (drying towels are provided)

Give the table, stove and counter a wipe. Vinegar spray and Microsoft cloth under the sink.

Spray the stainless-steel sink with the spray, give it a good scrub and rinse

Dish soap is under the sink as are our scrubbers, etc

Help yourself to oils and spices

Please place all used towels in laundry room. Leave the bedding on the bed we will take care of it.

Garbage: there are replacement garbage bags under the sink. Send us a text and leave the bag outside the entrance to cottage and we will be sure to pick it up.

RECYCLING:
Recycling is next to the refrigerator. Place all recycling in it, we will sort through it later. Please text us if it needs to be emptied

ORGANICS:
Dispose of perishable items: If you've purchased any perishable items during your stay, make sure to dispose of them properly into the compost bag (Brown Bag) in the freezer. We will take care of it once you are gone. PLEASE NO PLASTIC BAGS OR ANYTHING OTHER THAN ORGANICS

DOG WASTE
Please place your dog poop, including bio degradable bags, in the green bin outside next to the front entrance. You will see the sing on top of the bin (DOG WASTE) NO GARBAGE OR ORGANICS IN THIS BIN PLEASE

BATHROOMS:
****Septic system – Please DO NOT FLUSH ANYTHING BUT TISSUE PAPER down the toilet as it will flood and you will be responsible for any plumbing / cleaning fees.

Please empty hair from the shower hair catcher into the garbage, every time you shower

Wipe down the shower tiles with the squeegee then give it a nice spray down with the shower

Hang up the bath mat

LAUNDRY:
The washer and dryer are located downstairs. Detergent is provided
You may notice a hum coming from the laundry room, this is our dehumidifier. If you find it affects the peace-and-quiet of your stay, by all means feel free to turn it off or ask us to come over to. We are always just a text away.

PARKING:
There is parking available in front of the Cottage

YARD ACCESS:
We would love for you to utilize the garden area around the creek behind the main house. There are some nice meditative spots including a cement bench near the creeks edge. This is also where your fire pit is located and the Hot Tub.

Do let us know if you would like to have a fire or if you would like purchase the WOOD BURNING HOT TUB EXPERIENCE.

DOGS:
Please pick up after your pup. There is a green bin next to the cottage entrance that you can place your waste into. PLEASE NO ANIMALS ON THE FURNITURE OR IN THE BEDS. IF YOUR DOG SHEDS, PLEASE USE THE VACUUM PRIOR TO LEAVING.

The Abode is a stylish, boutique cottage in the heart of the forest in the idyllic community of Robert's Creek, on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of BC. Newly renovated, with bespoke design and thoughtful features, this peaceful sanctuary was created as a retreat away from the busy city for discerning guests. It is fully equipped, and features an 8ft cedar barrel sauna in the backyard, looking out into the lush forest. It is only a short walk to the beach, and centrally located to amenities.

Robert's Creek is an idyllic community on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. There is a quaint cafe called the Gumboot cafe and restaurant close by, as well as a general store open 12 hours a day, and several shops. The cottage is close to the ocean, and many breathtaking hikes nearby such as Cliff Gilker Park or Dakota Ridge for hiking in the summer and snowshoeing or xc skiing in the winter. The nearby towns of Gibsons and Sechelt have every civic amenity and restaurants/stores you would expect in a city.

From the Abode, the trail at the end of the driveway is a short trail that ends at Malcolm Creek which is a cascading rock waterfall in rainy months, with a shallow basin and bridge there. It’s quite beautiful. The trail also connects to Woodley Road which connects to Lower Road which then further connects to several beautiful public beach access points. Try Metcalfe access point off Lower, or Stevens. This time of year it’s pretty low tide and sand bars in certain spots.

We know the Coast well and are happy to recommend activities, including secret beaches and hikes to our guests.

Guests have access to the entire Cottage including almost 2 acres at the bottom of the property.

