My only suggestion for improvement would be railings down the whole walkway to the water…there are some, but the grass was slick and steep, which made us a bit nervous with our kids. I definitely recommend the delicious breakfast at the near by Dolphins resort and make a res for dinner. We had a great spring break trip and would definitely stay again!"

Hike Paradise meadows in the summer or take the chair lift to the top. In the winter months enjoy a day of skiing at Mt Washington. Only a 40 minute drive.

Lovely new West Coast style home. "The Tiny West Coast Guesthouse" has 1 bedroom (not a loft). Open the doors to a fully equipped and modern space tastefully decorated with west coast decor.

Main living area features a 65" Fire tv, couch and chair and a well appointed kitchen which includes convection oven, induction stove, microwave, coffee maker, fridge etc.

There is also an area for a laptop setup with high speed wifi included.

The bedroom has a queen size bed, an "Android TV" and a window that opens for the nice evening breeze.

Your 3 piece bathroom has a lovely walk in glass door shower and lots of shelves for your personal items.

This cozy space is bright and airy with a slant roof/ceiling climbing to 16 feet at front. The french doors with built in blinds open to a lovely deck to sip your morning beverage and there is also a side patio to catch the evening sun.

Patio has a hot tub, a propane BBQ (on request) and a propane firepit (fall and winter months only) for your use.

The Tiny is surrounded by gardens and from your deck you will see eagles and herons often in the trees nearby. This property is a 2 minute walk across to the ocean.

The house is the stage for the incredible River views - each floor-to-ceiling windows is a picture frame for the artwork nature. We offers an unique experience of seeing and hearing salmon jumping out of the river right on your couch. Best place to be seeing Salmon Spawning.
The backyard offers very long bank line along the river. There are four dedicated fishing spots in the backyard. The widest River bank, slowest river current makes it the best place for fishing on Campbell River.

Our house is spacious with a fully equipped kitchen, gas range, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and separate laundry room. The dropleaf table provides that extra space when eating or doing a puzzle and can be tucked up against the wall when not needed. For those cooler evenings cozy up to the gas fireplace with a warm drink and a good book. When you’re good and tired from all that fresh air you can curl up on the queen size bed for the night. Outside you can enjoy sitting around a campfire at the beach(when fires are permitted) roasting marshmallows and making s’mores. We are a 20 minute drive to the base of Mount Washington ski resort that offers world class downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, snow-shoeing in winter and great mountain biking trails in the summer plus loads of other fun. Downtown Campbell River is a 20 minute drive north and downtown Courtenay is a 20 minute drive south. We are centrally located between both regional hospitals. You will find many fun and interesting things to do. The outdoor hiking opportunities, golfing, wineries, beaches, fishing and incredible adventures are endless.

The space
This is the upper level suite of this beautiful vintage home, so you do have to climb some stairs to get to your space. It is fully contained with its own full bathroom and complete kitchen. The private elevated covered deck keeps you protected from the elements year round, while watching small marine traffic, majestic cruise liners as well as tugs with barges in tow, battling the Strait’s ocean currents. Cook up a delightful meal on the grill while watching the eagles sore to their nest across the road, as they screech for their next meal.
Guest access
You will have full access to your private suite and shared access to free laundry located on the bottom level. Currently the landscaping is not complete and there is no fence on the roadside retaining wall, so yard use is limited.

Your large Safari Tent sits on a 900 sq’ wrap around fenced deck and is extensively furnished inside and out. In addition to the comfortable queen bed, 2 mattress & cots are available to put inside the tent at bedtime, or to use under a 10’x10’ canopy with detachable wall, or under the stars! From the deck you’ll catch the sun rising just after it hits the horizon, and enjoy watching it set over the trees in our field. The glamping site is in a safe place, with a private home nearby, but barely visible from your deck through some trees.

ALL WITHIN 10 min - A semblance of civilization isn't far! Tastings and tours at the distillery, or the essentials for groceries, liquor store, specialty coffees, pizza and medical clinic, are just beyond the nature trail, or a 2 min drive from your glamping site. We kindly request that there be no parties or events hosted at our riverfront house. Our aim is to provide a peaceful and tranquil environment for all guests to enjoy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a serene atmosphere.

In consideration of the comfort and well-being of all guests, we have designated our property as a non-smoking area. We kindly ask that you refrain from smoking inside the house and any other interior spaces. However, if you wish to smoke, there are designated outdoor areas where smoking is permitted. Please dispose of cigarette butts responsibly and ensure that the smoke does not disturb other guests or negatively impact the environment.

- "This is an absolute beautiful spot on the river. Our 3 night stay was wonderful especially the bear watching as well as all the other birds and fish visible from your living room windows. The first day we had a mother bear and 3 cubs come down to the other side of the river to eat some salmon that were swimming in the water. The beds were very comfortable and it was really nice having a sink and toilet off of the master bedroom. This unit is on the top floor which was fine for us however anyone with mobility issues my have a struggle getting up the 2 flights of stairs. The only negative thing I could say would be the cooking utensil inventory could be increased, it could use a couple of nonstick fry pans with lids, cheese grater, better cutlery etc. It seems like maybe over time guests have removed or damaged items and just haven't been replaced. Other than that, I would definitely stay there again. It's close to everything and is still quiet and very relaxing."

