- "The property seemed to have a lot of potential. Nice sized cabins in a lovely location. Lily, who welcomed us was lovely and very accommodating. There were several problems with the accommodations. First, our unit was not cleaned when we arrived. The garbage was completely full, the bed sheets did not look as though they had been changed, and under the bed had not been swept.The shower had used soap and hair in it. There were wet washclothes, deoderant and toiletries left behind by the previous guests that were not removed. Second, communication from the host was challenging. Finally the biggest disappointment was that there was no potable water. The accommodation was 21 km from town, there was no warning prior to arrival, nor any bottled water to drink for guests. We arrived in the evening with 2 kids and a dog with no water available to drink. I also felt uncomfortable with one of the guests who appeared to run a distillery on sight. I would strongly discourage anyone from staying at this property. We were booked for 2 days but left after the first night."

They say no pet or smoking on the property but when I pulled in there was people that live there that have dogs and were out side smoking. Can’t drink the tap water. Located in a quiet area but close to main roads enjoy this 2nd floor suite with sea views. Close enough to the water to go for a stroll, paddle board or kayak and not too far a drive to local restaurants and shopping. Lots of mountain bike and walking trails not too far away and a 23 minute drive south of town to the Saltery Bay Ferry or 5 minute drive to the Comox Ferry.

The space
The suite has a great balcony with bar seating to watch the amazing sunsets and water views or comfortable chairs to relax.

There is a one bedroom queen bed and a double pull out couch in the living room. The one bathroom is in the bedroom so it is not very private should there be extra guests on the pull out couch. Thus the suite is more suitable for a family with children or a close friend - not two couples.

The kitchenette is part of the main living area and has a medium sized fridge, microwave, electric element for a single pot or pan, air fryer/toaster oven, a drip coffee machine as well as a Keurig Coffee maker for pods with a milk frother or you have the ability to use your own coffee (included is a mix of pods and coffee for drip coffee machine included). Oil, selection of teas and salt and pepper condiments are also in the suite.

There is a small Weber grill available to use downstairs in the backyard where you can enjoy more seating to dine and lounge under a lit canopy and on cooler evenings enjoy the fire table.

There is an excellent grocery store, deli and coffee store a short walk away that you can find everything you need and within a 10 minute walk you will be at Grief Point beach access where you can walk along the shore until you get to Sea Walk.

Guest access
There is a long driveway on the side of my home allocated for guests that can fit a trailer, boat and truck - all at the same time!

The suite is located at the back of the main house with access via the stairs to the sliding doors off the deck. The code will be sent to you the day before your arrival.

Other things to note
The couch is a double pull out best for 2 small children or one adult.

The bathroom is located in a hall that is part of the bedroom.

There is a large walk in closet in the bedroom for all your gear.

There is an iron, drying rack, picnic blanket and patio blankets.

The shed is available if you need to lock up bikes upon request.