The Abode is a spacious 900sf cottage with luxurious design features including in floor heating throughout, queen beds with washed linen coverings, turkish cotton towels, and a rainfall shower. The kitchen is custom built, and is equipped with japanese stoneware, high end cookware and cutlery as well as a Nespresso machine and teas. An 8 ft Cedar barrel sauna sits in the lush forest behind the cottage, as well as a barbecue and outdoor seating area. You'll find everything you need in the Cottage whether it's for an escape to think in solitude, or to experience the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

Our cottage is directly connected to a provincial trail that leads to a waterfall within a 5 minute walk, and the beach at the ocean within a 15 minute walk. It is secluded, yet centrally located halfway between Sechelt and Gibsons, as well as the quaint Robert's Creek community within a 4 minute drive.

Our cottage can easily accommodate up to 3 vehicles for parking on the property. The community has a municipal bus service, but no Uber or riding sharing services. Taxis are not common either, but can be arranged on advanced notice.

Please keep in mind that our beds can seem firm for those who are used to a soft mattress.

It was a very muddy trek to get to the sauna but it was a great experience and nice after a day of snowshoeing! A short walk to get to the wonderful beach! Overall a great little place and I would recommend it!"

The top floor of our gorgeous cottage right on the water on Beach Ave's quiet and quaint neighbourhood.
This is the top floor only as I have caretakers living downstairs. This is for a family of four or five or a group of friends wanting a getaway to relax and enjoy stunning water views and engineless sports. Summer activities, golf nearby, hiking trails. Walking distance to the charming Roberts Creek village and the Wednesday Rain or Shine market! The popular Gumboots Cafe and Restaurant are less than 400 meters away!

Views of the ponds and across the water to Vancouver Island are stunning!Although quiet and rural the Cottage is only a 5 minute drive from coffee shops, restaurants and grocers. Soames Hill is a 5 minute drive away providing over 5 kilometres of trails. You can choose either a moderate hike or a strenuous one. If hiking to the summit allow between 20 to 30 minutes each way. From the top, you can see all the way out towards Keats Island and beyond to Vancouver Island. It is so worth the hike. Also 5 minutes away is Gibson's Harbour(lower Gibson's) where you can stroll the water front and checkout local restaurants,like the famous Molly's Reach as well as other shops and artisans .

Getting Around

Most guests arrive by car, although there is a transit stop. The nearest bus stop is the West Reed road stop which is a 5 minute (uphill ) walk to & from the property.

The space
Willow Cottage is the perfect place for your Sunshine Coast get-away! Featuring a King bed, Queen bed and two comfortable futons, and with over 1000 square feet and high ceilings, there is more than enough room for a group of up to four people.

A full bathroom, as well as powder room, ensure a comfortable stay.

Open-plan living space is clean and modern. Willow Cottage has a full kitchen with gas range, microwave and dishwasher, as well as in-suite laundry facilities.

There is Wifi and cable TV as well as the ability to sign in to your Netflix account.

There is also an outside eating area for those warm, sunny evenings and a cozy gas fireplace for winter stays.
Guest access
You will have complete use of the entire cottage. There is also an outside area (grass and small patio). You are also welcome to wander along our semi-groomed woodland trail (10 mins round trip, one tree trunk to climb and walk along).
Other things to note
There is an additional fee of $50 per set if you require additional bedding for either or both of the futons. Please let us know at the time of booking if you require the futon bedding.

Sorry, we are unable to accommodate pets as we have two dogs on the property.

Check in is from 3pm (to 7pm) and check out is 11am. We are not able to have early check ins or late check outs.

The space
The entire guesthouse is yours to use and is situated on a large 3-acre property with two other homes, including the caretaker’s residence. The cottage features a primary bedroom on the main level and a loft/second bedroom on the second level, if you have guests who are comfortable with stairs; both bedrooms have queen-size beds. The cottage features a private deck and a separate driveway. The main living space is open-concept, and the living room is equipped with a smart TV, with access to Netflix. High-speed WIFI is available throughout the cottage. The bathroom has been recently updated and has a stand-up shower.

You will have full access to the cottage and the surrounding garden/yard. There is also a private driveway.

Other things to note
The stairs to the loft may not be suitable for all as they are steep so please exercise caution when using them. We are unable to provide a baby-gate/lock. We welcome families/children and are able to provide a high-chair and travel crib, if required.

