This is a private, fully self-contained, one bedroom, level entry suite, resting under giant evergreen trees in the beautiful Comox Valley. Centrally located in a country residential area, the suite was custom built to be quiet, and features high ceilings and skylights throughout. Just a 5 minute drive to all amenities including the Comox Valley Airport, BC Ferry to Powell River, hospital, shopping, dining, recreation, beaches and the North Island College. From the off street parking area, the private gate leads you down a gradually sloping path to the no step entry with keyless door lock.
The suite is approximately 500 square feet, and was purpose built with privacy in mind. Semi-detached and situated beside the main home on 3/4+ acre, the suite boasts a bright full kitchen with plenty of counter and storage space, fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, gas cook top (with hood vent), oven, dishwasher, and microwave oven. Pots, pans, cooking utensils, mixing bowls, dishes, cutlery, etc are available, allowing you to prepare snacks or full course meals. There is a keurig and coffee pods, as well as various teas and basic amenities including cooking oil, vinegar, salt & pepper, honey, sugar, hot sauce, and more. The table is counter height, with four stools. There is in-suite laundry, a dedicated work space, fast Wifi, Smart Roku 55" TV with free shows, news & music channels. In addition, there is also a private yard/patio area with a dedicated BBQ, providing plenty of options for cooking, dining and comfortable relaxation.
The separate bedroom has a firm comfy Queen size bed, night tables with lamps (with USB charging ports), a small walk-in closet, dresser, and luggage stands.
In the living area you will find a well designed Italian made pull out sofa, providing comfortable seating which also pulls out into a very well supported double bed. It's a very good sofa pull out, but still a pull out and best suited for a single adult or for the kids.
We have full laundry facilities with a small capacity washer/dryer.
Our beautiful trees provide us with natural air conditioning in summer, and protection from winter winds.

The space

Please note that the suite is a basement suite with a young family living above. While every step has been taken to ensure sound proofing there may be noise transfer during daytime hours.

The suite backs directly onto a park, is a 2 min walk to the beach and located in a well established neighbourhood. Downtown Comox is a 5 min walk and it's a short drive to many Golf courses and Mnt Washington for downhill biking and skiing.

This is a very quiet well established neighbourhood, please respect the quiet setting and drive slowly on our road as we have little kids and pets as neighbours :)

The suite is used by my daughter, who visits for extended periods, but when she is not here, it is available for others to enjoy. It is a bright one-bedroom that easily accommodates two people, but there is an extra single bed in the living for a child if required. It is close to the beach, coffee shops, local pubs and restaurants. It is available for a short or long stay. Welcome to Tree Tops in the heart of downtown Comox.
A quiet and cozy one bedroom apartment with a south facing deck to enjoy in all seasons.
The apartment is located on the second floor of a house at the quiet end of the main street, only a quick walk to stores, pubs, coffee shops, the library, Berwick, Comox Marina and so much more. The beautiful Goose Spit Provincial park is only a 3 min drive away where you can swim, paddle board, climb the stairs and watch both the sunrise and sunset.

The space
Access to the apartment is up a few flights of stairs around the back of the house. Enter into a very bright, open concept kitchen and dining area with large windows and lots of sunshine. Next to the kitchen is a cozy alcove bedroom with a Queen size bed and lots of storage for your clothes.
Please note the ceilings are a bit low at certain points in the bedroom. The living room is complete with a leather couch, small desk and smart tv. All the walls are adorned with the beautiful paintings of a well known local artist - please inquire further if you are interested in purchasing them or visiting the gallery on the main floor. There is a small bathroom with a shower, no bathtub. Soap and shampoo/conditioner provided.

There is a washer and dryer located in the basement of the house, access from the outside at the back of the house. Please inquire further if you would like access to the laundry as it requires a separate code for the door.
Outside, enjoy the spacious and south facing deck. Your own private hideway in Comox!

This 2-BR unit is one of 3 in a quiet building with long-term tenants in the other 2-units. The walk-on beach is lovely, the view is breathtaking, from summer heat to winter storms, it is peaceful, serene and some days the sound of the surf, eagles and herons are all you hear. There are many excursions close by including mountain biking, skiing, fishing, boating and hiking. The Valley is nature personified and Kye Bay is a jewel - the breath of sea air in the morning is exhilarating!

The space
The kitchen and all amenities are well-appointed and there are grocery and liquor stores within a 10-minute drive. Our bedrooms are good sized and the bunk beds are high-quality doubles with the master bed queen-sized. In-house laundry is fairly new and you should have all of the appliances you'll need. The home is comfortable and cozy - the combined kitchen and living area is not huge - and things are not five-star fancy so if you’re looking for the Ritz, keep looking. We are close to the airport if flying in but this also means you will periodically hear planes and when the F18's or Snowbirds come in which is very rare, it can be awesome but bone-shaking!

Ground transportation is recommended unless you are cabbing it with all your food. Downtown Comox is about a 12-minute drive where you'll find everything you may need. There is ample parking on-site and more street parking close by.

The space
Ideal for a couple needing a little private, quiet location to stay for a few days, a week or up to a month. The neighbourhood is exceedingly quiet. The loudest noise you will hear are the eagles, chriping birds and, on some nights, the barking seal lions in Comox Harbour. It is an ideal hide away for two and we like it that way!
