Once you are in the property it is so quiet and isolated which I prefer instead of normally busy Whistler village. Week before Christmas 2024 there was heavy snow and the entrance was completely blocked by 1-1/2 ft of snow. Maintenance person after 8am used a snowblower to clear a path to Lagoon main entrance. Underground parking has 2 sections / 2 gates. Identify which gate you should enter. Also no elevator from underground parking to street level, only narrow stairs. Not ideal for wheelchair/baby strollers. Not a problem for me. I have stayed in Lagoons many years ago and pre Christmas 2024. I would stay here again."

You can also take the free shuttle from the village to just outside the complex. SKI ACCESS:
Ski Out – Simply pick up your skis from the ski valet, walk past the hot tubs and out through the gate, clip on your skies for a less than 1 minute ski to the Blackcomb Gondola base to upload Blackcomb Mountain.
Ski In – off Lower Cruiser/Merlin's ski run on Blackcomb Mountain and enter through the same gate.

The Blackcomb Gondola is 30 steps from the back door of Le Chamois. To the right of the gondola is the Magic Chair, a favourite for beginners. To access Whistler Mountain, walk 5 minutes to Whistler Village or take the Peak to Peak Gondola from the top.
