This little corner of the property is truly the zen space! Far away from the main house and bunkhouse but close enough that you can get to the sauna / hot shower in a short walk along the forest trail.
The tent spaces comes with everything you need to enjoy your visit. We have a propane cooktop/BBQ, pots, pans, dishes, fresh drinking water, power, and wifi access.
A cute and clean compost toilet is also short walk away.

A cabin adventure on the water!
Cruise along the 30kms of Lake Cowichan. Every location is your location of choice including staying at the dock if you choose, fish, paddle board, swim, right from the deck of your ever changing waterfront paradise. Beach your vessel @ night for nightly sunsets. Surrounded by pristine mountains Cowichan Lake is a jewel of Vancouver Island. Pick a new view of pristine Lake Cowichan and its breath taking beauty everyday as you float along in your fully equipped cabin on the water.
If you decide to stay at the marine you will have full shore power for lights, fridge, freezer and hot water.
Once you are underway these amenities switch to propane and continue to provide you with the comforts of home.
What ever floats your cabin's lower level has a full kitchen, indoor bathroom and outdoor shower. There is a queen pull out couch and the kitchen table folds down to sleep 2 smaller people.
Barbecue the fresh fish catch of the day on the cabins front porch.
2 paddle boards are provided.
After swimming in the turquoise waters of Cowichan Lake, sun yourself on the upper deck or sit and read a book under the shade arbour.
Beaching the cabin at night allows for a campfire while the sun sets in hews of red, orange and yellow.
A portable gas fire pit is provided.
This is your private cabin. Once you leave the marina you are alone to create a holiday adventure. The lake is your daily oyster and the beach is your evening perch. **Boats must be beached 2 hours prior to sunset. A the beach enjoy an evening swim, paddle board (2 paddle boards provided) or have a campfire with a portable propane fire pit that is also provided.

If you're thinking of using the cabin as an accommodation and not leaving the dock you may want to explore some of the local vibe.
The village of Lake Cowichan, is a hidden gem. Located on the east end of Lake Cowichan just west of Duncan. A quaint coffee shop, waterfront dinning at Jakes on the lake, J and V's burger, fishing, parks, beaches, swimming and hiking are just a few reasons to spend some time here. Half moon bay Saturday market, local artisans, pastries, produce and more. Visit Kaatza Station Museum for a little history tour.
You may choose to stay docked in the marina during your adventure and swim from the boat, Sun yourself and read a book on the upper deck, B.B.Q and or prepare meals on board or take day drips from this locations.
If you will be spending your days on the water or pulled up on one of the many beaches along the shores of Cowichan Lake then you will need all your food and water provisions to be on board.
On a 7 day journey you will need to come back to the marina to empty the septic and refill fuel on average during day 4.

*Your reservation is held for a period of time (approximately 24 hours) while
all authorizations are completed. If these are not completed within the

At least one party member must be 23 years of age or older and have a valid drivers licence. One member must have a valid boating licence or a temporary pleasure craft licence can be provided for $35. A prescheduled orientation at the marina prior to departing will be organized after booking is complete.
