- "Wonderful" - "We booked this cottage at last minute, thinking we can’t be picky as long as there’s 2 bedrooms and accepts dogs, one being 100 lbs. when we arrived, we were very pleased to see how nice the cottage is in person! The photos only resemble the cottage, and does not do justice! It is VERY clean, spacious bedrooms, one which opens up to the balcony and has a view. All amenities are well thought out, and there is no need to pack extra towels or blankets. Our highlight was definitely the wonderful balcony/patio. The view is just stunning. You have to use the hot tub, as you will have a very different perspective of the ocean from there, and ofc, the added pampering. They even provided a board to place at the stairs to enclose our dogs on the patio. That was very much appreciated. Karen was absolutely a gem, and went out of her way to make our trip memorable! The only reason why I gave a 4 for location is because the cottage is right next to a scenic view point, and you can hear the visitors. Otherwise, it is very convenient and close to everything. I highly recommend the seaside cottage ❤️"

Mariela has such an attention to detail, she did not miss a beat. After the fact of grocery shopping and purchasing a reusable bag, I discovered reusable grocery bags were in the hallway closet. She has a fully stocked kitchen, perfect enough to host a cooking show if you needed, especially with the granite island and two sinks makes for a gourmet setting. From an array of glassware, dishes, cutlery, mixing bowls, baking utensils, smoothie makers, coffee maker, kettle to boil water for your teas… all the way to having a stocked hot beverage drawer. The suite was no different, they have a fully stocked vanity in case you forgot items. We thoroughly enjoyed lounging on the two decks this suite offers. The pool was a hit by our kids. Street facing balcony offers a Peek a boo view of the ocean. Very prompt in responding to any questions or requests. Exceptional timing on achieving said requests. We felt we were in a private retreat that we could just unplug and have some quiet down time from our visiting with family and friends. The beds were very comfortable, the linens were soft and lush. The closets came equipped with robes (which I didn’t get a chance to indulge in) but the array of versatile hangers were welcomed as we were visiting due to attending my brothers wedding."

The space
We are located across from the Sea Walk an 8 kilometer path on the ocean side. It is paved and used by walkers, bikers, runners, skaters etc. We supply two bicycles for guests use. During the summer months watch the cruise ships go by. You may even see orca whales or humpbacks go by. Short term and longer term stays welcome
Guest access
There is a private entrance side of house for access to all the rooms. All rooms can be locked. We have a kitchenette with a microwave, fridge and a double induction cooker. There is also a barbeque outside. Canada Room and Asia Room shares bathroom downstairs. The Africa room has own bathroom. Grass area and firepit in yard (when fires permitted).
Other things to note
We are on the highway which gives us a terrific view of the ocean and Quadra Island. There is some traffic noise at various times.

Apartment is cool in summer and warm in winter, minutes from shopping, restaurants, hospital, college, ferry to Quadra Island, walking trails and much more.

The space
The two bedroom unit is entry level. It is spacious at approx. 700sqft and is equipped with most everything to make your visit comfortable. My three main goals are to provide COMFORT, CLEANLINESS, and CONVENIENCE to travelers.

if you are visiting for medical purposes, the apartment is wheel chair friendly with its wide hallways, large bathroom, open concept, and minutes from hospital and medical.

if you are visiting for work or pleasure, the location is central with easy access in any direction, on bus routes, with convenient off road parking.

Two bedrooms have queens and a double pull out sofa in living room. These are good quality and dressed in linens that are washed after guest including duvet covers.

Towels of different colors are provided so guests can remember which they used.

My cleaning of units has always been meticulous including every touch point disinfected, all removable linens laundered, sofas and chairs wiped down, etc. My motto less is more: more space, less clutter. I try to have only what is useful to guests to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible.

Guest access
The unit is entirely for your sole use while staying at Comfort Away from Home 2. The covered patio and fenced back yard is shared sometimes with other guests who may be staying next door at Comfort Away from Home and my two dogs Goldie and Charlie frolicking in the yard on occasion.

This is a respectful relatively quiet environment designed for comfort and relaxation.

Welcome to Elements Luxury Loft House. Our elegant property is centrally located in the Willow Point district in Campbell River. The loft rests directly across from the ocean with a direct view of the Quadra Island lighthouse.
Inspired by the complete renovation of our dream home and in conjunction with Elements Esthetic Lounge. We built this vacation rental to host wedding parties, professionals, international guests, project workers, and visiting families.

The space
The Loft House Suite: A two story house with master bedroom on main floor, an open concept living and kitchen area with a large sleeping loft and deck overlooking the ocean, mountains, and beautiful views of Quadra Island.
We also have a beautiful cedar sauna that fits up to 6 people looking over the creek out back!! You can message to reserve 90 min time slots!
Appointments are welcome upon availability for the sauna.

This Loft House was built with heart and soul! We put many custom wood finishes in the suite to make it reflect our beautiful West Coast location and true Campbell River feel.

Completed in November 2017, this space is a newer build with high-end finishes! We designed the suite to comfortably accommodate up to groups of 8 people. In the Loft House you will have everything you need to feel at home away from home. The suite features a laundry room right off the kitchen for you to use while you stay, with an array of natural cleaning products to keep the place fresh and clean.

If you enjoy cooking then you will love the kitchen in the suite! The space features calming views of the ocean in the front, which exhibits sights of cruise ships or orca pods passing by, and a relaxing scenery of Simms Creek, a natural and protected spawning run for our local salmon, in the rear.

The suite also features comforts for younger children; a highchair and pack & play crib are available upon request. Young children will have to be monitored at all times when on the second floor of the suite, as the suite does not offer baby gates or other safety measures.

The loft features ample parking space right outside the front door. Trailer and boat accessibility and space is available to suit your needs!

Our Loft House is only a 40 min drive to the slopes or trails of Mount Washington, a favourite destination for winter sports, bike trails or summer hikes!

If you want to walk on some sandy beaches or ocean trails, we are only a short 20 min drive to popular Miracle Beach or Stories Beach. If you prefer freshwater excitement, you are in luck! We are surrounded by beautiful lakes, rivers and swimming spots just a few short minutes from the downtown area. The loft is located on a beautiful sea walk, which shows the luxury coast.