This special cottage was built in 1920 by Robert Stephens, an early settler. The walls and floors are built with old growth fir and still retain their warmth and character. It has been totally renovated with a love for its history. New windows and screens on the porch offer the perfect place for a nap. Stephens Creek runs through the property and Stephens Beach is just round the corner with downtown Roberts Creek a 5 min walk away. Unique with its water view, woodlands and bubbling creek.

The space
This lovely home has the original old growth fir floors and walls, cooling cupboard, and of course the clawfoot tub and bathroom sink. Whenever possible its original construction was preserved. Its warmth and energy is apparent from the moment you step foot on the property. There is an ocean view and the sounds of Stephens Creek running through the lower end of the property. The front porch is filled with sunlight on a sunny day and perfect for an afternoon nap while listening to the creek. A queen size bed in the master bedroom but please be aware that one of the windows of the master bedroom opens to the front porch where the futon couch resides and provides a double bed for extra guests. Also please note that the porch is unheated and not usable as an extra sleeping space in the cooler weather. The stove is 24 inches which means you can do all that you need except roast a bigger bird or choose to do your roasting on the Weber grill. We are on a septic system so nothing in the toilets except human waste and TP. It is self check in.

Roberts Creek with its Gumboot Cafe, Gumboot Restaurant, health food store, and the Roberts Creek General Store is a five minute walk down the road. the Gumboot Restaurant is also a commissary with one of the best wine selections on the Coast. They have a great take out menu which can be eaten outside or off site. Lots of goodies inside so take a look. Stephens beach is also just around the corner and is a sandy beach at lower tides, and once there you may continue walking westward to Roberts Creek beach. You are five minutes to Highway 101 to access other areas of the Coast. Cliff Gilker Park and the Sunshine Coast Golf and Country Club are minutes away. Biking trails are within easy reach. It is a private setting that invites rest and relaxation.

Other things to note
This is a non smoking property which means no smoking anywhere. Please remove your shoes when in the house. Shoes may be left in the entrance way. During the winter months you will appreciate bringing your slippers or indoor shoes. We strive to be zero waste and appreciate any assistance to that end.

This sunny cabin is two blocks away from the beach and a 20 min stroll to the Gumboot cafe. But with 2 wood-burning fireplaces (one inside and one out!), a hot tub and full kitchen, there's no reason to leave this cozy nest.

The space
A bright, open concept, modern space surrounded by luscious greens. Perfect for couples. We are located minutes away from the beach, the forest and the village (with a restaurant, general store, yoga studio and more.) No car? No problem! Public transit will get you from downtown Vancouver to our door in less then 3h.

The bed has a Queen size natural latex mattress.

Please enjoy the two fireplaces! We will provide you with one bundle of wood to get you started and you can easily buy some more at our local IGA.

The studio is unfortunately not wheelchair/walker accessible. There is a few steps leading to the front deck. The path between the parking spot and the studio can sometimes be muddy.

Roy Road Cottage is set on the backdrop of our waterfront property just a 5 min drive to the centre of Roberts Creek & a 15 minute drive to the Langdale ferry terminal. We have private beach access right off the property. Well off the main road our waterfront acreage is a wonderful place to relax and rejuvenate. Our cottage is perfect for couples, business & solo travelers as well as families with or without kids. We are open to long term rentals over the winter. Please enquire about pricing.

The space
Nestled in at the end of a private lane our cottage is both private and quiet. With high vaulted ceilings and lots of windows you will find it very spacious and bright. Both bedrooms have queen sized bed beds with comfortable mattresses, plus there is another queen mattress bunk room off of the second bedroom. There is a queen sized Murphy bed in the living room as well as a pull out sofa bed in the living room. The sofa bed is most comfortable for children. We also have a travel crib, a high chair and a closet full of children's toys. There is a television both in the living room and the master bedroom. Both do not have cable but instead have Netflix and Apple TV for your entertainment. We also have a SONOS audio system. The kitchen is fully stocked with a new stove, oven, full fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Washer and dryer are also on site. Bathroom has a walk-in shower but no bath tub. The large patio is perfect for having a BBQ and enjoying a summer evening. Please note that there is no view of the ocean from the cottage. The cottage is surrounded by a grassy area and a path takes you down to the beach in minutes. There is enough parking for up to three cars, more if necessary. We are always open to suggestions on adding additional features to our cottage. We hope to make it a perfect retreat all year round.

