Opening June 2024! Our BC Approved, traditional Bed and Breakfast is in Lake Cowichan, near Skutz Falls. Situated on 5 private acres which backs on to the Cowichan Valley Trail. We have converted the top floor to a private area for guests. This area includes three bedrooms with two bathrooms. We are only renting out this space to one group at a time to ensure your privacy. The Great Room/ Living room on the main floor is also primarily for our guests. This is where a continental breakfast will be served. In this area there is a coffee bar, an apartment sized refrigerator, and microwave. Guests have the use of our barbecue on our deck and use of our gazebo. Explore our private trails, seasonal creeks, and say hi to our pet ducks, chickens and rooster Georgio! You may see a black bear or Roosevelt elk! Please note that we live in a area where there are black bears, cougar and elk. Please note that we do have an electric fence around our ducks and chickens (Rooster).

It doesn't matter what time of year you visit, there is always plenty to do.

The space
IMPORTANT NOTE: The king bed is in a loft area with steep stairs leading up to it and are not suitable for young children or those with mobility issues. The railing in the loft is low and may pose a safety risk to young children. Although the roof is vaulted in the loft, it is still quite low (approx 6ft in the centre of the vault and tapers down to approximately 30" on the sides). There is a queen sofa bed in the living area for those who are not able to use the stairs. Please take these important safety warnings into consideration when booking.

Other things to note
The property is located near the Honeymoon Bay Volunteer Fire Department. The firehall still uses a siren system to alert firefighters of an emergency or practice. The alarm can sound quite ominous, but please be assured that it is simply a way of notifying firefighters to come to the firehall.
