The space
Seascape is a beautiful oceanfront Hotel property comprised of 5 different rental units. Communal areas of the property include the private dock, beach access, and the front grassy area and deck overlooking the ocean. Each of the units also has it’s own private outdoor areas. There is also a shared/communal laundry facility on site to be used between the hours of 9AM-7PM. 

We provide 2 complimentary kayaks, available on a first-come, first-served basis, so you can enjoy paddling along the scenic waters. Additionally, we offer crab traps for guests who'd like to try their hand at catching fresh Dungeness crab right off the dock, an authentic coastal experience!

Indulge in stunning sunset views over Sooke Harbour, whether from the terrace or the expansive 200-foot dock—perfect for capturing unforgettable photos! Keep an eye out for playful seals and occasional orca sightings in the basin, and unwind to the soothing sounds of waves along the shore.

Bring your fishing rods or crab traps to try your luck at catching Dungeness crab right from the dock!

For parking, one reserved spot is available for your convenience. Any additional vehicles can use the free street parking nearby.

Located just 13 minutes past Sooke just off the beautiful West Coast Road, Flowerstone is perfectly situated for your stay while exploring the South West coast of Vancouver Island.
Local highlights include Otter Point lookout a short walk away and Gordon’s Beach just a 3 minute drive where you are free to stroll the shoreline. We are just a block away from the very popular Whiffin Spit Park. Popular for its 3km looped shoreline walk between the Sooke Harbour and the Juan de Fuca Straight. It’s a breath taking view that is compellingly different every day. We offer beach chairs, beach towels, a beach bag and a small cooler for your beach and picnicking needs.

The Sooke Harbour House is 1/2 block away and we are excited to see that they have reopened open their doors! This will give the added bonus of fine dining and or casual cocktails just steps away from your front door!

I’d like to share some of my very favourite things I’ve experienced here: mornings on my front porch taking in the smell of the ocean and listening to the sea lions barking on the beach below; listening to the waves crashing down on the beach and the rocks tumbling back into the ocean; sharing my front lawn with a family of deer while they rest and nibble on the grass; being lulled to sleep by an owl sitting in the nearby tree; and we’ve even heard wolves howling in the distance while sitting around the campfire. If you sit quietly, there are so many amazing sounds around us. Listen and enjoy 🤫

Welcome to Otter Point Coastal Cottage, a one-of-a-kind residence nestled in the forest overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The Cottage sits on an acre and a half of land with an expansive view of Straight of Juan de Fuca, and the snow-capped U.S. Olympic Mountain Range.

You will have a front row seat to the majesty of the west coast. From many viewpoints throughout the property you can see and hear abundant marine life, tranquil sunsets, moonlit waters and enjoy exhilarating storm watching.

The space
Our guest cottage is situated near the top of our property and is very private. A hilly path guides you to the main entrance of the cottage. Inside the cottage you will find an open concept layout with a bedroom with a Queen bed, living room with pull out sofa,dining area, kitchenette and bathroom with tub and shower. A curtain can provide privacy between bedroom and living space. Kitchen area has a small fridge, dishwasher stove top and small digital air fryer oven . There is a BBQ for your use and you can enjoy views of the Shirley Lighthouse from the front deck. Hosts live on the property in a seperate home a few hundred yards away from the guest cottage and are available to help with any trip planning or questions.

Guest will have access to the entire cottage and outside space surrounding the cottage. A door code will be provided after booking for an easy arrival.

The secondary bedroom has a Queen sized futon mattress bed, dresser, closet, and a workstation with a desk, chair and lamp for a private place to study or work. In the hall is a linen closet and access to the bathroom with a walk in shower and in floor heating. The open concept living, dining and kitchen area has a vaulted ceiling and boasts beautiful greenery views to the East and Ocean view of the Sooke Ocean Basin and Sooke Foothills to the North! This full size kitchen includes a pantry, fridge, freezer, microwave, gas range, gas oven, and a large spacious island. Enjoy eating at the sofa table (up to 3 people) or at the island (also set up for 3 people) or when wether permits, in the outside patio area (up to 6 people at the outside dining table). Relax on the comfortable sectional (which can pull out to a queen sized bed), and enjoy the fireplace, free WiFi, and cable/Smart TV service. The suite is temperature controlled via a heat pump (so cool in the summer and warm in the winter) with supplemental baseboard heat in the bedrooms. Tilt & turn european style windows allows you to control fresh airflow.

Guests have full and private access to the suite, the covered deck with the entrance to the suite, the backyard seating (including natural gas firepit), outdoor dining area ,and the gazebo covered hot tub. For guests travelling with canine companions, there is a fenced, grass area on the north east side of the property, as well as Whiffin Spit park (only a 2 minute walk away) where dogs are permitted off leash. This 950 sq ft cottage was completely renovated in 2021, recycling old growth wood everywhere. A net-zero modern farmhouse that sits on 2.5 acres overlooking fields. Steps away from the Sooke River & at the 44 km marker on the Galloping Goose. Two bedrooms and one bath, incredible kitchen with high end finishing- a perfect bit of luxury on the west coast. Private and secure garden with BBQ.

We are on the Galloping Goose at the 44 km marker and about 200 m from the Sooke River. There is plenty of parking for your car with a dedicated EV charger just for you. Plenty of bike parking and exterior outlets for your e-bikes.

This is an intimate cottage on 1.2 acres on Sooke Basin. Although it's a shared property, the cabin is quiet and very private.

New private hot tub and free kayak usage.

Galloping Goose Trail is across the street. Nearby fabulous restaurants and beaches. 25 minutes to downtown Victoria.

The cabin can be used year round. Due to the the terrain, the property is only suited for adults. No pets or smoking.

The space
Open concept living, kitchen and dining rooms. Kitchen is fully stocked with kitchenware. Keurig coffee and Tazo tea provided. Bodum coffee press also available. Indoor fireplace (chopped wood or Duraflame logs included). New washer and dryer (Tide and fabric sheets provided). Bathroom has a shower and separate tub. Unscented toiletries provided. Every room has a view of the water!