Take it easy overlooking our magnificent seascape setting. Great potential for spectacular pink, yellow, or indigo sunrises. With public beach access you can do a low tide walk along the sand bars. Or simply enjoy the high bank panoramic view of the Spit and Estuary from the covered deck. Comfy outdoor seating has a great vantage to ocean goings on like eagles, geese, boats and float planes. We provide all you'll need for your stay to be comfortable. Near to Elk Falls, the Campbell River, Ripple Rock hikes and 40 min from Mt. Washington.
Situated below our primary residence, this 675 sq ft space is freshly painted, and trimmed inside with local Douglas fir. The ceilings are 9 ft high thus adding to a sense of spaciousness. The main area windows on two of the walls provide plenty of natural light. There is a basic kitchenette with a fridge and freezer. Sorry no oven but a single induction burner, instapot, electric skillet, rice cooker, toaster or microwave to cook with inside the suite.
Outside under an over-height covered deck is a propane BBQ with both a dining and couch seating area that is set up for your outdoor cooking and leisure. When the blackberries on the lawn edge are ripe please help yourself. The outside views on the inside of the suite are also quite enjoyable. Being on the lower floor its nice and cool in the warmer months. Local art work and home spun textiles are featured throughout.

Blue Door By The Sea is a cute cozy space that has everything you need! The living room area has a tv with full channel selection, Netflix and high speed WiFi. There are games and books if you are looking for an evening in.
The kitchen has the cutest blue fridge you’ve ever seen! You can cook any simple meal with the air fryer or microwave. There is even a slight ocean view from the outdoor area. Wake up to a nice cup of coffee or tea, many options are available for your choosing to make the perfect cup!
The bedroom has a brand new queen mattress and bedding for a cozy nights sleep. You will also find a heater and fan for you to get the room comfortable to your liking. There are extra blankets and pillows in the closet as well as an iron and ironing board.
Finally the bathroom which is a nice size and has a washer and dryer. Basic bathroom items are supplied for you such as shampoo, conditioner, lotion, blow dryer and many other extras.

Public transit access is also nearby.

You will be charmed by this comfortable suite in our newer home. Enjoy your stay in an upscale safe neighborhood close to Beaver Lodge Trails. A great place to bring your bike if you like, we have a safe garage to store it. We are also very close to Timberline Village and NIC College. Minutes drive to the airport , hospital, golf course, beach, rivers and lakes and just 35 min drive to Mt.Washington. Close to lots of hiking trails, including Strathcona park and our our beautiful sea walk .

The space
This is a ground floor one bedroom suite with a separate entrance through the garage.
The kitchen space has most amenities but no oven.
The bedroom has a queen bed, dresser and closet space.
The living room is a large open space with a leather reclining sofa. There is a 70 inch HD TV with Cable, DVD/Blue Ray Player with many movies to choose from. There is a computer desk workstation with wifi. Living Room also has fish tank that is maintained by us. The fish tank light is on a timer.
The bathroom is situated just outside of the suite so there is a privacy wall to keep it separate from the rest of house but this will only be used by the Airbnb guests during their stay.
We don't have a great noise barrier so you might here the water pipes running sometimes through walls.

Also good to know......
I work as a hairdresser from home bottom floor in another space at front of house but is beside your bathroom usually Monday-Friday from 10:30-5:30. So there might be some noise between those times but hopefully won't interfere with your stay.

Last thing :) We also have two very friendly cats Phoenix (oarnge) and Theodore (grey) that live on the property.

We have two cats that live on the premises, Theodore and Phoenix they are brothers and very friendly. We will try our hardest to keep them upstairs with us.

The full Bathroom is just outside the suite for your use only and has a privacy wall from rest of the house.
I work Monday to Friday downstairs next to sweet as a hairdresser so there might be noise between 10:30-5:30.

Welcome to The Sea Grass Studio Suite. Guests are a 10 min walk to downtown Campbell River where you will find many quaint shops, cafes, and restaurants to enjoy. The Quadra ferry is a short walk away and is a great chance to explore a beautiful part of the Discovery Islands. Our suite offers a peek a boo view of the ocean and mountain landscapes that make for a stunning sunset backdrop. Along with your own private outdoor seating area to relax after a day of sightseeing.

The space
Our property is a shared duplex with a shared driveway. Parking is limited to one parking spot in front of the garage of Unit B for guests. The Sea Grass Suite is a ground level walk out Basement suite. The suite is brand new and has been styled with your comfort in mind. The Suite has a private entrance and a private outdoor seating area with BBQ.

Note we do not have a traditional stove setup but provide a ninja toaster oven, a microwave, and an electric hot plate for your convenience. We have a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. Please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you!

Our suite has a stunning ocean view which you can enjoy as you relax on your private patio. Watch the water traffic as it is constantly changing.

Our home is within walking distance to the wharf and the down town core.
For all the skier or the guest that want to ski or hike Mt Washington it is only a short 40 min.drive away.

The space
You can BBQ a fabulous dinner on your private patio while watching the ever changing activity on the ocean. There is always a chance of seeing whales swim by. From May until Sept. You can enjoy the many cruise ships that are either heading to Alaska or making their return trip back to Vancouver. There are Eagles that fly by on a regular bases and Herons that have a nest in the tree next door.
