Waterfront cottage on the beautiful Fraser River in Hope BC! Heritage house built in 1940 and fully renovated keeping its character. Tree suspended deck with world class views of mountains and the mighty Fraser! Short walk to all the quaint shops in town and the beautiful city park. Kawkawa Lake a 10min drive away. Lots of good hiking including the Kettle Valley Railway trail. House has 1 bedroom on main floor with a queen bed. Entire upstairs is the master suite with king bed. Additional sleeping space in detached office/room.

MORE DETAIL: When entering through the carport entrance, there is an entry room with spacious closet.

The main floor has a living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom (with large tub/shower) and queen bedroom. The closet in the queen room has extra towels, and there is also a cabinet with toys/games.

The top floor of the house contains a spacious room complete with king bed, toddler bed and play corner, as well as a small reading nook.

In the backyard, guests will find a yellow mini house that has a storage shed off the back and a sitting room / office facing the river.

There are two decks to enjoy:
1) The suspended tree deck with the Adirondack chairs.
2) The deck off the dining room which has a bbq and a patio table (stored in shed during winter).

It was a little chilly to spend too much time outdoors, but the patio and deck would be really nice in warmer weather. Welcome to our creekside cottage!

This cozy home is situated on over an acre and the backyard backs onto Silver Creek. Sit down by the creek and take in the peacefulness of the water, or sit under the gazebo and take in the sights of nature around you or enjoy an evening by the campfire gazing at the stars and making memories!

Bring your axe and chop some firewood for the outdoor fire pit or the wood stove.

The space.
Located in Silver Creek, our home is set on a small acreage and the home was recently renovated.

The home features 1 bedroom with a King Bed, an oversized sectional in the Living Room, and both a Queen bed and Single daybed in the Sun Room. There is also a single cot available if needed as well.

The kitchen is well equipped with appliances, pots and pans, utensils and dishes.

Enjoy the outdoor spaces as well - have your morning coffee at the gazebo, sit by the campfire at night or spend some time down at the creek during the day.

Guest access
You will be the only group on the property when you book the cottage. You can park anywhere on the driveway and parking area.

You are welcome to walk down to the creek, but do so at your own risk. In the spring time, the creek is quite fast flowing.
Other things to note
There is a BBQ for your use. A propane tank is available; however, you will need to fill for your use.

There is a wood stove and outdoor fire pit. There may be some wood at the property, but we advise guests to prepare and bring their own fire wood if they would like to use those facilities. If you feel like chopping wood - there may be some on the property - just bring y our own axe.

PLEASE do not leave any food or garbage outside as it attracts wild life and we want our guests to be safe.

Welcome to Cosy Cabin in the woods at the Lake. We are 1/2 block from the lake. You get this fully equipped cabin to yourself. There is a majestic creek that runs through the backyard. The cedars and firs that surround most of the property are majestic and offer some shade when needed. This property comes with a large firepit and a wood burning pizza oven. The backyard offers a large deck with shade and the front comes with a large patio for larger gatherings.

This cosy cabin comes with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The cedar walls in the livingroom and diningroom offer a very cosy feel. All bedrooms come with blackout blinds. The kitchen is equiped with many extras. On a rainy day just sit back and enjoy binging on Netflix or playing a game. There is a desk and wifi for any work needs.

Parking for 4 cars. RV and Boat parking next to house. Cost for RV Parking $50 per night.

PIZZA OVEN EXPERIENCE
I will come and fire up the pizza oven one hour before pizza's are to be cooked. I will supply 10 pizza shells. I will cook the pizza's for you. This process could take up to 3 hours. The cost will be $100.00

Guests have private access to the main floor and upstairs of the house. There is a Laundry Room in the basement that is available.

The Mini House on the property has a porch swing and small, heated, sitting room with a desk and hideabed. This room is great for reading, working remotely, and yoga/meditation. By request, it could be used as additional sleeping space but there is no bathroom in the mini house.

Bikes (3) and air pump are available in the storage area of the mini house.

There is private access through the backyard down to the beach. There is a big step at the bottom!

The unoccupied basement is not included as part of the rental and is only used for our personal storage.

Welcome to Kawkawa Lake- a fully equipped deluxe wood cottage nestled between trees, streams & forest and close to the lake and to Manning Park for skiing. The whole cottage is for guest use including a gourmet kitchen, dining area, living room with fireplace, a TV room, & 3 bedrooms, 2 sofabeds & fast WIFI with dedicated workspace. Enjoy the gas BBQ, outdoor gas fire pit, and outdoor dining area on the patio. Self check-in. Extra cleaning and disinfecting measures in place.

The space
This place is my retreat to relax and connect with nature. There is a little stream that runs through the property. Even if the weather is bad, you can just stay in, light the fireplace and enjoy the peaceful setting with views of mountains and forests, cook, relax, have a glass of wine and binge-watch Netflix. There is a outdoor firepit too. The space is PERFECT for REMOTE WORKING or working from home. The cabin has high speed fiber optic internet connect and has been updated for the COVID context of remoting working with one full workstation with comfy office chair, monitor, keyboard and mouse for which you can plug into your laptop. There is another desk in the main bedroom. With 1 bedroom and a bathroom downstairs, it is a good place for guest with mobility challenges.

Guest access
The whole house and outside patio areas are for guest's use. Please note that the storage area underneath stairs is not guest use . The 3 sheds outside are not for guest's use except for garbage room. Waste And recyling bins are in a dedicated storage area by carport is where you put your garbage, organic waste and recycling.

Other things to note
The cabin is in a very beautiful relaxing setting close to nature and woods. As such, it is important to ensure that garbage is handled properly not to attract animals. Guests are asked to keep their garbage inside during your stay. Please following garbage and recycling instructions. Also internet maps does not have the address accurately pinned--you will overshoot the place by about 50 metres so look for the address when you are getting close.