The space
Our home is the perfect city getaway and has lots of outdoor space including a fire pit, a portable propane fire pit, and a bbq.

There are two bedrooms with queen sized beds, one bathroom with a luxurious waterfall stand alone shower, a living room with a wood stove (wood supplied), a smart TV with AppleTV and Chromecast, and lots of throw pillows and blankets to cuddle up with on cooler days.

Our kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils you may need to inspire your inner chef (except a microwave). Enjoy your morning coffee or breakfast out on the covered back deck surrounded by lush greenery.

Our home is tastefully decorated & incredibly relaxing. We hope you will feel like this is your home away from home!

The guests have access to the main level of the house and the back of the property. The back yard is fully fenced and there are lots of relaxing hang out spots. There is a portable propane fire pit that can be placed on the back deck or in the designated fire pit seating area (you will still be able to use the propane fire during the fire ban season).

There are Sonos speakers inside and on the back deck for guests to use. There is a bench swing under the grape vines - the perfect place to read on a sunny day. Our large property is perfect for challenging friends or family to croquet, bocce ball, etc. (BYO)

Other things to note
Our property’s driveway is just off the Sunshine Coast Hwy. Throughout the day, the traffic noise is audible, especially during peak times, but it is quiet at night. The large trees and the creek mute some of the traffic noise, especially in the slower seasons. See reviews from previous guests.

Please note, we have a motion sensor light and security cameras at the front of our property.

We’ve made a few cosmetic updates to our home that haven’t been updated in photos (kitchen lighting, main bedroom paint and small furniture, etc.) but we’re sure you’ll appreciate them!

The Abode is a stylish, boutique cottage in the heart of the forest in the idyllic community of Robert's Creek, on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of BC. Newly renovated, with bespoke design and thoughtful features, this peaceful sanctuary was created as a retreat away from the busy city for discerning guests. It is fully equipped, and features an 8ft cedar barrel sauna in the backyard, looking out into the lush forest. It is only a short walk to the beach, and centrally located to amenities.

The space
The Abode is a spacious 900sf cottage with luxurious design features including in floor heating throughout, queen beds with washed linen coverings, turkish cotton towels, and a rainfall shower. The kitchen is custom built, and is equipped with japanese stoneware, high end cookware and cutlery as well as a Nespresso machine and teas. An 8 ft Cedar barrel sauna sits in the lush forest behind the cottage, as well as a barbecue and outdoor seating area. You'll find everything you need in the Cottage whether it's for an escape to think in solitude, or to experience the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

Our cottage is directly connected to a provincial trail that leads to a waterfall within a 5 minute walk, and the beach at the ocean within a 15 minute walk. It is secluded, yet centrally located halfway between Sechelt and Gibsons, as well as the quaint Robert's Creek community within a 4 minute drive.

Discover the Sunshine Coast from our cozy cottage conveniently located in Roberts Creek, between the towns of Gibsons and Sechelt. Ideal for families, our charming retreat offers a games room with billiards, ping pong, and foosball. Children can enjoy our spacious yard while their parents gather around the cozy fire pit and spend the evening in the hot tub with a nice cold beverage. Pets welcome!

The space
The main floor features an open concept kitchen with a dining table, a cozy living room with a L shaped pullout couch, two bedrooms and a large bathroom.

Two more bedrooms and a bathroom up the spiral staircase!

Sliding door leads to a large 400 square foot deck with a hot tub, dining table, and gas bbq. Our deck is half covered to simultaneously accommodate those who love to tan and those who hate to burn!

Our large yard has plenty of space for kids and/or pets to run around, a badminton net, and a custom smokeless fire pit.

The basement features a pool table, ping pong table, foosball table, and L shaped couch. It is also very noticeably cooler on those hot sunny days!

The driveway is large enough to accommodate 5-6 cars.
